I don't really believe in miracles but I guess they do happen. My elder sister who had been a chronic drunkard for over 12yrs that I had thought was actually psycho just got her deliverance. This was a very pretty and promising woman, who had just finished with her studies at university of abuja and had come to pay us a visit before going for national service, started abusing alcohol after some friends gave her a drink during a burial service. Her behavior was so embarrassing! Imagine a 28yrs old is a drunkard, messing up all the time on ordinary kaikai! There was nothing we didn't do. Even at that she became a ward counselor in 2o14, but all the money she made went into alcohol and people who took advantage of her. She once forgot 750k in a keke she board because she was too drunk to remember to carry her purse when she alighted. In the space of 5months, my sister got into over four life threatening accidents with her official SUV she was given by govt. My sister suffered! In fact, we suffered as a family because of her.
But just last month, I got into a fight with her because of behavior and she left the house. Fortunately, the people she went to stay with took her to their pastor who then prayed for her and she is now okay. It was revealed that she was bewitched by her friends then with the spirit of alcoholism— a bottle of alcohol was tight to her neck.
I am glad she is okay now, whether miracles exist or not, this is an amazing experience.

OK sir. Please, help my family! We are suffering! Even though our opponents only claimed 25 acres in the initial suit, they have gone ahead to take thousands of acres of our land that were never in dispute. They are selling to companies and individuals with reckless abandon for very cheap prices , simply because it is not theirs. Despite that we are in court,those people have gone ahead to build houses on our lands and have formed an autonomous community within this space of time. There is a certain prof have sworn to be our stumbling block. He influences everything with his political power and money. Despite this huge exploration of our oil which is one of the biggest in west Africa, with several job opportunities, my family members are stopped from working.

Amen, thank you! But honestly I am not optimistic any longer. The kind of power and money our opponents have acquired is too much to contend with just mere facts. We have the facts, they have the political power. They are telling it our faces they have already won. Imagine till today they are yet to put any file claiming they own the said land. This is exactly what they did at the appeals yet they won. A certain prof is behind our pains. We are suffering! The said land Shell is exploring is ours.

Life has not been really fair sha! I graduated since 2016 and yet to work. I am in constant depression as a result of my life issues. My 'near success syndrom' experiences leave me in pain. Imagine it! I studied a course i really didn't like in the pursuit for law degree so that i could help my maternal family fight a land case that involves crude oil and gas. I equally had the chance to travel and school in Australia, but my naivity made me jettison it. I have had a good job opportunity but missed out due to a spoilt phone( couldn't get the info on time). Late last year, i wanted to go for millitary direct short service but i considered my health issues and let it go even with connect. I am just hoping on the supreme court to do justice with our land case. Immagine the pain seeing others enjoying the oil money that comes from the soil you once owned and toiled on! Also,my friend and i have started sending some nice proposals to our state's ministries and oil companies under our newly founded company's name, hoping on one good response.

My point is this, whether there is something like ghost or not, there is a barrier between the living and the dead. The dead cannot interact with the living and vice versa. Whatever you choose to believe is your business.

Don't be stupid! I'm not a religious person but I had my grandmum come disturb me in my dreams, stating that we must do her second burial and her properties shared as tradition demands. I kept ignoring her msgs until it became persistent, and equally she promising violence on us. She said she was not being respected and recognized by the dead cos the rites were not performed. Finally, after other family members had similar encounters, we did the final burial rites which involves sharing of her belongings. # life is very deep

We should respect other peoples privacy. I dont like people invading my privacy even as a single talk more as a married couple.
Come visit and go that very day. If by error, you stayed till late, by next morning you should be off.

Why not stay unmarried?

That aspect you said it’s not nice to ask permission before he dishes food for himself is wrong . As big as I am, when I go out to visit my aunts or friends I do ask for permission to serve myself .

It’s totally wrong to be in someone’s house and not take permission to serve yourself no matter how familiar you are with the person . It’s called manner!!! cos you don’t know if the person hasn’t eaten or that is the last meal in the house at the moment or the food is being monitored so I could last some days.

It’s very disrespectful. What’s wrong in saying “can I serve something to eat?” When you go to a restaurant, you just don’t walk in there and go to the kitchen to pick whatever you want . You first of all make an order.

When you’re In someone’s house , coordinate yourself very well. Haba!!! The brother-in-law have bad manners. She should have corrected them earlier on than now .

They are just manners,and not criminal offences. And besides, it is relative. I do ask for permission though, and 90% only on first time. From their responses I know I have the liberty at any other time. Truth is,I can't be comfortable with anyone who cares so much about mundane things like "permission to eat".
