What is Buhari waiting for to remove Kemi Adeosun?

She lacks the experience it would take to take Nigeria out of recession..

The mistake of giving her such an obviously "too heavy" office has been made but Buhari should be humble enough to seek capable hands to replace her.

She may mean well but she's obviously too inexperienced for that office.

Why can't Buhari drop his pride and hatred aside and shop for a capable hand even if it means an igboman or woman?

I never see this kind one before..

It is indeed better to keep quiet and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and erase all doubts.
the significance is obvious. people who share the Biafran views here are often dismissed as the "ipobs" and so she wants to make it clear that she's Yoruba even with though she's sharing the Biafran view
PoliticsRe: Biafra/IPOB What Exactly Is The Fear Of The Fed.govt.? by EmekaMD(m):
She asked what is the federal government afraid for, not why are the Yorubas against the Biafran struggle.

I suggest u wait until she asks why the Yorubas are against the struggle before giving ur reason (that Kanu was using hate speeches on the Yorubas)

Meanwhile u can take the "backseat" and wait for people who have something more meaningful to say..

I love the kind of competition between the SE and the SW; it's a healthy one..

Let's keep challenging each other to do better. It's healthy for us all..

I stopped reading the moment you started talking about Igbo states and cut off points. there are at most 10 northers in NNPC executives. you wan to tell me all those northerners are not qualified? as long as they are qualified let's forget tribal sentiments and allow things play out first. if they fail in their line of duty then we can call for their removal. the DSS was dominated by southerners under GEJ yet no one cried blue murder except when APC data centers were raided. stop the tribal hate
if u hate to read that u cannot read beyond a page but then u want to make a generalized opinion then I have no point making a case with u.

So again I disagree with Buhari because he doesn't believe in meritocrasy.
And don't tell me I shouldn't question him because his actions and inactions affects me as well as every other Nigerian

you are the brainless child. must insult before you pass your points across? the eagles were selected based on merit and they performed. at least 5 of the starting 11 are from the SE and only 1 is from the north. why can't the same principle be applied to NNPC? the NNPC is doing OK without the federal character principle. if you believe keshi and the foreign coach selected the ibo dominated eagles based on merit without federal character why can't the same logic be applied to NNPC and DSS?

get a life please and don't insult before you spew your jaundiced opinion next time
this is the point of my argument with u..
Nigeria is the way it is because any nation that refuses to use its first eleven but insist on pushing mediocrity forward shall remain underdeveloped..

Igbo States have the highest cut off points for any level of education beginning from Primary Schools to University level.

In addition, Igbos have the highest number of graduates, Masters degree holders, Doctorate degree holders and also the highest number of professors. Literacy in Igboland is above 90%, peaking in Imo state with 96.4%.

Despite, these intimidating characteristics, Igbos are rarely found in positions of authority to turnaround Nigeria..

Igbos dominate list of Nigeria businessmen and industrialists. Igbos have 80% of registered businesses in Nigeria Corporate Affairs Commission yet Igbo opinions are not sought on improving Nigeria economy as it plummets to all time low.

The only area where Nigerians often get it right is football. because of our foreign coaches meritocracy rides above mediocrity.

In the atmosphere that there are over 10,000 Nigeria internationals with about 80% of them as Igbo, it is natural that first team shirts go to mostly Igbo footballers. This policy of excellence has pivoted the Super Eagles to leadership position in Africa and admirable position in the world. Nigeria is made proud by great Igbo Footballers like Jay Jay Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo, Sunday Ogochukwu Oliseh, Christian Chukwu, Emmanuel Okala, Iheanacho, Mikel Obi to name a few.

The Igbo excellence was once again expressed when an Igbo dominated Super Eagles beat Cameroun 4-0 to the joy of all Nigerians at the US Stadium.

It is widely known, that if Igbos are courted in other areas of Nigeria life especially leadership and decision taking that Nigeria shall be pivoted to positions of international pride and acclaim. Many say that the Igbos are capable of reversing the debilitating effects of imperialism and restoring the lost glory of Africa.

Will Nigeria and indeed Africa clinch to the Igbo fast - track of national /continental development or should we continue in our negligence of the black Jews of the world?

Victor Wilberforce
is a critical thinker and a social engineer.

Imagine if the super eagles had jettisoned their first and most qualified eleven (in crucial match )and then come back after they've been beaten mercilessly to started telling us that we've all failed, when infact they deliberately refused to give the chance to the people who has the pedigree to do it.

Mor0nkiri is just being clever by half.

in that eagles squad the only northerner is Ahmed musa.
there was a single Yoruba player, ekong from CRS and Moses from Edo state. all other 8-10 players (are from the south east). I guess we can also call them Biafran eagles.

