TheSuperNerd: The Journos are just taking Rohr's words out of context. Anyone who watched the Rohr interview with Colin Udoh on IG live will see that he only said that (We are not the best team in Africa) to show that winning the Afcon won't be a walk in the park. Rohr never said we cannot or will not win the Afcon.
As usual, many will fall for this. It's just clickbait. I know Rohr have used the "young team" excuse before at Russia 2018 where we were the youngest side at the WC and at Afcon 2019 where we were the second youngest side at the Afcon but to be fair to him as regards that interview, he did acknowledge that we should try to win the Afcon and also make a fine impact at the WC.
I watched the interview and have recordings of it. Drop d interview na |

TheGoodJoe: Amunike is a fantastic candidate. I can bet even those in the upper Chambers of the NFF know because of his time in charge with the u17 and U20. Even though the U20 team did not qualify, they only lost one game in about 50 matches, both competitive and friendly. It was sad that the only game they lost (due to poor support from the NFF and awful pitch that hindered their game play) caused them the qualification.
We have not had a side well coached as that in a long time. Amunike showed dedication and passion to that team. Even at the U17 World Cup, there was praise in Amunike's invention which was new to the game by the FIFA technical Committee. Well,if not for d bribery stuff, salisu yussuf is d best to handle dis team,he is also sound and he has been in dis team for a very long time ,so he understand d team chemistry and atmosphere |

5inchdick: You seem to forget they both had to get players who'd do that, a luxury one can't afford in a national team like the Super Eagles. The kind of players we claim to have do not look like they'll concede less, take the Lesotho game for example. As there are fans who prefer attacking football, there plenty of fans like me who'd prefer the results are gotten no matter what method. I'd prefer we won a top team while defending to losing ridiculously because I want to play attacking sexy football. National team is not Clubside. Its simple...we over estimate our team as a whole, not knowing dt u can't give what u don't av |

charlesemeka85: Club Brugge striker Emmanuel Dennis admits he's in regular contact with Aston Villa pair Wesley Moraes and Marvelous Nakamba.
Both players left Brugge to join Villa in the Premier League last summer after Dean Smith's side were promoted.
"Nakamba is like my brother so we talk, and with Wesley also, we make jokes," Dennis told Sky Sports.
"I'll say 'how is it over there?', and they always say, 'this place is difficult, they like to gym all the time', and I say 'this is the Premier League my friend, you have to work'."
Dennis has opened the door for a potential transfer, saying: "I like challenges. I've been here for three years. My focus right now is I have one more game this season - the Cup Final - which I want to win, that's really important to me.
"After then, we'll see what happens, you never know. 'Replacing Aubameyang With Dennis Is Like Going From iPhone To Nokia 3210' - Club Brugge Striker Criticized FOX Sports reporter James Dodd does not think Emmanuel Dennis can step into the shoes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should the Gabon international depart Arsenal in the upcoming transfer window. Speculation is rife that Aubameyang could move on to pastures new this summer as he will enter the final twelve months of his contract in July and several big teams in Europe are monitoring his situation. Though Dennis and Aubameyang share some similarities as they are both pacy and capable of being deployed as a winger or striker, the main difference between them is that the Gabonese is a goal poacher extraordinaire, with 61 goals to his name since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium in January 2018. Dodd likened Dennis replacing Aubameyang to swapping your iPhone for a Nokia 3210, a huge criticism of the young Nigerian, despite the Super Eagles rising star having a better scoring record than the Arsenal captain at the same age. Aubameyang found the back of the net 32 times before celebrating his 23rd birthday, while the 22-year-old Dennis has tallied 34 career goals across four seasons. "If Aubameyang were to be replaced by Club Brugge's Emmanuel Dennis it'd be like going from an iPhone to a Nokia 3210," Dodd posted on Twitter. "Haven't seen loads of him but from what I saw in the Champions League this year...his second touch was a tackle! Ifeanyi Emmanuel |
