I think a lot of people judge a team based on just on the ball display. Nacho could not handle the pressure from the fast Argentines but off the ball, Nacho was a machine. I earlier pointed out how Nacho tracked an Argentine player from the defence of the Argentines to our defence.

He put in a lot of effort to keep the Argentines under pressure. If people look from this perspective, they will understand the important work the young man put in yesterday.

After rewatching our win against Iceland many times, especially FIFA.com highlight, I can safely say Ighalo was not begging to come on. He was already warming up before the goal. After the goal, he asked if he was still NEEDED or if the coach wanted to defend the 2 goals, in which case he wouldnt need to increase his warm up tempo.

No coach with a whiff of intelligence in his brain will tell Musa to pass the ball in that situation next time.

If that situation plays out a million times Musa should play that ball and not pass to anybody. Did you not see him pause for a fraction of a second to pick his angle before shooting? Do you know that that was a 'moment'? Footballers can sense a goal moment and that was one!
