IDENNAA: I dont have time nonsense, oga. The issue I brought up should give you a cause for concern. Tribalism, nepotism and religious bigotry is one of the reasons why Nigeria is very backward and undeveloped and it should bother any sensible Nigerian. We dont need people making inflammatory tribal comments. If you see such comments condemn it and stop playing the ostrich. U know aw sensitive political issues are in dis our society and how we try as much as possible not to disscuss anything relating to local politics here, yet u will deliberately tag forgiveness from anoda thread to dis place so dt odas can join and pitch tent with u.what exactly do u want to gain.you av done dis twice but peeps on dis thread didn’t show interest, yet u keep igniting d same tactics I will ask again, what do u stand to gain? For us to know forgiveness is a tribal bigot? Ok we don know say him be bigot. ..,are u happy now? |

Danielnino00: Since when did comparing one player to another prove that they are on the same level? I know the comparisons you're referring to of course... The Iheanacho vs Mbappe comparison that took place in 2016/17 when both players were more or less on the same trajectory career wise..Also the Osimhen vs Haaland comparison wheere certain monikers listed reasons they feel Osimhen is better than Haaland... What else? Where's the world class tag??
It's been said here several times that the only Nigerian player that are above average or close to world class are Ndidi and Osimhen.. where's the lie?
Make una dey calm down o.. Salah and Mane that you used as a yardstick didnt become overnight success.. I daresay,if not for Klopp that had faith in them, they might not have turned out this good.. Salah was rejected at Chelsea and was churning out decent number in serie A.. Mane almost joined Man Utd... Go back to page 1 and read,ur answers are dere I can still recollect here someone said onyekuru is better Dan mbappe ,abi no b dis thread again and oda atrocious comparison |

komekn: I am not saying it's right, but the end justifies the means. The obsessive linkage between age and monetary value for football players is institutional.
African players are at a blatant disadvantage and this is one of the means to mitigate against this practice and give yourself a fighting chance..
Thats not to say age cheating is right. But age discrimination across the board with a good dose of racism, are also catalysts to the issue.
However, sometimes we African over do it.
I was at youth game for Manchester city FC , and there were two Congolese born players playing in the U13. They were destroying everybody.
They claimed to be 11but were bigger stronger than anybody else but in my opinion very minimum age they could be was 15 and even 16/17 very likely.
They will go far but when those English boys of 13 grow at 16 then that advantage will have been reduced if not overtaken. But at this stage they will already be in the system and even if they don't make first team.
These two Congolese boys might end up in the Championship getting £20k a week for the next 10 years, so it's still a successful career. Bro aw do u stream epl/European matches in uk? |

No one is close to dreaming of being on the level of Mbappe and Haaland. Those guys can potentially even beat Messi/Ronaldo records considering they are not even 24 yet and already on 200+ career goals. We know osimhen and oda Nigeria players comparison with haaland was based on patriotism (na our person) if osimhen and co were to b Ghanaians,I doubt if anybody here would compare both players or use dier names in d same sentence ....haaland is miles ahead of any of our strikers..Q.E.D |
