Enough of the sentimentalism, Nigeria will be remaim stagnant, I repeat emotions, platitudes, sentiments doesn't make anyone a good leader.
If you are so lazy intellectually and can't push yourself to have an HND or B.Sc in all your adult life, such an individual should never rule a state or My country.
I totally support the Parliamentary system of government, let the Senate be closed down.
That institution is the biggest legitimate fraud in Nigeria, that's the place where there's quadruplication not duplication of Duties.
Why should we have Senate and House Committee on Institution like the Armed Forces, and some other Institutions.
Even America doesn't have any educational requirement at all.
Debates are supposed to expose how intelligent a candidate is, but we support them avoiding debates in Nigeria and end up with useless leaders.

.

Meaning by ending of Feb, we would have spent close to N2 trillion on subsidy, and if oil prices remain steady, and consumption figures go up...because it is much higher than 50m liters...we would reach somewhere around 12 trillion this year.

Ghana has two refineries by the way. IN Niger,it is probably above N1000 and they got a refinery.

Smuggling is back by the by.
It is not "1000" in Ghana.
That's a simplistic way to view it when the problem is simply our exchange rate.
If $1 was 500 Naira, petrol would be under 500 naira.

Our crazy exchange rate is the issue not the subsidy per say.

The bolded is a lie.

I was in Nigeria sometimes and the electricity was relatively stable. I heard people complaining that the amount charged on their meters was finishing quickly. What did they do? They started bypassing the meters.

Most of you cant pay for the so-called "enjoyment" you covet in the western world.

Na so so complaints. If not, go ask your peeps abroad how they are complaining about bills taking large chunks of their salaries.

You even talk of "social support", do you know how much UK government collects from each citizen monthly as National Insurance. If Nigeria government starts to implement that, you will all cry to high heaven or you think it is the UK or Canada Government that is making provision for the social support system?
I already knew you don't live in Nigeria.
How many bills can someone earning even 100k ($65) pay monthly?

Afcon isn't the hardest, the cup is rotated among these 8 countries in the last decade.

Egypt, Cameroon, CIV, Nigeria, Senegal, Algeria, Tunisia, Zambia

2. Cameroon won it back to back, Egypt won it 3 times in a row
A trophy with 8 winners in ten years is not hard to win?

No one even noticed a SA guy that was spamming NL SA-Nigeria match thread that day, saying people dont know anything, that south african will requalize at the 84th/86th minutes. Even when people kept shouting him down, he kept on spamming, eventually it came to pass around that minute.
I think we can see their gameplan and conspiracy theories against Nigeria. I dont know what he saw, but there were more to it, not just guesing. Who knows he might be part of those that had plan B to frustrate nigerians and nigerias players through the ref.

Remember, current CAF chairman is from SA. But eventually they were all dissapointed. I dont trust them at all.

Divorce was @ d extreme for me. Got adolescent kids already. So I have to think about them first. Found out that she was having an affair. Not only that, but the timing really broke me. But she never cared and was busy frolicking with some dude until I found out and some other things even revealed itself that I wasn't even safe. Didn't tell anyone. But I didn't divorce for the sake of the kids. But she is just as useless as a P in psychology. She cannot run cos she is disadvantaged. All d evidences are in soft and hard copies. I have balanced up again and living my life to d fullest. I don't want to go low like her to keep other women. When I need Bleep, she serves on a plate with protection tho. She got only one option, which is suicide. My Next of kin is not even her. Everything has changed. I don't even eat from her pot.

Car Talk › Re: Car Problems Is Always Spiritual In Nature by Elxandre(m): 2:28am On Jan 23, 2024
sukkot:
When devil wants to punish you and destroy you and send you back to the village in poverty his first tool is to destroy the second biggest asset a man can ever have which is a car.

First of all a car is a vehicle that takes you from point A to point B just as your flesh is the vehicle that Carry’s your soul from point A to point B and so you and your car are the same thing. Vehicles. Your car is an extension of yourself and it brings much pleasure to some demons to destroy that vehicle and have you visiting mechanic everyday till you run out of money. What is money ? Money is also an extension of you and the more of it you have the higher your value in the spiritual realm and so the demon is trying to make you lose all your money so you will have no value in the spirit realm and by destroying your car and have you visiting mechanics till you go broke is one of the tools. I have seen millions of cases were people just abandon a car at mechanics place because they have run out of money and the problem persists

These demons have very strong frequencies that will fry some components in your car. This is how they destroy it. Or the frequencies move something out of place and you can never detect it till you have spent millions of Naira

Fortify yourself. It’s spiritual warfare out in deez mean streetz

And so anytime you start having car problems it means you have opened the door for some demons to come into your life and attack you. It’s a time to examine your life and ask God for forgiveness and do charity to cleanse that sin. They say charity covers a multitude of sins. Look for a beggar with child on the street and give her 500 Naira. That’s a universal ritual and a sacrifice. Then watch as your car starts working again. Maybe not almost immediately but the mechanic will then find the fault. Those mechanics are agents of devils or agents of angels
Is it village people that makes people buy Muranos or Range Rovers too? 😂

Volvo XC90 is a solid car damn! Took my 2007 unit that I got as Nigerian used from Valarinz sometime last year to Epe today from the mainland. Longest trips before this had been to Lafenwa, after Ayobo and Igbogbo, Ikorodu.
It has never disappointed me. I patted the dashboard as I got close to my street today and said "good boy".

Well, in spoken English, things will be different due to accents. Singaporeans have a different way of speaking. But in written English? Nigerians don't communicate correctly in it. Nigerians are the only ones I have seen use "borrow" instead of "lend". Even an elite like Iyin Aboyeji did it. I was stunned!

Nigerians must write IELTS/TOEFL whether they like it or not.

I have never read Americans or South Africans or Singaporeans or Ghanaians used "borrow" instead of "lend". If an elite Nigerian like Iyin can use "borrow" rather than "lend", then it is finished. None of those nationalities' elites used "borrow" rather than "lend". None of them also argue stoopidly that "English no be my papa language".
Is that the only example you can point to?
Americans and brits also write "would of" instead of "would have". Something Nigerians would never do. 🤷
