Etebo had an outstanding world cup undoubtedly.

However, he has not been outstanding in the Championship but far from it. That means he will not be generating too much interest.

That's the harsh reality of football.
Was the Championship the only place he has played?

Ings is better than Tammy from day one

If I am the English coach ings will be my first Choice ahead of Kane
Injury really dealt with that guy.

He's a quality striker.

True. But he delivered solid performances from LB this past season for Arsenal and bagging the most assists (or if not most, definitely a good number of assists) for an "English-eligible" LB from that position so England not even giving him a shout for that position says something. And they didn't even consider Chillwell. That's worse. Anyway, it's their problem, not ours.

My only concern was to confirm Saka's absence from the list.
Yea, their problem.

Your worst fear, this time was unconfirmed. grin grin

Lol... Maybe or maybe not. But look at that list again and you will find that there no recognised Leftbacks in the team. Not even Chilwell. Lol... All the same, good for us for now. wink
He's not a left-back, he's just a makeshift. If I'm to rate him based on his performance so far at that position, it's be below average. I'm guessing that's the reason why he has failed to make the list.

You are absolutely correct bro. Man u won't be bad but looking at the way they treated Ighalo is making me have a double mind about them sha.
Ighalo was signed because of Rashford's injury, but the Covid break gave Rash enough time to recover and resume with the team.

Osimhen updates

Courtesy: IL Martino (@mattinodinapoli)

Osimhen met his new Napoli teammates yesterday and the captain, Lorenzo Insigne was the first to greet him at the San Paolo.

Today they arrived at Castel Di Sangro for their preseason camping/training.

The Napoli Journey begins for our Number 9 with his first training today.
Wishing him an injury-free season.

I know a fit Osimhen would always deliver.

Funny enough, Sadiq only played 1 game in the Scottish league.. 4 in total for Rangers...
He played 12 times in the Eredivise, scored 5 and assisted 3..

The thing about Komekn is that once he doesn't like a player,he'd do anything to discredit that player....

That really makes me really doubt if he has any kind of love for the super eagles or he is just here to market his goods...
Very annoying somebody.

Just watch how he'd try to twist real events so he can weave in whatever narrative suits his prejudicial stand against such players.

Do not pervert my proposition to suit your nefarious narrative. There is a VERY BIG DIFFERENCE, but that will be lost on you.

Umar after 7 years in Europe, started off with Roma, then multiple loans in Seria A, B, then the Eredivisie as well as Scottish premier league. On all occasions he has been unable to claim a regular shirt very average but in the Scottish Premier league abysmal.

He then drops to the backwaters of European football after how many years in European football, with a league rated 20 in Europe, and is doing very well in that low level league.

However, is it a case of this is his level huh ❓ or genuine improvement. Until he moves to a better league he is still poor quality.

So when a player who has played in far higher leagues for several years without making any real progressive improvement drops 15 leagues below and then performs we should then say he is now a Lion.

He is simply a big fish in a very small pond, until he moves to the ocean we really can not tell if he he is a good swimmer.

You are the double standard bigoted hypocrite blinded by negative prejudice.

Finally, he is not the best in that low level league he not even in the top 5. So even the tag Lion in a low league is open to debate.
You're always making reference to Sadiq's torrid time in Scotland with the intent to ridicule the lad.

He did very well in Holland, a league miles above the Scottish league, you'd never see that.

Weidone Sir!

Those people clamoring for him are doing so because of what he can do as a winger, and I'm saying he isn't special as a winger no more.

That said, Moses won't come back to play as a full back.

Let talents prove their mettle in the NT then we can call it case closed.

Osaze equally proved himself and none of these current talents till further notice, come close.

The fact is LET them be tested!!!!

Only Nacho, Iwobi so far has been tested enough.

Till then Talents remains Talent!!

Many history abound to prove that.

They both may be finished to us, but a Coach might just disagree with our talk by including them. They are definitely not extra luggage, as far as SE is concerned.
These players are retired!

These players are retired!!

These players are fučking retired!!!

Nobody forced them into retirement it was a decision taken of their volition.

What were the stats of both players before joining the NT?

Some of us have readily moved on from "what could have been" to "what we can do now". Do yourself a favor by jumping on that train else you'd remain in perpetual insolvency.

Oga Charles,a fit Balogun is better than all these players you mentioned.

Oh if na age matter I for gree my man but I can tell you that Omeruo and likely Awaziem are older than Balogun.

Pls which one be federal character again or are you saying Rohr is collecting bribe.

All Ahmed Musa need is to go back to European league again, forget all these Oyekwuru,Kalu hypes, may be Chuckwueze would be able to do it I don't know...

If I remember vividly Ahmed Musa have four World Cup goals.
There's a likelihood that Awaziem is older than Balogun? I know it's your opinion, some of us have seen that kid grow, so, only you know what you're talking about.

Omuero may be same age as he, I can't really argue that.

Doing well in the English Championship and the EPL is enough for everyone here to forever revere him as the best thing to have happened to our football.

Available options**
1) Osimhen - good quality yet to be proven at Higher quality Seria A.
2) Iheanacho - EPL flop
3) Simon - Good
4) Chukwueze - 3 goals in 37 games, a lot of development work required.
5) Kalu - Ok but not outstanding
6) Onyekuru - Good but unproven at Higher level
7) Musa - EPL flop
cool Onauchu - unable to justify selection from games played in the SE
9) Dessers. - untested at a higher level
10) Umar - very low quality league ( village champion)
11) Nwaekeme - untested at a higher level
12) Ejuke - untested at a higher level
13) Iwobi - midfielder
14) Kayode - Good potential but untested in SE opportunity not given.

None of these players has attained the level of Ighalo and none of them is better than him. The only player able to contend is Osimhen.

We talk about players in form, what will be Osimhen form in the much more quality and competitive Seria A.

He will not be the focal point of the team and with a ball played into space and or over the top of defenders for him to run onto as the main strategy will simply not work in Seria A. This league is well know for defending and closing spaces.

This is a test that Ighalo has already passed with flying colours, PROVEN, TESTED and CONFIRMED.

If we bring Vic Moses into the equation none of them has played at his level and or exceeded his ability.
What were Ighalo's stats at Udinese?

Didn't Ighalo take the place of older, better and retired players in the team?
