happybee:As evident in the first two pictures, he didn't beg to be shot as you would see, the clip was recorded spontaneously by an impressed individual (no poise, no camera stare, no fancy background). Moreso, I love good hygiene and I will buy 10times over from a well dressed, hygienic person. One of the perks is, they also tend to be well-mannered (no age restrictions to how good their customer relationship can be) |
olanreyman:What's there not to love about the SD 636. It's a mid-range processor which is only slightly less powerful compared to the SD820 (a 2016 high-end processor) on paper. It deserves all the hype as it is only bested, in the mid-range segment, by the SD660 and SD710 (I beg to disagree placing this in the mid-end processor section tho). |
BeardedTraveler:If you haven't reached an agreement with Gptech, I'll be here to consider your offer. |
tidedroid:Oops! MTP60 is a direct contender with the SD660. Just as the 660 is the 636's big brother, so is MTP60. |
ibez007:It was price-tagged $105 (or slightly above) at the aforementioned store (Geek Store). I checked this morning and the price has been upped to $120 as seen in the SS below...

Gptech: HeyCorleone:Due respect to my gentl'men. I am with Gptech on this... 40k to get a SD212 with 8Gb of storage and 1Gb Ram is an criminal conduct of money extravagance (even when you wanna dole out money yanfu yanfu, there's a drive that guides your motive) ... "Is it my spending? is it my money?", You'll ask. If I buy a Nokia 2 for that amount, I'll be fully aware i am buying the brand name. Literally. With that amount, OP can get a much better smartphone, slightly lesser than 40k (about N39,690... excluding shipping... actually free shipping) on AliExpress. The name of the phone is Elephone P8 max:::::: 4Gb/64Gb configuration, 5000mAh, 5.5 FHD sharp display, MTK6750T SOC, 16mp FC/13mp RC.... the specs, on paper, are really impressive for the price. This item, at that price, is sold by 'Geek store' on AliEx.... So, there you have it.... Be good Gentl'men... cc: salvo583 |
This OP no do well at all sha.... The review we asked for isn't what we got and you want to sell the phone instanta. Mbanu na. Cool phone though. I see no reason why anyone should get peeved if the OP doesn't post his price here. If a buyer needs a site that trades with price attached, there are OLX and JiJi sites to make up for that. Moreso, a willing buyer should also DHOR (Do His/Her Own Research) before buying/paying. Bia OP, How much is the motherboard (PCB), that is the only thing i wanna buy... grin grin me on 0700-*** - 8243 for sweet transfer ![]() fibonacci2526:Why haven't i followed this sweet MaMa since ehn?? ![]() omotolsy:This man is all about business... he couldn't even sense the sarcasm in the post.... Happy sales OP |
While both cameras perform astonishingly well, I am in little position to be the judge of the naturalness of the cameras based on your own face et body i.e I do not know if you are as fair as the IPX made you seem or you are mute (skin tone) as the TCX has depicted you to be. Nevertheless, the IPX camera on my laptop is widely better off the TCX on many grounds; sharpness, clarity, saturation, balance, depth (noticed that the outline close to the subject, in this case You, is not properly processed in the TCX as in the IPX) among other considerations. I'll give the TCX camera some credits but its picture is very generic and nothing spectacular. IPX for the win IMO. ![]() Orator2383:You know what? You are right. I am viewing both pictures on my mobile phone and the portrait picture appears to be washed out in the IPX however the same picture is better than the TCX's when viewed on a Wide Screen (15.6" Laptop) plus, one gets to see the outline vividly on the TCX as poorly "bokeh'd"... IPX still FTW for me... ![]() Laurenumoh12:Sorry. It won't hit the bar near an IP6 let alone eat the dust of the IPX. Let's be rational and give credit when and where due without overplaying it. TCX will be a bang for Nigerians but it won't light up a candle where the IPX is... |
thowbie7ven:I wouldn't want to dampen the xiaomi-fun but is the redmi 5 plus worth the buy considering its just a RN4X with a bigger screen and a different aspect ratio. IMO, I am keeping tabs on the Nubia M2... Phone's lit AF. It's UI is based on Android M but it's stability is highly rigid.... It bests the R5plus in many ways than one except for the IR blaster, Full View and Nothing.... My opinion. Perhaps, a better and largely more expensive alternative is the Redmi 5 pro; A worthy buy albeit expensive sha. |
