These are amazing statistics.

Why because they prove what we have seen on the ground.

Tega l have described as the complete midfielder, an ability to tackle and attack which is very rare as well as control the game with his vision and passing range.

He also has stupendous stamina but also the physicality to deal with anything.

He can be a DM then he becomes a CM then he turns into AM all in the same game.

In his current form there are few players comparable in the context of Nigeria. If he gets to the EPL and he maintains this level of consistent perfomance. Then he will be in the top level.

Nigeria should cap him NOW no need to wait.
Go and invite him with ur own list undecided undecided

The moniker is Zayyadidris.

And he gave me a follow yesterday on twitter by the name Ziad Idris.

Naijafootballers quoted him as greatziad ans as the person who compiled the work. Perhaps when he sees this, he will come forward and explain himself.

Which right?

He us very wrong?

How can someone compare Yobo and guardiola?

Guardiola that has continental pro license?

Which qualification does yobo have?

Na wa for some people opinion sha

Cc elyte89
Aw does my assertion looks like comparison... And I knw say ur assimilation rate high grin..y u kan dey reason like one popular moniker here...I only cleared d wrong notion mostob painted dt been a defensive player in ur career automatically means dt if such a player decided to pursue a career as a coach any team he handles will b a low scoring side
Dt was y I brought in Guardiola as an example,dt he was DMF during his playing days, but as a coach ,all d teams he has handled scores a lot of goals...

And if u don't understand dis simple analogy ,give ur phone to someone beside u to explain my position better..I Neva compared yobo with Guardiola cool

Rohr is a good team manager but he is not that good tactically. When you find a perfect tools for something, and this tool has a shortcoming, you don't throw the tool away...you find a way to neutralize its shortcoming. This is a perfect illustration of Rohr. I admit I do get frustrated with his conservative football at times . NFF was supposed to hire somebody with vast knowledge in attacking football to balance the equation but who did we get?. ... YOBO. Dude is even a DEFENDER.
Dt doesn't mean..been a defender as a player doesn't mean u won't b good TACTICALLY (IN THEGOODJOE VOICE) going forward as a coach,we all knw guardiola was DMF during his playing days but as a coach his teams so far scores a lot of goals...maybe dt was d reason yobo was employed grin

I hope the NFF won't be myopic as many of us here Nigeria fans no dey chill at all
Wetin give you the assurance that the next coach will win AFcon for us .
Team development takes time it a very long process but it is established then you will be formidable for decades.
Oga dts d same thing we av been saying since 2014! Rebuild rebuild...its getting worse..for aw long are we going to rebuild..anything short of afcon cup in 2022..shld lead to rohr sack..period..i won't even think twice if I am at d helms of affair ...so under d pretence of rebuild and future. ....na so we go reach 2026 ,nothing to show for it..with dis present materials,we re ripe for an afcon glory and our usual 2nd round place in world cup(though I pray we surpass dt feat in 2022 cool)

I disagree with this point
There is no difference between the era of rohr and other local coaches Nigeria is always blessed with talents and moreover which talent are you talking about lemme give you some of this players throwback
Kalu-Genk(Belgium)
Moses (Belgium) .
Victor a bench warmer in Chelsea
Osihmen Wolfsburg team b
Chuks Villarreal B
Ndidi - Belgian club
Ekong one small club in eredivise
Balogun - bench warmer in Mainz
Then we had no goalkeeper
Rohr work hard tiredness to make such these players achieve their full potential by making it compulsory for the players to have regular playing time this actually ginger the player to be able for play very well just to earn national team invitations and this really expose the players to scout who saw their potential and moved them to Europe top 5 league it were a local coach in charge of SE osihmen would have been invited while in Wolfsburg and he won't really see the need to move to Belgium league but rohr make it compulsory for osihmen to move to Belgium now Napoli rohr policy really improve this player immensely I remember during the time of local coaches a player may not kick the ball for months and will still be invited is such invitation based on merit ?? Hell no !!!! Rome wasn't build in a day. Football is not just about trophy ( though it important ) but youth development is importanter .
I pray the sport ministry see the great future ahead of us I'm not tipping rohr to win the next afcon or get to the quarter final of the WC yet but if he should continue in this pattern am damn sure Nigeria will be contending for the world cup in the future .
No future.. Its now or Neva..rohr will b 5years on d job..if he can't win d nations cup..he shld b SACKED!.. DT FUTURE excuse doesn't holds water again, make una no dey use future bobo us smiley

I stand firmly with what Odegbami is saying. You cant tell me out of all qualified Nigerians coaches and the rest of qualified persons from other African countries we cant find a coach from the continent who understands our football mentality. Its high time we stop giving these Europeans chances to ridicule us. Slavery is over yet we are still hiring these white men thinking they have some magic wand.

NFA should also give scholarships to interested retired super eagles player as a reward for their service. We need to invest in our football because even if a black man is the smartest coach the whites will never employ him , simply because they feel you are inferior to them.
Well u maybe right ,however my only issue with African coaches most especially our own coaches is OBVIOUS BIASED PLAYERS SELECTION, but technical wise, rohr is not better Dan d likes of sia1,amunike etc

Who no get weakness ?

Even the legendary Sergio B have weakness even short man devil for chelshit
D only thing stopping him from been world class is trophy/personal laurels, dis is where Mikel edges him out,I will categorize ndidi as a TOP TACTICAL player(in TheGoodjoe voice cool)...in a nutshell he needs to leave dt club and go to where he can win trophies/personal recognized awards

Some people may think it's no big deal, but stuffs like this don't usually go down well with the fans.. especially when it concerns an iconic figure at the club.

I remember around 2009, during one of Liverpool's Hillisbrough pre match service, Charles Itandje was caught on camera laughing!
The backlash he received from the fans, staffs and media was so serious that his apologies weren't accepted..
He never kicked a ball for any of Liverpool's team until he left...

I think it's high time we restricted some posts not covering Nigerian players and the Super Eagles as a whole. If a post has absolutely no link to what this thread stands for, it better one thinks twice before posting it.

This is not the Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal or Man City thread. We have those threads elsewhere in the Sports section. If you need help getting there, I can show you the way. The fact that some convos can take us along those lines sometimes doesn't mean we should make it a norm to post some isolated unrelated post that has nothing to do with the Super Eagles or Nigerian Players.

Let's respect the title of this thread or I might have to report some posts for derailing. Thank you.