Yes Buhari's appointments have been lopsided. But this federal character thing will only keep pulling us back.

if we want to continue using federal Character let's make sure when the eagles are playing we have

-2 sw players, 2nw players, 2 se players, 2 Ss players, 2NC players at least on the pitch at all times.
- if a player from any region gets injured or has to be substituted then someone from his region must replace him
- if there is no one from his region them let him remain on the field.

that's how dumb federal principle is
that's not the point u brainless child!!

The point here is that Buhari is known to favor his people even though most of his appointments have proven to be unqualified.

The case of super eagles is this , yes I agree most of them are from the SE but are they the most qualified (at least by the judgement of the coach and the Nigerian people)?. The answer is yes!!

So u see.. people like me do not blame Buhari because his appointments are from the North, I blame him cos it's obvious those people he chose are the least qualified (it's evident in the performances of his administration).

Then why can't he give the chance to the people who can deliver? Is he sacrificing merit on the altar of nepotism? The answer is yes!!

If President Buharis Northern filled administration can do half of what the super eagles southeasteners filled has done then I'd not be here arguing with u.

I'm very much against the federal character thing (or call it quota system) but you have to vindicate ur choices with ur performances.

Anambra Poll: Non-natives adopt APC candidate, Nwoye
— 2nd September 2017
Ahead of the November 18 governorship poll in Anambra State, the candidature of Hon. Tony Nwoye of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has received a major boost following his endorsement by non-indigenes in the state.
Throwing their weight behind the APC’s candidate, secretary of Non-Indigenes Forum (NIF) , Prince Leke Oladunni, who is also a mecrchant, extolled the virtues of Hon. Nwoye, adding that he has the pedigree to govern the state.
Speaking on Saturday with a cross-section of journalists in Awka, Oladunni said,”most of us having lived in Awka for over two decades, understand the challenges facing the state and we strongly believe that Hon. Nwoye has the capacity to make life meaningful for indigenes and residents of the state.
“The APC candidate is a detrabilized Nigerian and as such he will continue to enjoy the support of all ethic groups in the state.
“With the APC at the federal level, Anambra state has a lot to gain if Hon. Nwoye is elected as Governor.
“The manifesto of the APC has received commendation from different quarters and with President Buhari’s fight against insurgency and corruption, the party will continue to wax strong.
“We have decided in our group that we shall vote en masse for Hon. Nwoye for the sake of development in the state”.
Oladunni while admonishing politicians to follow due process in their activities, stressed that the masses are yearning for good governance and ultimately dividends of democracy.
He also called on security agencies, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other stakeholders to work collectively in ensuring a free, fair and credible election.

shut the bleep up.
Sports and especially football is the only sector where there's little or not quota system in Nigeria. Little wonder it's the only sector where Nigeria ranks highest compare to all aspects of our national endeavors..

The Igbos u see in the super eagles are there on merit basis, but can u say so of any other sector in Nigeria?

Suffice it to say that if all the other sectors in Nigeria is made quota-system free. If they're made strictly on merit basis , you'll see Igbos dominating in all sectors jus like in super eagles.

But Nigeria would rather we remain stunted instead of letting the best hands handle the country.

That's exactly why we want out, because we know we can do better than is currently obtainable in Nigeria of today.

Its all about hatred for pmb

Hate is like CANCER, very easy to treat and cure if discovered at early stage but almost impossible to cure when discovered late!
you know whenever I read ur comment I condole "RIP to intelligence"..

Now let's even talk about who hates who..

Let's say Igbos didn't vote for Buhari (which was their right : they had the right to chose between Buhari and Jonathan). It's no hatred if u didn't chose a candidate over the other.

Peradventure Buhari won. Now if Buhari didn't hate the Igbos. If he loved all Nigerians equally. If he was wise enough to understand that Igbos not voting him didn't mean they hated him, it only meant they preferred Jonathan over him (which was their constitutional right). He would have said ok we ran a very devisive electioneering campaign (both PDP and APC). Now it's time to mend fences and run an inclusive government. We must drop our differences and join hands to build our nation.

He'd then make sure every part of the country is included in the scheme of governance.

Mind you Kanu would have still continued with his Ipob thing but he wouldn't have gotten all the sympathy that shot him to limelight. We would have still remained the radio Biafra guy people like me never knew existed.

But no , he went ahead and divided Nigeria. No thanks to his infamous 5 vs 97%. His appointments worsened the whole thing..

