yinkeys: Moffi Bassey Dessers Dennis Ishaq Rafiu S. Faisal V. C. Mbaoma
These guys are new to the squad
If we ever play 3-5-2 The starters upfront would be iheanacho & Osihmen My prediction for next Afcon once we qualify You’d see. There’s no starter on this list besides Bassey Dts y i said 70percent...not 100percent,even some names u mentioned might not get invites again most especially d unconvincing home based players and would b replaced with d usual old faces |

COOL10: Honestly speaking, the boys played well in the 2nd halves of both matches. I wasn't expecting them to beat Ecuador, I just wanted them to play well with promise and they did just that.
They'll get better with time. Dis statement of dey will get better. With time sounds like a scam to me....70percent of dis team have been playing together for d past 7years,for aw long will dey keep rebuilding and get better? |

charlesemeka85: The Nigeria Football Federation have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze after his omission from the latest England roster announced by the English Football Association on Tuesday afternoon, allnigeriasoccer.com reports. Speculation was rife that the Eagles attacking midfielder was in serious contention to earn his first call-up to the Three Lion after his strong finish to the 2021-2022 season. And those rumours were fueled when manager Gareth Southgate was spotted at Goodison Park during Crystal Palace's 3-2 loss to Everton on Thursday, May 19. Eze gave a good account of himself in front of the watching Southgate, setting up the opening goal netted by Jean-Philippe Mateta. England summer fixtures will see them facing Hungary twice, Germany and Italy across ten days in the UEFA Nations League A group and Eze would have become cap-tied to his country of birth assuming he was invited and given minutes in any of the four matches. Eze, who was invited to train with the Super Eagles in 2017, played non-binding games for England U20s before becoming provisionally cap-tied to his country of birth at U21 level. Nigeria Football Federation boss Amaju Pinnick has held discussions with the former Queens Park Rangers dazzler over switching his international allegiance and turning out for the Nigeria national team but the player requested to be given time to make his decision, claiming he wants to focus on his club career. He won't play for us again.. D world cup appearance could av been a serious bait to lure him ,unfortunately we didn't make it.he would rada wait for england opportunity for Years hoping he would rep dem in d nearest future Dan to play for us..at d moment,we don't av anything interesting to lure top foreign born players to our ranks |

fabyom: This is just a friendly game. Not all the players will be available. I don't understand the bitterness.
All those home based, Azubukwe, Shehu even Musa will be dropped later.
Oshimen, Kelechi, Ndidi, Onyeka and Bonke are Integra member of the team. Aside osimhen and maybe ndidi ...everyoda person on super eagles list is not indispensable...d next coach coming if he is wise ,would make d team very unpredictable and competitive... Dt Ghana game shld be a lesson |

Danielnino00: How come Musa hasn't yet publicly announced his retirement from the national team? Didn't he say that the last AFCON would be his last with the team? Abi is he planning to play the AFCON qualifiers too? Not only musa...even balogun,ighalo..anyway not all Nigerian players announces deir retirement officially.. Some are done by not getting invites again, examples like ogu, onazi, echiejile and co ..so I am expecting same to be meted out to our old fringe super eagles players in d current squad |

Oasis001:

So some are Still missing franco German Ole Gunner Solksjaer on this Board? Super Eagles have been reduced to making Numbers at World Cup and Nation's Cup?
Rohr was in charge for 6 fuckin years ffs! What did we achieve with him? 3rd place at AFCON? Common..... this is Super Eagles of Nigeria we are talking about not Black Stars of Ghana.
Do we wanna become our noisy Neighbour? Do we wanna become History National Team? Sacking Rohr is a right Decision. Trusting Eguavoen to lead us to WC is absolutely wrong Decision cus he has showed us he's not capable.
Salisu Yusuf is tactically better than most indigenous Coaches. I am so happy Ike replaces that Failure called Alloy. Finidi? Hopefully he's gonna be a tactically sound Coach.... Time will tell. No mind our ppu..I don't even know what deir interest is concerning rohr..as worst as.eguavoen is...if I am still giving d chance to pick BTW rohr and eguaveon to lead eagles again.. I will pick the latter over and over again ...rohr bawo |

chrisooblog: One thing I've noticed about our Falcon teams over the years is we find it hard to retain possession especially against superior opposition. Our defence and goalkeeper can barely get a breather, because before we regroup at the back the opposition will already be bearing on our goal. Like the men's team the Falcons need more quality central midfielders like yesterday.
I don't know is it a problem of coaching, scouting or both? Why can't we produce half decent CMs? Same thing with our men ,seems holding possession for more Dan 2/3minutes is a crime in our national team tactics... I can't remember d last time our fans taunted our opponents with sounds like "hey hey hey" by d fans while holding possession for a long time |

mkrest: Yeah, but question is, why short list him knowing you won't pick him, why lead him on? And valverde on his part, should know where his huge wage demands will be met, did someone ill advice him to apply for the job? Egypt and south Africa would have been more positioned to meet his demands, not Nigeria We can afford anybody as far as I am concerned if we really want to , considering aw much our public officers loot our money, but den we already know where NFF is going, oda names dere are just 4 mere distraction of d public, dey don't want a public outcry of listing only paiseiro..we already know whom NFF want to engage |
