Oh flow and sexy? Lmao. cheesy

No worries, I am playing about with the vocals and not trying to impress anyone. But yeah, there is always room for improvement. Watch out for Krayola's version. wink

I usually take criticism on board, but saying I am "trying to sound sexy" is just not true. Please explain how I am "trying to be sexy" lol. I am a guy and as such don't have a clue how to. Lmao.

Okay, this one is just a snippet of things to come. grin

I made the beat, I liked it and I thought I should play around with the vocals. grin grin That way, it gives an idea to those who may be keen on using it. smiley

ElRazur, I've heard the beat. It's quite good but I kinda have a problem with the melodies. Plus it sounds more like an R and B. Singing would go really well with it. All in all, it's a very good beat. Maybe when you're done working on it, I'll spew something
Actually, haven't listened to it again I think it is a bit crap. lol.

Never mind, got something for you. Chamotex worked with it, perhaps you may be keen?

Also got this new joint cooked this morning [Gosh am on roll] I think it may be a banger. In fact, gonna try and do a vocal and post it up and see what people think of it. If you are cool with that beat [I.e this one I just cooked] you can bless it I guess.

Given your level of spelling errors, Grammatical blunders and logic, I am sure majority of people will agree that you should not be allowed near a toy gun. grin

hardywaltz:
I concur with the Emir, however the bulk of the blame should be heaped at the door steps of Parents. While growing up video games (Sega, Super Nes etc) almost derailed me but for the ever watchful eyes of my Mother.
Today we have the EPL, Laliga, Seria A, Facebook GSM, Blackberry, Twitter, Nollywood, AfricanMagic, internet etc. as distractions, Parents (career mothers) now leave their children to house helps and lesson teachers.
My friend's youger brother who is in SS1, cried his heart out and has not uttered a word since yesterday's defeat by Manchester to Chelsea, he can practically tell you everything about EPL since 1876 or thereabout, his execesize book is practically filled with Manchester past and present. and adds Rooney to his name in school.
You cannot blame the parents. Jeez. Ever since the time of man, there have always been distraction.

The bigger problem in my opinion is the Education system and the marking scheme. There isn't a unified or proper marking system.

I played Computer games growing up in Naija and heck, my first salary when I did my first job in the UK was to buy a playstation one and even now I buy more toys and gadget than ever, it really do not stop me from doing my set goals.

Keeping kids away from saying playing games can be counter-productive. Computer games have been shown to increase concentration and boost manual dexterity.

It all depends on the individual.A good student who knows what he or she is doing will not watch telly when he or she should be reading. There is tim to play and time to work. But what is happening now is that our students who are mostly in the secondary schools dont want to bend down and study. They guys prefer runnung after girls, joining cult groups, playing video games, smoking and drinking when they should be reading. The girs prefer watching Africa Magic and Nollywood channels. Our parents are not helping matters. They prefer sending their wards to Special Centers for the GCE and WAEC exams where answers to exam questions are written on the board for the students during examinations.
Oh please give those of us who are intelligent a break. grin

I watched TV when I was supposed to be reading.

I chased after ladies when I should have used the time in focusing on my study

While I was never in a cult, I hanged with the "Gang of Friends" etc and look at me now. cool

My point? Regardless of what, those who will pass will do so. smiley

So it is not because of the appalling levels of education system and failure on a whole social-political and what not levels?

I wonder if the Emir have any formal education and if so, I wonder what his results were. It will be interesting to now.

This is the 2nd thread today concerning this Aisha fellow. Something must be wrong somewhere. How many people she ban today? Seun needs to seriously review the rules of this forum. For mods and members alike.
Or could it just be she is enforcing the rules that many have taken for granted? Just a thought. smiley
Music/RadioRe: Cassidy: One Of The Best Emcees Of Our Time! by ElRazur: 1:17pm On Apr 02, 2010
Yes it is an opinion, but when such words are used in the same sentence as Cassidy, then a challenge should be expected.

No he is far from the status of a legend.

