Lol. This man, did you even watched the match?
, see as you are praising Osimhen to high heaven shocked. I was just laughing while reading this your epistle. Or did I watched another match tongue. At a point I started dozing off sha cos Osimhen hardly even touched the ball. Did Napoli even get any channel in the match not to even mention penetration grin.
Take am easy bro. The only time Osimhen usually get the ball is when the keeper plays the ball inside from a goal kick spot, and in the most part of the match, Chelili wins the aerial battle. Nothing more. What those two center backs for Napoli did today, I doubt if koulibaly would have done anything different.
Leave our ppu make dem dey praise osimhen for "penetration" ,weda na because of penetration dem pay 81million dollars for grin grin

France had better strikers with better stats than Giroud yet Giroud got the spot. Giroud didn't have a single shot on target during the World Cup but he still played almost all their matches. I understand our wingers need to start scoring goals but replacing them just like that might not work out the way we want.
National team is different from club.
A player may score 20 goals for his club but struggles to score 1 goals for his national team.
Same giroud u quoted failed to av one single shot on target @ d last worldcup despite starting all d 90mins for France in d tourney.. If not 4 benzema goof with Deschamps, will giroud even start? smiley

Me sef, I don't know what happened in between. Remember that he scored 2 Hattricks in pre season? And he was fairly good prior to the injury. Anyway, let's keep our faith Alive even the likes of drogba didn't had the best 1st season
He scored hatricks against serie D and C teams.. So I wasn't moved to conclude dt his first season will end up on a very high note by scoring lot of goals; wc many did here. not too surprised anyways smiley

Everybody expects Napoli to win all their games because osimhen plays there as if Italian teams are bad or what ,even psg self no Dey win all games again for farmers league

The moment Napoli fail to win against a team like Atlanta they label them Poor immediately

I laughed when ppu were predicting 20 something goals for osimhen in his first season..I was like eeh,na so goals scoring easy for serie A..I just laff dem;(first season o) grin grin

I predicted 13goals for osimhen in his first season,if he could meet up to dt,den he has done extremely well, but I am afraid with d way things later churned out for him due to lengthy injury lay off and co..he might not even score up to double digit in all competition dis season

Kalu is also in form. Chuks was also in form before his groin injury.

Dennis is in form too. An Incoming Lookman is also in form.

It's only Moses Simon that I would say isn't in such form but then that means Nwakaeme >>> Simon for you in the next list right ? grin

Also it means Musa, the captain have to make way to accommodate Nwakaeme.

Like I already said before... Nwakaeme will only be considered again for another SE shot if few of our other options go missing through suspension or injury. It's that simple.
When majority of dem were out of form last season aside simon and nwakaeme was breaking personal/club records in Turkey.. Was rohrbish in coma? smiley

People are happy for Henry now only because of the hard time he had at Monaco. That's the reason for the attention he gets now.
Nwakaeme has been scoring and assisting in the Super Lig but has Rohr bothered to look his way? No.
Is it because the lad is not good? I don't think so. It just has to do with the fact Rohr will rather pick other wingers ahead of him plus he doesn't really fancy Turkey.

Onyekuru has been struggling to see game time of late at Monaco. Did Rohr ever consider him too? No.

He took him to the Afcon in 2019 but how many games did he even play? Haven't anyone realised that it looks like no matter what Henry does, that Rohr doesn't rate him as much.

Will Rohr consider him now that he is banging it for Gala in Turkey? Lol... Let the list come out and you will be surprised.

Truth is one of Henry or Nwakaeme will only make it if the wing options are limited due to injury and other unavailability reasons.

And I just told you Etebo is the only one Rohr will call from Turkey when our options are all available in all positions, so why asking where he plays? Lol... The statement already answered you.

But again, consider that Etebo had already established himself in Rohr's set-up even before his latest Gala move so that explains why he would likely get invited despite starring for Gala in same Turkey that Rohr doesn't really rate.

As for the Championship, the reason why Ejaria is being considered now is because he comes into a department where we clearly need more options. The Midfield.

I am only pointing out the reality in Rohr's selections because I have long known from a source that the man just doesn't seem to rate the Turkish League. So it's not like I'm even defending it. It's just me showing you the reality of Rohr's ways.

Personally, I also don't rate Turkey in general well enough but I do rate the Top 4 sides in Turkey well. Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Trabzonspor. Maybe by extension to a fifth, Basaksehir.

But Rohr doesn't seem to give a damn about any at all. Lol

And truthfully when you look at the wing options we have in better quality leagues than Turkey, you would probably cut Rohr some slack. Kalu, Chukwueze, Simon, Dennis, Lookman (Incoming), Ejuke are a handful to select from already. There is also upcoming Mukairu in Belgium. And don't forget Captain Musa... who has long proven himself in the team despite being in Saudi Arabia as recently as 2020.

So it's just the reality.
U truly knw aw rohr thinks and work but in reality ,dis nwakaema guy has been churning out better stats dan d wingers u mentioned in ur submission... If u look at most of dis guys stat most especially kalu..its more like a gk stat, not encouraging @ all..I doubt if d guy has notched up to 10goals in d last three season yet he gets d nod ahead of nwakaema..although once in a wyle he pulls d magic

What I am saying in a nutshell is,looking @ oda wingers stat with nwakaeme own,I can't really rap my head around his constant neglect over odas...deir stat in deir respective clubs shldnt warrant rohr snubbing him since deir stat are not convincing at all.a player performing well in turkey shld b able to showcase himself in eagles set up considering d types of wingers we parade.

At bolded.... I hope you know you are exaggerating because Nigeria actually will make Top 10 in the world when it comes to Strikers Depth. Perhaps Basco took it a little too far saying Top 5 in terms of depth at the Striker/CF position and but he wasn't all that off point.

For Africa, no other nation comes close. Nigeria is easily #1 in Africa. No nation in Asia (AFC) or Oceania (OFC) comes close. Same as in the whole of Concacaf.
The only teams with more depth than Nigeria come from Conmebol and UEFA and they won't be more than 9 at worst.

If anyone wants proof, give me time and I will drop the comparative lists.

Now this doesn't mean we are World class. Nope. We aren't. This is just about the #9 role. And truly we have depth in this role.
In ur spare time...let us c ur list cool

A Super Eagles Striking options list without Onuachu is like a list of guns without AK47 or F-2000.

Osimhen remains our best #9 and for good reasons too... It's only injury + Covid that slowed down his season for now but Onuachu is our hottest and most in-form assassin in Europe. Sitting Second in the European Golden Shoe rankings no be bread and butter my people. Onuachu needs to be taken more seriously in here.
