Pls answer me am a FTM and 22 weeks but I have not felt baby's movement and kicks went for scan the scan confirmed baby is ok and kicking but yet I can't feel it.....am worried.

I guess your placenta is in anterior position,thereby shielding you from feeling your baby's kick.My first pregnancy was like that,I never felt my baby's kicks.Don't worry mama,as long as scan says your baby is kicking and heart beat is heard at every antenatal visit,then be rest assured that everything is fine.

Happy new week...

I went for ANC today and there was this preggy mama really gisting us and I was enjoying her discussion. Suddenly, Naso she face me ooo saying my belle should be in the first trimester. I looked at my sweet bump and looked at hers, and smiled. I later heard her telling another mama beside me that she is 6months. Naso I start to dey laugh o and she had to ask me how many months, of which I said 5months+. This funny woman was just shouting that it's a lie. I'm happy for my small bump because it complements my stature . The most important thing is doctor confirms baby is doing well.

At the hospital, didn't they prescribe drugs for your body aches? I advise you rest more and drink water frequently. Lol, I wish I have your huge appetite because I really need to add ooo .

Sorry, I've been missing in action. Wasn't feeling too well. I noticed my hands and feet were becoming white even though I've been taking blood tonic from the beginning of this pregnancy. Anyway, I was advised to take this "hospital too far" leaves and got better after taking it. I hope it has no side effects because I try not take too much.

I hope we have started registering for ANC, I'd be doing that on Friday. How's our LOs doing? Are you all enjoying this second trimester like I am? My bump is already showing . I doubt if I can hide it after this month.

Thank you Cappo. Body aches and heaviness has been the order of the day for me. The huge appetite no be here o. As for the bump,I look like I am 6months gone. I already registered for ANC last month. It is well with everyone of us. We all will surely overcome this phase. Amen

My Twinnie, it's far for 'borning' (can'twait for these little ones to be in my arms), but am not sure it's far for buying baby things. These days I get tired very easily. No remedy except to rest. As for loss of appetite, am with you on that one. I force my self to eat in the morning which is when I have something like an appetite, by evening I take Warm Milk or Tea to help me Sleep because I also get insomnia and restlessness sometimes. I also try to eat fruits, used to be Mangoes, but now I detest Mango, I've moved to Grapes and Pears in small quantities due to lack of appetite.

I think 3rd Trimester starts from 28weeks, am jumping into it next week. It's just me and my husband, he's my helper.

Chai, see me here eating like everyday like a cow.I have never had loss of appetite from the onset of this pregnancy.We are just 15weeks today.I am also expecting twins too. May God see us through. Amen

After my long stay at the hospital, I finally met my baby on 3rd May, 2021.
An IUGR baby for that matter.
Delivered at 37 weeks via CS.
Baby is a girl.

Its not much of a concern. My pcv was 30% when I gave birth 4 days ago and doctor said it was good

I gave to my twin boys yesterday April 23 . Twin 1 came 5:35am, 1.99 while twin 2 came ten minutes after, 2.12kg......36+6 days .both babies are doing incredible. I've started nursing sef. vaginal delivery with epi and tear ( despite being tiny)

I had a membrane sweep on that Wednesday, and I had been feeling contractions but they were irregular. I managed till Thursday night when my mom called and I described how I was feeling to her ( back to stomach contractions) she asked us to go the hospital, that was around 9pm o...
I was checked and I was only 2cm dilated but my cervix was soft. the doctor then gave me medication for the pain and asked me to rest. I was jejely sleeping on my own o with slight contractions when I just felt a pop ( infact, I heard it). it was hot and plenty. At around 3am, the nurse then took me to the labour room, checked me, I was 6cm, she was surprised.. I started growling and begging for medication, I was in so much pain and agony. the contractions came and kept coming. nurse said she would check me by 6am. 3 hours felt like forever. by 5:10am, I started having the urge to push, she asked me not to that I could tear my cervix, I tried but it was so hard not to push. at 5:35 twin A came, his brother came 10 minutes after. vaginal delivery. may God take control of our births
