All flights cancelled and some of the players haven't even arrived. Like I said from the beginning, it does not look like we are making it to the world cup. SA stands a better chance.

To conclude my thoughts on Finidi statements regarding how unimportant formations are to winning, and players making the decision as when to attack or defend, reveals an intent on doing very little work, leaving his duties entirely on the players to craft out their own means of delivering results.
U for begin ur statement with I am here to convince and not to confuse you on finidi statements dt ………………..

EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea advancing in talks and closing in on deal to sign Tosin Adarabioyo as free agent from Fulham, almost there!

Newcastle have been working on Tosin deal for weeks but Chelsea are favorites, still cautious until it’s sealed.

Tosin could be first signing for Enzo Maresca

This Finidi guy is unserious. Frank Onyeka will still withdraw. It never made any sense naming Chuks in that list at all. We have Philip Otele doing well but you decided to name an injured Chuks instead.
Bro I believe all dis late call ups are his real intent …na because of una ,make am call dem unfit chukwueze, and oda regular names we fans would like to c …it’s obvious he tried to please d fans also cos I am sure if he had called up all dese names earlier ,80percent of d fans would call for his head for introducing too many new players most especially d local ones ahead of crucial games

I still believe in finidi though 😎

TheGoodJoe:
Yeah. You made me go to reread to get his point.

Finidi is not saying tactics are not important. He is actually saying tactical awareness is more important. I think it was the choice of words that caused the confusion.

"My philosophy is to win. For me, formation is not that important, because if players interpret when to attack and when to defend and do it well, there won’t be problems."

He is saying My philosophy is to win. Formations are not as important as players interpreting when to attack and defend. If they get this aspect right, we won't have problems.

Meaning if they know all the formations and can't interpret their roles based on tactical awareness, we would still have problems.

Sounds interesting and I will be watching closely.
But but ….I am still not convinced about him not soaking up knowledge from la masia and guardiola 😀😃😄😁😁😆😆😁😄😃😄😁😆😁😄😃😃😁😁😁😆😁😃😃

He said it, seen the video. This is probably the 3rd Nigerian coach saying this the last 1 year. First Ladan Bosso, then Finidi George now Manu Garba. It begs the question, is this systemic? Does this reflect the philosophical bedrock of the NIS?

Very concerning
Finidi george didn’t say formations are not important na…where una Dey c dis infos sef

That means Ghana might still qualify if CAF increase the number of slots. We have quality in the West African region. CAF should please scrap off this nonsense zonal qualification process.

which best attacking option?
no dey mind people where no always dey tired of hyping.
we only have one striker proven in super eagles currently and one winger, the rest are either not dependable or not proven.

The game against SA will difficult, we will be lucky to come with a slim win or a draw.
but against Benin, if we can't win that comfortably with the players available, we may not qualify.
I will still stand on us beating South Africa 🇿🇦…na dt Benin 🇧🇯 match no sure for us 😎

He has imposing body that coaches love to see, very calm and skillful but from AM to DM limited his games.

I don't know why Sani Keita was picked ahead of Seyi Olofinjana for 2010 WC cuz Seyi was far better even as DM.We talked about this recently and said he regretted not making it and what made it painful was that he deserved a spot.
D best match I was really impressed played by Olofin was against France 🇫🇷,where we defeated dem 1-0 ,goal scored by akpala

Osimhen will remain in Napoli next season. No offer yet!

No wonder Napoli President dey vex for Victor in one of his intterview! lol!
Agreed to pay Vic 10m annually with the hope of getting 120m in return. Huge gamble that might not pay off.

Osimhen will get 20m in two years and leave for free next summer! lol

He thought he is smart rejecting several offers for Vic last summer now offer don dry up. lol!
Many top teams spent big on strikers last summer and not willing to spend a lot on another this summer!

He has been played by a Naija boy!
Dey re just waiting if he would reduce d guy price…normally osimhen no suppose pass £80-90million