Ignore the whole 'Contact jumia agent' cos Jumia can't do anything unless you can validate that you were charged and the transaction was effectively processed. All you need do is walk into one of your bank's branch, lodge a complaint of a debited unprocessed transaction. You will be asked a few details, which will be readily available on your email. From there, the bank will let you know if it was processed and credited to Jumia's account (Now, you can query Jumia) or it was simply a case of an unprocessed transaction (A refund will be effected at a later date). If you are tenacious, your money will be refunded in no time. Goodluck. |
Lekan1o1:Yes, it doesn't depict how long the battery lasted. What it does is give an 'estimate' of how long the battery will last when it is being used as at a brief period of time (same apps running foreground and background). For example, if i decide to run/play a game on the phone without closing my already opened apps, the 'estimated time' drops noticeably (You can try that). Another example is, check the 'estimated time' now and check it after a few percentage drop in battery life. The 'estimated time' drops in relation to decrease in battery life (You can try this too). However, if you wish to see how long your phone has lasted, go to your setting >>> Battery. The info will be there and you can click on screen below the guage chart to view your SOT (Screen On Time) which means the number of hours your phone's screen has been on irrespective of your usage. |
busoye19:I'm sorry but you have no idea of what you are saying mister. The 'estimated time usage' has been a tecno battery widget since the inception of HiOS. The widget shows how much time the battery will last if and only if you keep the phone's operation at that same pace i.e same number of apps running in the background et cetera. I don't have anything to say about the battery life though... i have neither phones. Have fun dragging it with GrandMufti and Fibonacci2526 and luck winning them both to agree to your claim(s) |
CivilzedTyger:Relax bro, my Noobody is trusted, super trusted... infact, his trustworthiness can get you a change from an ATM.... don't fret, we all pray for the safe delivery of our items..... ![]() I'm a buyer that singapost has shown shege |
Vasaratti16 Man, You are the best! |
Mirandah:Thank you. |
For those in need of the Leagoo Kiicaa power review, I'll write my review of the Kiicaa Power. Unboxing/body build: Coming out of its pretty basic cuboid box, the leagoo kiicaa power isn't your exact budget killer looking device. I mean, it has the rear fascia well covered; nicely textured back cover, pleasing dual camera set-up plus a conventional dual led flash that isn't dual-tone, with a 'smart bokeh camera expert' stunt move. Ugh. I pulled the back cover open and i began to observe why this phone was ludicrously cheap and ought to be cheaper, the back case unclipped in the worst way possible, i thought I'd break it if i had yanked a little bit harder. Now the front fascia. Deary me!. The phone looked tasteless while in front of me. I worked it and worked it to find something that'll please me right in front, i didn't find even one so, i settled for the Navigation keys look. To be honest, the front looked to simple and traditional, even a 2.5D arc glass would have done some justice but i guess the OEM was paying too much attention on the price than the fascia... The weight is somewhat pleasing however it doesn't justify the choice of dirt-cheap material most of which are the real essence of its light weight. Verdict: I would have passed this as being modest in the early months (Q1) of 2016 but weight really felt good in hand. To me, it hasn't really much going for it in terms of aesthetics or build. Display: SOMEBODY, PLEASE GET THIS PHONE A PACK OF CRAYONS!!!.. This isn't a hate review...please take cognisance of that. The 720p on 5" is mediocre at best, failing in many aspects but one - it is really a 720p and that's it. The panel used on this phone is deplorable for a 720-res, i was utterly shut up when i placed this side by side to my oukitel c8 which touts a 640p display on a 5.5"... The color temperature is neutrally cold hence the white is white-ish not blueish. I only found the 720p res useful when i toned down font size to about 600 in terms of screen width and the phone was able to produce readable tiny texts. Hallelujah.. To get a better looking picture quality of the screen, you'll need to use enough brightness on the phone to accentuate the mildness of color as exhibited by the underwhelming panel... Too many cheap