Question for the Somali.

Why is sewing of ladies punannii common in your region? I know in Nigeria we have sex with minor up in the north, but why is the sewing shut of a woman's private part still common? And to make it worse, a man dis-virgin such woman without taking off the thread. Is there any cultural justification for this?

I noticed there are many differences in "mixdown" in some of the stuff I have heard.  Here is another idea I think it may work.

For those recording their own vocals, it makes sense to probably use a universal DAW. I have a there here and it is "Free" well it is not exactly free, but one can use it for ever. Only, that it will remind you from time to time to buy a licences. Apart from that it is free. All you have to do is just click "buy license later" and it will resume start up. So in that sense, it is completely free.

And please if you do like it, please just pay for the license. It is only 60dollars. I bought a £150 Cubase but I am yet to even open the pack as this program I am talking about does exactly the same thing, it is free and works well.

The idea is, if we all use this format, it will make recording things easy and setting outputs and inputs levels very easy. If people are interested, I may try and do a "rar or zipped" file for people to download and use. Just indicate your interest, alternatively you can download it yourself.

I will urge people to use this as you have nothing to lose and works well like most professional DAW. It recognises my mic input without tweaking and it was easy to do my vocals. It also have plug in for vst etc. Anyway, give it a try.


@Gflex, this can save you money and time away from the studio. All you need is a pc or laptop. Oh, the program is not power hungry at all, so any recent pc or laptop should work well with it.

If I have to vote on the basis of one policy only, I am sure that will be a deal breaker, but as it stand other parties have a few things here and there that are of interest. I will really like to see Libdem get bigger in the coming years, their policies are something that I really do like, but since they will not make much changes at this point in time, I suppose the whole idea is to vote for them so as to get to that level, but then what is to stop them from changing and become like the big two?

[Even though this is an accusation, but let us all play along] Surely, this do not make them 100% right wing like you are suggesting. If anything it means they are centred but share views that are right leaning.

As per tweaking your voice for telephone effect, it will be hard to do unless you have the vocals seperate. As it stand, adding one may have an effect on all tracks and make it sound off.

@krayola, not sure if gating and filtering may work here on his voice, but I have a feeling it will have an effect on either his vocal or the back tracks.

Basically, a program that watches out for spams - most spam are cut and paste etc from known links. The program decided to shut your account down and then notify a moderator [super]. It may be reinstated. That is what I think most likely happen.

The same program have stopped me in the past and shut my account down too. Mukina2 just restored it back then.
