GoddyOra: All these arguments here about nigerian youngsters being age cheats is inconsequential IMO. A 25yrs old claiming 16yrs to gain entry into our U-17 team no concern me as long as he delivers the expected results. At the end when his mates (football age) are still balling at 30yrs+, baba would be almost 40 and worn out, a reason why we hardly see Nigerian born players at 35yrs in top level football.
However make we no dey try defend an age cheat like uzoho when it is very obvious he isn't whatever age he claims. A 16yrs old Nigerian player in our U-17 team would be 175cm tall, in the next 5-8 years same player is still 175cm. For me height/growth is the major determinate for an age cheat because scientifically a normal male should encounter at least one growth phase between 16-20 before growth ceases, whereas almost all our U-17s claiming 16/17 no dey gree tall pass their height indicating they weren't anywhere close to the claimed age.
Make we dey talk truth, every OAU student know a certain part 4 student (star player aka aguero) that was selected as a midfielder in our recent U-17 team (2019) and baba passed MRI?. How is it possible that a 16 yo is through with 400L before being called up to the team?. Last last 95% of every player na age cheat even osimhen self, but I no fit judge them because na the best and only way to enter europe for them (young age). Even though I don't really believe in most Nigerian players age..whether MRI or not But dt osimhen part...I believe his age..he looks so young.. A reporter too went to his school in Lagos and interviewed d principal... She spoke much abt osimhen(game prefect) and all..at least dt one is traceable |

Danielnino00: @ bolded 1... Are u referring to Uzoho? He is listed as 1.96m tall on Wikipedia and transfer market.. U can drop a picture of him with the u-17 and let's compare with his recent pictures...
@ bolded 2... You obviously didn't watch our last 3 sets of u-17 very well... Go bcak and watch the 2013 and 2015 set very well... Was Iheanacho 6 ft tall in 2013? What about Osimhen??
@ bolded 3... Maybe u should mention the player's name.... I don't recall any midfielder nicknamed Aguero in the last u-17 set.. @bolded 3...d poster was talking abt akinkumi amoo I posted a pic of his back.den in school in his first year @ oau But tbaba1234 said he wasn't d one, |

He is the best offensive full back, we have at the moment. Definitely an upgrade on Jamilu.
His defending sometimes can be a weakness. But dt zaidu clips I watched on this thread wasn't really dt convincing. Maybe d highlight didn't do d necessary justice |

A lot of Nigerians have played in bigger and better teams than that club and have done amazingly well , so spare be the bs of Porto is one kind Barca that it takes extraordinary talent to excel at. komekn: Ogenyi Onazi one time core player for the SE midfield has just signed a three year contract with Crotone.
Onazi is only 27 and has a lot of football left in him and a lot to offer the SE if he can capture his previous form.
However, there has been NEAR SILENCE almost embarrassing silence. But why ❓
No celebration or accolades and or the obligatory praise singing. Just near silence.
Onazi on form is an excellent player admittedly the last few years he has not been outstanding. Nonetheless, l think this is GREAT NEWS for the SE. He belongs to d "OLD LEGS" according to d majority |

Melvinity: Best legs wins trophies. Let's drop sentiment aside. We need Saka. This kid can be deployed as an AM. He has good vision. Maybe he is not dribbling as many typical Nigerian would want, but there is more to football than looking at flair of a player. I for one, I'd love to see Saka. But if he chose 3lions over us, so be it. It seems deres now a phobia for prospective Nigerian players plying deir trade in big elite clubs B4 na odion and moses not too gud for eagles ,now saka is not gud also for eagles , and if we look @ d players we av dt we tag as better"talents",u hear club names like twente, pardeborn, bursaspor etc(jaw breaking names) Telling us to avoid players dt rub shoulders to shoulders with "world class talents" in andrews voice, everyday for twente, bursaspor players |

Danielnino00: You are talking funny...
No serious person will rate a player as world class or average based on how many trophies they won... Coman hasn't even scored up to 50 professional career goals.. How much effort did he even put into winning the trophies?
Individual performances matter a lot... that's define a player..winning trophy is more of a tea effort than an individual player effort.. Somebody like Totti didn't win many trophies throughout his career but is easily one of the best players of his generation..thats world class with little trophy.
Of course, I know this post was targeted at Ndidi.. Ode...me no dey write anything against any player in particular And dt totti u mentioned made ur comment far from truth ...someone dt won d world cup(winning a world cup trophy is enough in ones career )...u think say world cup trophy na beans |