So if you still have some neurons up there and you're willing to tell ur self the truth you'll know that Buhari hated the igbos first. The Igbos didn't hate him. We're only demanding to the right to part of a country we called ours..

jpphilips:
kanu is still roaming the streets of Igbo land, because Igbos pamper cowards a lot, we pampered ojukwu and uwazuruike that is why we have Kanu today, when he fails to get this Biafra, you will not hold him accountable for the lives his struggle will affect in the North, you will not bother to blame him for the sour political future he is laying its ground work today, all the works of our patriots past since the end of the war is useless no thanks to his struggle, how many more enemies are we going to have after kanu, from the north and West? don't you think that the seed of hate kanu is sowing today will germinate into a monster of further marginalization?

Kanu is willing to risk it because it is in our nature to pamper Cowards, one of his supporters said that if he doesn't get biafra but gets restructuring, they are ok!, imagine such stup!d statement? he wants igbos to create enemies from all the cardinals of Nigeria just to achieve restructuring that favours who exactly?

Saddam Hussein said that he can not abandon Iraq despite losing a third of his country to NATO forces, he said and I quote, "If i dare leave my people in battle, with the swords of our heroes past, every root of my family tree will cease to exist, that is the Arab spirit, we saw it with Gaddafi, Mubarak and Assad, but an igbo man is shamelessly defending a lunatic who abandoned his father in battle.

Failures like kanu will never cease in our midst, till we learn how to treat cowards who emerge from nowhere to threaten our freedom and peaceful coexistence.
Is uwazuruike not roaming freely in igbo land? what did he achieve with his struggle? Uwazuruike's massob was the reason why the south east recorded the least census population, did you hold him accountable? of course not, Uwazuruike's census boycott order is the reason for all the marginalization igbos are passing through today, at the federal level, we can't ask for additional states, why? geographically, we don't have the landmass worse still, our census figure is too low thanks to the stup!dity of Uwazuruike, by now, sane minds like me would be arguing population density as a justification for an additional state, trust me, it will fly, that advantage is lost forever, the federation account is shared on that parameters and igbos have fallen behind everything Nigeria stands for.

Has uwazuruike paid for that error with his life before we tackle hausa- fulani that profited from our ignorance and stup!d!ty? we pampered him and now you have another like him. We won't stop having this cycle of vagabonds that threaten our peace and freedom if we do not learn from the Arab!!

What did Ojukwu achieve? over 3m lives wasted, properties worth billions destroyed, no biafra and a run away patron, by 1968, the main market in onitsha has already earned the reputation of being the largest in West Africa, during the war, it was burned to the ground. imagine what that market would have evolved into without that set back? yet we refuse to learn, if those 3m were here we would have birth the best geniuses in the world, our population with hausa and yoruba will never be in the doubt so is our national cake, we have wasted everything for nothing, where is the Biafra we fought for?

Kanu has started his movement with his hate filled foul and uncouth disposition, once his con artistry expires, he will run back to London, we go and confront the Hausa and yoruba enemies he made for us, if they refuse to accept us (what every sane person will do), then we run home and shout another round of marginalization, another lunatic springs up and the cycle of madness continues.
igbos must make up their minds this time to hang Kanu by the balls if he doesn't get this Biafra.

His only plan for Biafra was an unconstitutional referendum, yet he took pleasure in insulting other regions that would help achieve that purpose, to Amend the constitution of Nigeria requires 2/3rd majority of parliament and all the states house of Assembly, if Buhari gives him a nod for a constitutional amendment, how does he expect a Sokoto house of Assembly he called "Pedophiles" to support that cause?
How about the Lagos state HA when he called Awolowo unprintable names?

What about his so called Referendum? the United nations have since stopped recognising regional but national referendum, that's why they insist on nations to have it in their constitution before executing it, while the scottish referendum (national) was ratified, the crimea (regional) was not, should you succeed in constitutional amendment, North and SW will never give you their votes even if they want to, at least as a punishment for the insult you gave them, that's the real world for you.

Nnamdi kanu must not be allowed to get away with his ill thought out and illogical plan this time around, enough is enough!!

TBH.. I'm also against the call for Nigeria break up..

But what options has the North left when they have already dashed the hope of restructuring?

Nigeria cannot afford to continue operating on the status quo...

It's not working and has no hope of working in the next 100yrs.

So what next should we do?

Fold our hands and continue praying for God to come down?

Someone has to do something he's convinced would work..

Kanu is doing what he's convinced would work.

You can lead the struggle for restructuring if that's what you believe in and we'd queue up behind u the moment u start attracting the attention of the government like Kanu has done..

Mind you I want a restructured Nigeria, be there's a popular saying that "if you want to get to the moon, u project the stars so that if u miss the Stars you'll land on the moon"..

I'm supporting Biafra, knowing fully well that restructuring isn't a bad option if we finally land there.

But again someone has to do something.

It's not enough to hind behind the keyboards of ur computer or ur handset and be shouting "restructuring"
