This your submission is totally not true. That is why we have the family court where such issues are treated if the case is not well handled by the social welfare office.

Which city/town were you all staying before relocating to the village, so I can signpost you to the FIDA office you should get in touch with....you will eventually have the kids with you and the court will work out the provisions for the kids and time they will spend with each parent.

Don't be scared, the children will be brought back from those relatives because they have no parental rights over those children before the law, make sure you present proofs of abuse during the marriage......go legal, don't settle for any alternative.

He "trickling"relocated us to the village,to prevent me from living the marriage easily as my family are based in the city. I left sometime last year.
I couldn't cope with staying in the village because I have never lived in a village all my life. I became very sick and decided to elope with my children. His mother found out and called the villagers and other family members.
They came with the local security operatives,then forced me to board a tricycle belonging to his cousin,I refused initially,but on seeing my children there,I decided to go with them.
I told them to allow me go inside and get some money and my charger. On getting back,they drove off with my children.That was the last time I saw my children.
I was in an abusive marriage though.

Every police station now has a human right desk you can walk into and report. As per custody, courts may be involved niyen but start with the human rights desk at the nearest police station to the area or go report straight at Enugu State Police Command and State Ministry in charge of this kind of issue.

I used teaching hospital for two of my deliveries and Catholic hospital for my last delivery. NHIS covered my antenatal fee,lab test,CS fee and I only paid 10% for drugs in both hospitals.I was entitled to only two scans and paid for other ones I did during the course of my pregnancies. 1. I don't follow at all. Your primary address remains your primary address regardless of your movements. So no need to restrict movement even during a census.

If there is no restriction of movement,that primary address thing will not work, because people will have one or two things to attend to intra/interstate.Some may not come back to their place of usual residence during census period.The point is for you to be enumerated where you are going to be throughout census period.

1. If an enumerator does not find you at your place, chances are they will ask your neighbors about the people who live there and get an estimated count anyways. So when you go to your sister's place and get yourself counted as someone who instead lives at her address, it will mean that you were counted at your address and at your sister's address as well. That is double-counting and part of what the census tries hard to avoid.

This year's census is defacto,which means you have to be physically present to be counted.The house numbering and household listing will be dejure, during which information can be sought for from neighbours if one is not around. In the case of the OP, if he decides to go to his sister's place to be counted,the enumerator will ask him if he spent the preceding night prior to census day 1 at his sister's place and also if he will be there throughout census reference period.If YES,then he be counted as a member of his sister's household.If No,he will be asked to go back to his house where he will be enumerated as an household.