How many Platinum albums?

How many influences has he had on the Hip hop?

Is his style Unique?

Has he remained consistent over the years?

Is he considered the a great one or a legend by those who really eat rap and sleep rap 24/7?

This is just a quick yard-stick measure and not the end of what makes a legend or a great MC. Let us apply the same set of question to say Pac.

About 7 or more.

His influences are their for all to see. The first rapper to release a double cd that went multi platinum. One of the first rapper that is very prolific - Write loads and record loads.

In the words of "Shock G" he rhymes from the pit of his stomach. His socio-political conscious lyrics are one of the first during his time for example "A poor single mother on welfare/Tell me how you did it" "I'm too young to drink/but not too young to fight and kill in a war" etc.

Even after his death he is still having posthumous tracks dropped that are still relevant to today. How many Artist can pull that off?

He's consistently cited as one of the greatest ever to touch the mic.

So you see my friend, to even suggest Cassidy is a legend or on the road to become one is just asking for trouble and an insults to the Hip hop greats.

Kaffir what do you know about hacking? no be naija style hacking i dey talk about o. Remeber where your knowledge ends ,na there another person own start.DNS attack my yansh ,you don hear of site hijacking ?

No wonder Nigerians can't rule themselves ,when you have so called educated folks making such bullcrap statements!
Personally, you do not have the resources to do it, and based on your post, you clearly do not have the know-how. Also, I think you will find that a redirected traffic can be presented a page/site hijack. Having said that I do not think Seun is dumb enough to have sh/tty servers providers or easy to muck set up.

Your last statement is ironic. But keep them coming. smiley
PoliticsRe: Aisha2 Is An A.s.s.hole by ElRazur: 12:33pm On Apr 02, 2010
Frosbell, IP can be by-passed.

My ISP allows me multiple/dynamic IPs, so I can switch between IPs if necessary.

Also, there is a program called "Tor". If installed, it can generate different IPS for you as there are many people will to let them use their IP as a "connecting point". So with this kind of setting it is almost difficult to police IP. Unless off course one is China.

Also Seun have to strike a balance between alienating users and generating revenue. A ban on an IP can be a blanket ban and hence lock out legitimate users.

So as it stand, I am more of the belief that removing offending post is more effective.
Music/RadioRe: Cassidy: One Of The Best Emcees Of Our Time! by ElRazur: 12:22pm On Apr 02, 2010
Do you guys even know what a Legend is? Cassidy is NOT a legend. He is good, but nothing extra ordinary about him.

Can you put him in the same league as Nas, Eminem, Jay Z, KRS, Cannibus, etc? That is unlikely and highly improbable. So as to how he is a legend is beyond me.

What she must know is that even if they ban me ,i can unban myself because i am friends with a notorious hacker and i can easily  instruct him to crash the nairaland website if i wanted too. But i won't do that because even though i get angry easily ,i make rational decisions. beaf which one be your own now you be woman wrapper abi wetin?
Oh negro please.

You are now talking sh/t. So you will ruin the forum for everyone because of what? You broke the rules. Nice logic.  Besides, if it is crashed, it can be back on line soon.

Alternatively, create your own forum?  grin

For the record, I am not sure you can hack nairaland perse, however traffic can be redirected here to crash it. DNS attack and all that. Anyway, good luck. cheesy

OMO IBO:
Aswerigad, people get all hung up on this ban thingy.

I thought I was the one who thought bans do zilch.
Yeah it is counter productive. Deleting offending post without warning is more effective in my opinion.  smiley

chosen04:
Am no fan of that double mouthed opportunist minister, but you obviously deserve more than a ban, for the use of such un-cultured, un-African, un-christian, un-islam and immature choice of language.
Arrgggh. You never heard that language is as a result of evolution, borrowing and amalgamations of words/culture/media/Religion etc?

Yeah it may be immature if used in certain manner. I am not sure it is immature of Shoot2kill in the context in which he used it. But then my opinion and not a statement of fact. smiley
