Even so,what's so bad in wishing our players joined certain clubs? Let me delve into d issue of world class stuff,as for me any player to b considered a world class player must possess at least 2 out of this three areas I am abt to say 1...d player must b consistent in terms of performance on and off d field in a well known league,(especially d top 5ive leagues we have) 2...d player MUST HAVE at least some few personal known awards/accolades whether in his club team, league or national awards yearly and also team trophy(ies) in his cabinet to show for his consistency(performance) 3....d player must at least always make d 1st -40 ballon d'or /FIFA player of d year nomination list, or d 1st- 10 continental player of d year award nomination list YEARLY; dis is a sign dt u re reckoned with in d world of football ...... So any player dt doesn't possess @ least 2 out of d 3 aforementioned point to me,its not a world class player yet as far as I am concerned..dts y I only considered "MIKEL" has d only WORLD CLASS PLAYER WE HAD IN SUPER EAGLES during his time. |

solonnachi: Tammy Abraham's reasons for choosing England over Nigeria 1. England has more chances at the world cup which Nigeria does not 2. He can't sing the Nigerian national anthem 3. EURO is better than AFCON 4. He feels more English than Nigerian .
This is the height of disrespect for a nation and continent. I pray he keeps roasting on the England bench when SE reach the semis of world cup 2022 that's if he's selected to play for England at the world cup. I don't really blame him, I blame Pinnick for having picnic and taking pictures with him even promising him a place in SE. U don't wish a man bad cos of his/her decision... His decision for not playing with us hasn't affected u in anyway,so y re praying against his success ? |

I will pick dt game against Spain...it was MIKELS EFFORT and d few oda squad members on dt pitch Showed d world dt day dt SPAIN ARE NOT INVINCIBLE.. DEY WERE VERY BEATABLE,if not for our wasteful strikers missing glaring chances Mikel created couple with Mikels miss..we could av drawn d game @ least...I am sure it was dis game DT gave Brazil little hint dt spain can be destroyed..prior to dt game Spain only lost one game in SA 2010,from 2008-2013(dey lost only one game)..dey were favorite |

Danielnino00: I disagree . Ighalo was misfiring after that goal against Cameroon at the WCQ.. And once Osimhen moved to Charleoi,he was in contention for a spot in the CF role... Rohr just preferred Ighalo to him .
Even right now,Rohr has already said he want Ighalo back to the team... We have players who can play the CF role and are yet to get their chances, but Rohr still want Ighalo back..
If Ighalo returns to the national team today and Osimhen is benched for him,it won't be because he is better..it's because Rohr prefers him.. oga it remains a bad analogy, it took u several hours to respond to my post thinking of what u right still u came up with nothing So u expected a rohr to give osimhen a chance in d super eagles set up when he's still finding his feet in his career path @ chaleroi over already established players in super eagles set up with d likes of ighalo, nacho and co, .I maintain my stand when ighalo was playing for d national team, osimhen was not even in d picture let alone of comparing both I could remember on dis thread den when we compare ighalo and nacho.....osimhen was never in d pictureI was in Iggy camp wyle some where in nachos camp even though both strikers where misfiring den ...so in a nutshell.. Ighalo retired, osimhen took over |

TheSuperNerd: He indeed was the Weapon of Mass Destruction. He had a very high ceiling but just didn't reach those super heights. He had a very decent career for us and at club level but he could have been much much more. The talent was there. He could have been world class. In all, Martins was a real baller and one of the few players of that Mid-late 2000s era and early 2010s that I looked to for the Super Eagles when it came to tight games and tight corners. He was always one goal or one burst of lightening pace or super turn away from turning things around. Martins greatest undoing was d super eagles not qualifying for 2006 worldcup..he was @ his peak den,dt tournament could av showcased him a bit @ d world stage even though he won't play much games (4games max) |

jihday: Wait o, in the 90s and early 2000s Wenger was one of the best coaches in the world, a very technical one, this drop deep and play from the wing you mentioned wenger did it with Henry and Dennis Bergkamp but the same Wenger hardly gave Kanu adequate game time, turned him to super sub or do you think wenger was a fool for always benching him? He was soaking up d knowledge on d bench |

TheGoodJoe: That is the point of modern day strikers. It is not about leading the strike line but bringing them to play. We have less creative attack midfielders because it is now a space controlled by creative strikers.
Below is a major requirement of modern day Hitmen. Tell me who you would prefer on the ball in these situations. Kanu or Yekini.
Below are Lewandowski and Haaland Yekini has d bodyframe to do dis,not even kanu |

TheGoodJoe: Who is better than Babayaro? I will like to know who you think is a better left back than Babayaro.
No one doubts Yekini's prowess but in the modern game today, most of the strikers, from Aguero, Benzema, Firmino, Suarez, Lewandowski etc need to have the ability to play as a creative attack midfielder.
Forget about Bias, Yekini does not have that ability. Yekini is not also the kind of striker to drop into pockets of spaces in the wings to give passes. Sorry but Kanu trumps Yekini hands down when it concerns this. Pocket of space ko,pocket of snacks ni,we re talking abt a striker dt can guarantee u at least a GOAL IN A MATCH, u re bringing kanu into it...forget all those qualities u mentioned dere,b4 u start shouting soak up knowledge from vangaal and Wenger,d primary aim of a striker is to score/guarantee u goals anytime any day,I would even put an aghahowa/martins b4 KANU in no 9 position let alone of YEKING |

I don't know about Ibraheem Jabaar's next move for now. And yes he is a legit baller. Really technical. But I do know that Peter Olawale is OGC Nice-bound. As you know already, Samson Tijani is RB Salzburg-bound (might begin with FC Liefering or Salzburg II). Amoo Akinkunmi is Hammarby bound. And the most selfish talent "on-field" of the lot, Olakunle Olusegun seems to be bound for Reims.
