komekn: Being in a top league does not automatically make you a top player. You can be anonymous and almost a spectator.
I would rather have the most outstanding consistent players in the Championship than a players in a moi moi team in La Liga who has done nothing and will do nothing.
Eze, Tega and Ovie are outstanding players in thier league.
You could add Iorfa and Adarabioyo to that list in the context of defence. And on the wing we have Osayi coming in to stake a claim.
Finally, Scottish Premiership league may have a low rating. however the club Rangers has a much much higher rating than Huesca in European club ratings.
If you have the time look at the players and value of Sunderland and Hulls players and compare to Huesca and you will see gap that will suprise. And these are essential league one clubs now. Osayi is no threat to anybody in the present team, there's nothing he can offer that those we have can't. He's not better than Bonaventure let alone. |

charlesemeka85: U can't tag nwakali's inclusion to ur dream team futuristic when he is yet to do anything in the game since leaving the shores of Africa since the past 3 nd half years.
If you re being sincere in your post you would have atleast included a player who hv been showing promise since the past 1 or 2 seasons consistently.
The likes of aribo, chukwueze, ejaria, Eze etc hv been performing in the past 1-2 seasons and it's ideal for any right thinking super eagles fan to predict that the aforementioned players are likely to make the 2021 afcon team or the 2022 world.
The Nwakali u re hyping and clamouring for his possible inclusion in the team is yet to stake a claim in the first team of Huesca which is the reason i still maintain that your post is full of sentiment and favoritism.
If you re being sincere with your 'futuristic' dream team Nwakali won't even make bench of Rohr's team when more serious and talented players are emerging day in dayd out.
The ideal thing is for you to wait and pray Nwakali performs well in laliga next season before making your prediction I don't know why this thing de ja é lara je.
Who knew Simmy was going to make our WC list a month or 2 before the tourney? From now till next year, there's still a lot that can happen.
I appears you're feeling threatened because of Aribo. |

mostob: Rohr is a good team manager but he is not that good tactically. When you find a perfect tools for something, and this tool has a shortcoming, you don't throw the tool away...you find a way to neutralize its shortcoming. This is a perfect illustration of Rohr. I admit I do get frustrated with his conservative football at times . NFF was supposed to hire somebody with vast knowledge in attacking football to balance the equation but who did we get?. ... YOBO. Dude is even a DEFENDER. Keshi was a defender. |

humility33: Bro, corruption has come to stay in Nigeria. don't think it will get better at all. every institution seems to perpetually corrupt, i was in the High Court today to do an affidavit
the level of corruption i see amongst those court officials baffles me, even the commissioner for oath is more corrupt than anyone could think
Nigerians are just something else when they see money, the average Nigeria can easily be bribed having an indigenous coach for SE will make it easy for mediocre players that earn some hard currencies to fetch call ups all they have to do is to dangle a few dollar notes at the face of this indigenous coaches boom!! they get call ups and even get to play Man! The way you sounding, you obviously don't think there's hope.
I'm not denying the existence of corruption, all I'm saying is, we can't always depend on foreign coaches, it's not a sustainable practice, there'd be a time when we'd depend on a local coach again and with the system still the way it is, we can't expect anything to change.
We need to make conscious effort to fight this monster, we can't do that by slapping corrupt officials on the wrists - what happened with Salisu, there has to be real consequences.
Can you accuse the NBBF of corruption? That means, there's something they are doing right.
If we accept that corruption is here to stay, then why fight it? |

Danielnino00: Onyekuru case may be beyond playing in Turkey.. For some reasons I can't understand, Rohr doesn't rate him...
Check the stats of all our current wingers that started playing football 5-6 years ago, Onyekuru has the best goal record among them! He can function on any side of the wing and also as a lone striker or false 9..
E surely get why Rohr doesn't start him.
Personally,I like Onyekuru...I think he has what he take to be like Mane.. A goalscoring winger with good work rate.. It baffles me as well.
For a young lad like him, having scored about 50 goals as a winger is something special. I just want to see him back Monaco dominating things. |