stuffs... Take it from me, Leagoo sent a Nigerian to do the screen panel shopping. Trust me, I know. Verdict: A 2.5D arc glass would have offer a more positive rendering as compared to the plain glass digitizer... I'll have to say that the screen suffers from the bells and whistles of having a HD display. PCB/RAM/ROM/Performance: Are you feeling fly using this 60$< device, you should, for a budget device, yeah one should feel glad that he/she is getting enough value for money. I can say categorically that this is where the phone has more than 80% of its price well spent on. It offers a 2Gb ram and 16Gb internal storage (Software issue allows it to show that Apps have used more than 10Gb however the reverse is the case. A SW update, when rolled out, should fix it though). It further goes on to win praises for its use of a MTK 6580A and not a dual-core spreadtrum processor... Thank Thee Leagoo!. The performance of the phone is just around its contemporaries, nifty (not snappy), less of a lag-house if you are doing it moderate with the number of killer apps and games. Need i mention the fingerprint sensor, on my product, i wished it hadn't been included cos it fails to recognize at EVERY first attempt, subsequent attempts prove abortive/successful in say 50/50 so, it is one of the most compromising feature on the phone. At least to me. Verdict: KUMBAYA! Leagoo gave me a reason not to help them descend the price to less than 40$ with the magnanimity of the offering at the heart of the device. Plenty of storage (for its price), Twice the expected Ram volume (again. at this price) and a good cluster of 4 processors @ 1.3GHz... If i could trade the Fingerprint sensor with OTG feature, a Notification led and a front flash. I happily would. Features/Features/Features: No miravison, No OTG with the high and mighty 4KmAh Li-ion battery, There is less than a handful of features that can be handpicked. I searched and all thanks or no thanks to Stock Android Nougat, most of the phone's features are dependent on what google had incorporated with its SW. I love the customization that is offered with Google AOSP keyboard though. I wouldn't say much about it's battery... it is another selling point, i won't touch the cameras (they could have been praised if they'd called 'em a dual 3.12mp shooter) the eyes of this device are vision-less, only good for shooting masquerades or sands in the beach or the number plate of a stolen vehicle. I do find however that led flash complemented still pictures well, providing better saturation and depth. I have zero interests in bokeh..... Phew, i rushed things towards the end... bear with me... I'll correct grammatical errors and modify as i find worthy things too.... Thanks for reading. |
favourmic:Well as far as it can get, humans will try to secure their spots in a firm. It could be the staff are employed and retained based on how much they can remit at the end of the month perhaps day. I am not justifying that uncultured and totally deplorable act. Moreso, Laziness didn't allow them to run a diagnosis, they just dumped it on you. Last thought is, in Nigeria, workers tend to render services based on their current moods... might be the person who answered you was frustrated.... And again, It is wrong. In all, i am glad you got it repaired for what will seem like a token compared to what an officially assigned centre charged... Ensure to use an appropriate charger henceforth... Happy Usage |
favourmic:Congratulations. As frustrating as it might be, only little issues compound to bigger problems. I am glad you were able to take that extra step, damning all odds, taking the risk(s) and eventually smiling all along. Enjoy your phone Brother. |
Gospeljingle:You never enter one chance. If you have the fortitude to bear the wait, cc: Bobo65 can help you place an order for a screen replacement. He is a very reliable lieu in this field. He'll be here any minute. |
dryakson:Thanks. By reflective, i mean does the screen reflection of light reduce the screen visibility? Thank you so much for the reply |
dryakson:Abeg shey na hybrid slot? Does it support OTG feature? Is the back glossy or matte? Slippery or grippy? How much storage is available to the user? Is the screen reflective? Finally, Antutu benchmark score please..... |
