TheSuperNerd: Lol.... Shifting the goal posts now? Why straying from the issues in discourse? The issue here is Cadiz.
You said the first team quality of Cadiz was poor when you paid them a visit a few years ago and I am saying things have changed since then for them and they are now in La Liga. That alone shows a marked quality improvement as regards their first team. They beat out good Ball Playing Segunda sides like Girona and Almeria to get automatic promotion.
Now you have left this and started attacking the quality of the Segunda which you hardly watch anyway only b'cos you wanna talk up the Championship again. Dude.... happy typing. Got no time today for your evasive manner of discussion. And talking Finance... Gala will be paying Etebo 1.2M euros for a year. Stoke could never match that for Etebo. So by finance alone, according to your usual way of twisting things, this would mean Gala definitely is a huge stepup from the Championship. Ciao. Coming from someone who had preferred Ebuehi joining Norwich in the Championship as against Benfica; one of the best clubs In Portugal, you should expect anything. |

AndSunGorilla: It is the sentence construction that nailed Mr. Forgetfulness. Based on what he typed it seems he intended to say VicMo won Europa, epl and singlehandedly won afcon. However, he misplaced the modifiers etc. And in fact how can one person single-handedly win a competition when it's not ping pong or tennis, I tire o. BascoVanVeli: Etebo appreciation post. Might not be the prettiest but he has been the best performer for us in our last two competitions. Finally going to a big club and I am sure we will finally see the quality on a consistent basis. His versatility is supposed to be his strength, but, so far, it has been his weakness.
He has never been established at a particular position, this has further stunted his development. |

barackodam: Life hard you o. Ha!
Is there any atom of seriousness in what I posted. I had to even come out and say I'm darker than Etebo so you'd know I wasn't dissing him.
No be mouth, but I can bet anything you're not as much a Pan Africanist as I am.
But that's not the point. Have fun, crack jokes. Don't take anything too serious. I didn't advise him to bleach, neither did I denigrate him. There are a lot of things that start out as jokes, overtime we found that these things we laughed about have grown to be a giant monument of ideological struggles.
Imma give you an example. When you put on your TV to get entertained and you think o, this is a sitcom I ought to enjoy, but then you see the portrayal of men there as some bunch of dweebs, clumsy, dumb, scared to death of their women, having no opinion at all in their own homes, you think it's funny, until such traits are endorsed as the ideal way a man should be.
I'm not accusing you of dissing him, I'm dissing you for talking down on the black skin even though jokingly.
And you're right, life is harder for me as a man than it ought to be. |

If it was the same match I watched the whole second half, I only saw one.
The save was poor and his agility was poor too. Took him time to get up after making the dive.
Obviously, he lacks experience and needs game time.
If he is the club first choice this season, I will choose him ahead of Uzoho. Nope!! Maduka is only good enough to be our 3rd choice. |

But saying we should call them so we can cap them even when it's evident they haven't done anything as at the moment to earn a call up is unacceptable! And in the process depriving those performing currently the opportunity to join the team is purely idiotic. |

✔Club Friendlies
Maduka Okoye, Emmanuel Emegha (Sparta Rotterdam) vs Borussia Dortmund
Olanrewaju Kayode (Shakhtar Donetsk) vs FC Kolos
Frank Onyeka, *Ayo Simon Okosun (FC Midtjylland) vs BK Odense (OB)
Tochi Chukwuani, Emeka Nnamani (FC Nordsjaelland) vs Aarhus GF
Bonus:
✔Tunisian Ligue 1
Anthony Okpotu (US Monastir) vs Esperance Tunis. Maduka's gloves are like ones I've never seen before. From the looks of it, it would make grabbing easier. |

But I seriously don't understand why somebody that claims to be a Nigerian (occasionally bragging about being more Nigerian than some of us here) will invest so much time to rubbish players that came through our football system! komekn: Stating a fact does not mean you are Rubbishing a player. Maybe to you it does. But in general NO.
Awaziem is CB for the SE the basis of present continous selection can only be. Quality top quality and consistent perfomances in your club and league. But he has been struggling he at best very very average.
My expectations are always about current top quality performance with Comparison.
Awaziem is not going too Boavista because he is outstanding or had a great season. But the opposite. If he was any good he should be going to another La Liga team.
Going to Boavista is a step down a reflection of poor quality. His parent club did not bring him to the club because he is not good enough.
You cannot window dress the situation by saying it's Portuguese First division.
I made a comparison with the Championship on finances and quality. Because best and better players follow the money. As well as to highlight the poor level of club. Using the same metric.
Sheyi ojo was totally useless during his time at France, you said nothing about his time there. According to you, there's nothing to talk about.
He's one of your beloved, you don't wanna be seen critiquing him.
Same player goes to a league way way way lower than the French league, same league you equated to League 1 of England, you were all over here singing his praises, comparing him to Chukweze, shouting end product to disfavor the latter.
It didn't surprise me that you never harped on how poor the Scottish league is because I know when hypocrisy is talked about, Oxford, Cambridge, and Merriem Webster dictionary need to replace whatever phrase they are currently using as the definition with KOMEKN. |