I must confess ya cracking me up big time you better no make afrobear hear that one How many teams on the continent can boast of the amount of players we currently have plying their trades in the big leagues. |

sheyishemba: Agreed with some of your points but have some reservations In your preposition you said there is nothing rohr has achieved that some of local coaches haven't achieve you have a point though but there are some reservations about it ...most of local coach we have employed in the past lacks transparency and accountability most of this local coaches ruin the career of many of our youngster just because they are agents to these players and want to be rewarded handsomely not considering how bad the moves can affect the players ... Another issue is godfatherism if you will agree with me most of the local coaches have godfather that were instrumental in their appointment these godfather influence the player selection of the team and it is not good for our football sometimes football is not always about winning trophy (though it the major aim for every team to win a trophy ) in guardiola first two season he didn't even a spoon not to talk of a cup but he put some protocol in place that even if guardiola leaves man city today any manger that takes his place will still continue in that good form .but when keshi left how many keshi players is still in the SE till date, 60 percent of his players career died alongside with him. Am not in support of any local coaches for now but I can bid for the likes of emanalo in the future . I knew this would come up.
You see, the problem with our local coaches is a systemic problem, it has very little to do with competence really. We have very conpetent local coaches, the problem is the system that's ridden with corruption and we need to fix that, importing average foreign coaches to come coach us - how long can we continue in that line?
They also have to be treated well. A better pay package for them. Rohr can afford to be owed months of salary because he has other businesses, how many of our local coaches can afford that?
We need to have coaches who understand our culture, develop it, then we can continue from there. |

IDENNAA: I stand firmly with what Odegbami is saying. You cant tell me out of all qualified Nigerians coaches and the rest of qualified persons from other African countries we cant find a coach from the continent who understands our football mentality. Its high time we stop giving these Europeans chances to ridicule us. Slavery is over yet we are still hiring these white men thinking they have some magic wand.
NFA should also give scholarships to interested retired super eagles player as a reward for their service. We need to invest in our football because even if a black man is the smartest coach the whites will never employ him , simply because they feel you are inferior to them. I agree!!
There's nothing Rohr has achieved that some of our local coaches haven't, in fact, Rohr is only playing catch up.
That was how we wasted money in bringing in Berti Vogt and Lagerback and they were all $hit. |

Just look at.
Rodgers did well with an average team and you are praising Mourinho for struggling with a quality team.
Mbok, forget abowrit. At a point no one would care what point they were before, you take us within touching distance to the moon and you send us crashing all the way down.
Leicester City before their famous EPL triumph were only expected to be a good enough side to remain EPL regulars, bit they did the unbelievable, they won the league, the following season, they struggled and they were where they most probably should, but, the management were having none of it, Ranieri was fired, they've had a taste of honey, they don't want anything else. |

✔Top Tackler in the EPL three seasons in a row: 2017/2018, 2018/2019, and now 2019/2020
✔ Top interceptions two seasons in a row (2017/2018 and 2018/2019) and for the first time, Second in interceptions this season despite missing a good number of games.
Ndidi is the undisputed Best DM in the EPL. A World Class performer. I'd feel very sorry for Ndidi if he has to spend yet another season at that average club. He deserves better. |

But the case here is entirely different. This same herdsmen have been killing muslims too in Zamfara and Katsina.
If the killings in Southern kaduna is/was because they are/were christians; what about the ones in the muslim dominated areas? Was it also because they were christians? Yes, the Christians are the ones getting killed most of the time in southern KD. I don't know much about what's happening in Zamfara and Kastina, but, it all has to stop all together.

Why always using the "christian" tag ? I've lived in Kano for a little while, crisis pursue us comot, we were Christians, that was what made us victims, one of my aunts was almost killed after someone accused her of blasphemy, it was a miracle she escaped.
I've been to Zaria a couple of times, Niger too, never been to Southern Kaduna, but anyone who has would know that is dominated by Christians and that's where killings have been going on inhabited even while on curfew, this is crazy.