With reference to your picks (Battery, good camera, 15-25k and Naija known brand), I'll fully suggest the Tecno WX3(P). It ticks all boxes and comes at the right price. Here is a rundown of basic specifications; 5" 480p display 2G and 3G (H+) 4G support for the 4G variant Very good 5mp shooters (back and front) with led flash (back and front) Android 7.0 MTK 6580 Quadcore 1.3Ghz 1Gb Ram 8Gb Storage (about 3.2Gb available) No fingerprint sensor Notification led 2500mAh (WX3 and WX3 4G) 5000mAh (WX3P) NB: The cheapest on the list is the WX3, followed closely by the WX3P and the WX3 4G. I hope it helps. |
lindashealthwat:Thank you. |
festwiz:I do not blog, I'll think about it sha... Thank You Sir. |
festwiz:100% Yes. I mean, we don't get to see 2Gb Ram devices come at a lip smacking price plus the aim of the production of the phone was to endear budget users to what the 18:9 aspect ratio is (which to me isn't much of a fuss.... it makes phones look slimmer and taller + lesser bezels ..... think of Agbani Darego.). [s]18:9 Aspect ratio is just your phone's length (vertical) to its width (horizontal), which is Length= Width X 2 hence resolution is also 1280 x 640 (1280= 640 X 2) and 1440 x 720 (1440= 720 x 2).[/s] Sorry, that was not necessary. In my opinion, if you want an OKAY phone for non-demanding uses (Internet works fine... Pages are rendered well, thanks to Nougat permissibility on quality stuff), No professional or gobsmack'n pictures... Overall, it is just a phone that does what a smartphone should do at the MINIMUM without looking or performing like a waste. It delivers as expected for a sub-25k smartphone... Honest Opinion. |
I do not know what is wrong with that snail network. It used to be good at my end, all of this started a week... maybe two weeks ago. I SECURE my surfing on the internet #KeyThings and it has turned from bad to worse to horseshit. I only experience major difficulty now when Keying my network... Grandmasters of Flop. |
festwiz:Do not have wavering thoughts though, the 640p on the phone is almost as dense as a 720p on a 5.5 inch display. So far so good, the phone is fairly working well. If you are not an internet + virtual private network person, you'd find the battery long lasting (a day for regular web surfing) The screen is also fairly responsive, I think it only supports two fingers but the zippiness of the screen is lacking, much of it owing due to the 6580A processor beating inside of the phone. The screen overall quality is modest, not necessarily bad nor is it brilliant. It goes very dim when you switch the adaptive display on, in the dark. Speakers are not the best in class and the preset intensity is very low however you can always go to the setting >>> notification >>> sound enhancement >>> to boost the decibel for louder output. Camera is quite a 8MP shooter, the whole quality becomes tainted when you try to zoom in on the picture, it becomes grainy, noisy and lacklustre.. Overall, to get a DECENT picture, you'll need more than enough natural light. The flash, the Led flash, Only God knows why Chinese OEMS put less-than-bright-enough led flash in most of their phones. Could it be cos their streets are always lit up at night?? Naija is quite different though, the blackness of our street is deeper than AMOLED contrast. The flash (led) is only good for CloseUp pictures or for shining your way back from a rigorous Night Vigil.. No better. No notification led, No OTG support, fair internet connection speed (Glo is dead to me), fits in hand just well, Very slippery especially me that i have harmattan sweaty palms (i wipe my phone every eye blink), CREAKY plastic back cover + back cover is prone to dents even at short height accidental falls (best to use the included silicone case), It doesn't vibrate when a call is picked (i love this feature). Multitasking is cool, open too many apps and the phone will help you filter those it wants to keep... best to swipe away the redundant ones to avoid conflicts with the C8.... I can't think of any more at this moment... |
CHESTER48:Ever heard of immersive mode? All OP need do is to toggle it on and the navigation bar will be gone. Tell me a single core performer that can run VC okay?? |
jboy01:Yeah... And it is really a nifty and intuitive feature... You have a problem with yours? freebuddy:You are quite close to solving the fingerprint sensor ish... You could have added the same forefinger as your second fingerprint so whichever angle you place your index finger, it is going to be recognized. Happy usage. Camera sensors have too much noise tho. |
Massive thanks to Noobody, he did me well... He really did. Well, my c8 received a firmware update (minor update to fix bugs), I believe other future updates are guaranteed. Should you wish to order an item (phone or related) on Aliexpress, do not hesitate to do so with Noobody or with the man with the cheeks Bobo65
