komekn: If we go by Last season Fulham , Leeds, West Brom are clearly better than Boavista.
If we go to the bottom half with Stoke that fields two Nigerian international and many more internationals as well as Swansea.
Compare the team sheets and look at the personal if you look at the value and quality of players Boavista doesn't compete with these two teams.
The championship is more physicality and speed than technicality. Different types of football emphasis. So not all players can converge technicality with physicality and then add speed.
Players from the Championship regular go to the top leagues of Europe. And you will have to spend good money to prise a quality player from the Championship to any other league.
Money attracts the best players that's a given. Even though I agree with your last paragraph, it still doesn't tell the full story. We've seen times without number, teams on a shoe-string budget go on to cause teams with big players in their ranks upsets.
The privilege your favorites - Iorfa and Adarabioyo have is what's helping them find a decent team to play for, Awaziem doesn't have such, he has to struggle as twice as them to gain recognition, so, bear with us, if we are a little excited with his recent Portuguese fellowship. |

charlesemeka85: Newly promoted Serie A club FC Crotone are yet to officially announce the transfer of Ogenyi Onazi because they do not have an agreement to pay the midfielder based mainly on his performance.
The media have already reported that Onazi has undergone a routine medical ahead of penning a three-year contract as a free agent after he terminated his contract with Turkish club Denizlispor.
Onazi’s camp would rather he is given a normal contract with a monthly salary and win bonuses.
However, it is believed that Crotone are weary of the player’s recent battle with injuries.
The former Lazio star was hit by a long-term injury which kept him out for most of last year at Trabzonspor, who released soon after he had recovered.
He completed the rest of the part season at Denizlispor before he walked out on them over unpaid salaries. Which kind agent this guy get self? They are always having issue with his salary right from his time at Lazio. |

TheSuperNerd: Matthew Yakubu, GK (21 yrs) kept his third clean sheet of the league season yesterday as his side SKF Sered secured a 2-0 away win at Trnava.
Sered currently sit third in the Slovakian Top flight (Fortuna Super Liga) table.
I believe he has cemented himself as their Number 1 "safehands" for the season. A lad to watch.
This is him below.
1st Pic: With Nigeria's U-20s at the 2019 All Africa Games in Morocco.
*Also, was fourth choice and dropped for the Poland 2019 U-20 WC. We went with the GK trio of Jonathan Zaccala, Olawale Premade, and Detan Ogundare.
2nd pic: With SKF Sered. That reminds me, where's Zaccala self? |

Philosopher1979: WHY A LATVIAN TEAM WILL WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
It may sound Absurd but a Latvian team may win the champions league one day. They are sourcing talents from football Academies in Nigeria and Africa. Africans are genetically talented for sports. This is how France used diasporan Africans to win the world cup. There are now many Nigerian players flocking there at an alarming rate. These Nigerian players are good but raw. What will happen in Latvia is that they will simply refine then and win Uefa or the Champions League with them. Africa's inability to manage human resources is funny. Other countries see it and take advantage. The difference between home grown Africans and diasporan Africans (who were born in Europe) is just the training and exposure. This is probably why Valmeria does not want to sell Tolu Arokodare. They want to fill their team with blacks, win things with them and peharps naturalize them to play for the national team. I dont know but we Africans dont know how to harness, use or develop talent. Human resources is something we dont understand How can clubs with difficulty holding onto their best players for more than a year gain the stability required to challenge for the UCL? |

I really can't say, only time will tell. Well, finance may be a little problem, if Stoke's selling price is in the high.
However, there's a bias in favor of players who have had an above average showing in the past, teams believe they still have it in them to deliver. |
