weyreypey: No sir. No time I travelled with the civic that it doesn't need mechanical attention that often cost more than the fuel bill for the sequoia. Adding that to the civic fuel bill.... You now understand?
In addition security officers rarely disturb you in the sequoia. Lol. I understand you now. 😅 The Sequoia is still a fuel guzzling v8 beast sir. Pretty sure someone transitioning from a small car to that will cry for his mother in the first week when he sees the fuel bills. 😂 |

In retrospect how much were our fathers earning in the late 1970s.
I'm not an economist but I would say this is due to inflation....
My father was earning 5000 back and giving me 50 naira as my pocket money.
But right now - does any MD earn 5000.
I feel this yeye minimum wage should be more.....
But hey over to APC warriors. As a matter of fact, hardly any MD can buy a brand new car with his monthly salary now. |

jazzman7711: How is a religion supposed to ''stop'' invaders?
Religion and deities are of SPIRIT, and do not physically manifest themselves.
You don't ask why 'Jesus' and 'Muhammed' haven't ended wars, hunger, corruption, and injustice.
You only ask African religion why it doesn't perform magic for you.
Stop reading comic books.
Everything has its time.
Your time to be free of foreign brainwashing is NOW.
We are in the era of African awakening. If you read what I wrote well, I didn't exclude any religion. |

jazzman7711: It will not 'reduce' my brother.
It will DISAPPEAR overnight.
Guaranteed!
I keep telling people that the reason Arab and European invaders ALWAYS forced their dirty religions on Africans after conquest was because they were SCARED SHITLESS of African religion and its deep spirituality.
So they demonised our traditional religion and imposed their rotten religions on us because they KNEW it would destroy our spirituality and enthrone CORRUPTION to their benefit.
In the 1500s when the Portuguese visited Benin City, which they described as among the world's most beautiful cities of the time, they wrote that the people lived in large, grand houses, but did not build front doors that open and shut, because the idea of somebody entering another's house to steal or rob was UNHEARD OF, and that crime was virtually non-existent.
The people practiced TRADITIONAL RELIGION.
Can CHRISTIAN AND MUSLIM Nigerians today DARE to build a house without barbed wire massive walls and gates, never mind front doors?
Is society not filled with christians and muslims who are fraudsters, corrupt thieves, kidnappers, bandits, tribalists and liars?
Of what benefit are foreign religions if all they do is say you can commit atrocities and simply ''ACCEPT JESUS'' OR ''ACCEPT MUHAMMED'' and all is forgiven?
Nonsense.
African religion does NOT do ''forgiveness''.
If you steal from the people you swore to protect, you will be DESTROYED.
Until we get leaders that BAN THESE FOREIGN RELIGIONS and GO BACK AND UPDATE THEIR TRADITIONAL AFRICAN RELIGION, BUILDING TEMPLES AND EVEN PYRAMIDS TO GOD, LIKE OUR ANCESTORS DID, we will keep running around in circles, and remain an embarrassing caricature, and a disgrace before the world. The same powerful religions that couldn't stop the Arab and Europeans from Overruning Africa. The same religion that claims to forsee things couldn't detect the true intent of the white men. The white men even took many of these objects of worship and confiscated them in museums for 100s of years now, and they've gone from glory to glory. One day everyone will accept none of these things work. |

Pastorjohn2: It's not tinubu fault you don't have a job, YOU'RE LAZY.
We are in an era where able bodied men are depending on the government and tinubu to give then jobs. During my time when I was 25 and discovered how diffcult it was to land a job, I quickly utilized my deep knowledge in the Bible from years of Bible studying to acquire my first church. By the grace of the almighty God today at the age of 37, I have 3 church's and I plan on building a 4th to boost myself.
Now my point is, We all have skills in one department or another. Use it and make money. You think it's easy for tinubu to fix 8 years of PDP corruption in just under a year in office?
The youths of today are a disgrace and may God help us all! Mumu man. Floating churches like chicken republic franchises is now a "skill" right? You're a disgrace to Christendom! |

Politics › Re: Bill Seeking Six-Year Single Term For President, Governors Scales First Reading by Elxandre(m): 8:01pm On Jul 18, 2024 |
Globad: I don't understand what you're saying. The link says six years SINGLE tenure. The subject says the same thing.
The body says the same thing. I've copied it as follows:
Clause 3 of the bill seeks to amend Section 135 subsections (2), (2A) and (3) of the Principal Act by replacing the word “four” with “six” to read:
“(2) Subject to the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, the President shall vacate his office at the expiration of a period of six (6) years single tenure commencing from the date...
So, where did you get your wrong impression from? You needed to have read further beyond their simplistic "replacing the word "four" with "six".
If you must make public comments, you must learn to read and understand the issue at stake before making comments Alright. Time will tell. |

Well if you are, I suggest you click the link in the post to read further. All they did is substitute "four" for "six" In the original article. They aren't rewriting any other thing. |

SmartPolician: Are you too blind not to see the headline? How can you even think that someone can extend the tenure of politicians from 8 to 12? And you're too daft to not notice, all they did was change "four" to "six" in the existing constitution. The constitution was not rewritten. |

Sports › Re: Messi Guides Argentina To Another Copa Final by Elxandre(m): 8:53pm On Jul 10, 2024 |
Comparing Copa to Euro is funny. Argentina alone has won 14 before Messi. Only Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay are capable of winning the thing realistically. Compare that to Euros that is much more difficult with the most wins being 3 cups by Germany. Portugal as a country hardly qualified for world cups before Ronaldo. They got to their first major final work Ronaldo in the team.
People lack context and sincerity. |
