Soul E who left the shores of Nigeria in 2013 to South Africa has finally become a full blown “Pastor” and he’s now referred to as “Prophet Emmanuel”. The 34 years old singer now pastors a church in South Africa with the name “The Evidence Church Of God” and holds crusade, revivals and different church programs. The singer-cum Pastor was huge in the music industry between 2008-2011. His many controversies include his court case with his label “Collosal Records”, his relationship with an older lover ‘Queen Ure’ and his very well publicised beef with Pastor Chris Okotie. https://www.reportnaija.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/5ab8ab463a5d7.jpg Former president Goodluck Jonathan, has alleged that there is a grand plan by some persons to sponsor campaigns that are aimed at tarnishing his image. The former president made the allegation on his Facebook page. Recall that last week, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, alleged that the fomer president ”essentially shared” N150 billion withdrawn from the CBN, two weeks to the 2015 general election. In his Facebook page, Jonathan who is currently monitoring the presidential runoff election in Sierra Leone, wrote ”It has been brought to my attention that while I am away promoting democracy in Sierra Leone, a campaign will be unleashed against me to falsely impugn my name using both faceless and identified persons. When I was in power I said my ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian. Even out of power, I continue to hold that belief. What I will say however, is that no matter how far and fast falsehood has traveled, it must eventually be overtaken by truth. GEJ”. His former media aide, Reno Omokri, about the same time last night, also posted a tweet alleging that Yemi Osinbajo has sponsored a story to be published in major dailies today, quoting a source saying Jonathan stole Billions of Naira. https://www.reportnaija.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Adebayo-Shittu-2.jpg Minister of Communication, Adebayo Shittu, has urged the Nigerian Government to trace innovators of the defunct Biafra who are still alive for them to deploy their technological know-how towards the nation’s drive for industrialisation. The Minister regretted that the nation failed to take advantage of the great innovations propelled by the three-year war, which ended in 1970, by making use of those he described as great minds that sustained the then Biafra army. Shittu, who spoke at the commissioning of Technology Orientation Centre, built by the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), at Idu, Abuja, yesterday, urged the agency to go beyond the elite environment and trace those innovators, most of whom did not even have university education. “I recall that during the civil war, we had so many innovators from Nnewi and other parts of eastern region then. So many people, who didn’t have university education, developed so many technological infrastructure in the East”, Sun quoted him as saying. “But it looks like after the war, they were forgotten. I think Nigeria should look for these great minds that may not have had university education but in terms of innovativeness, they sustained to a great deal the then Biafra Republic Army. “I think that NASENI should move beyond the elite environment and look for these people who I believe are going to add great value to what NASENI has been doing. “Again, there is need for us to start challenging ourselves. Number one, up till today, toothpicks are still imported; serviette papers are still being imported. Up till today, so many small things are still imported into Nigeria. “It’s not enough for us to look for the big targets in terms of engineering infrastructure. I think we should not leave behind those small items that we need on daily basis. “These are things that ordinarily if we have them produced locally, will be patronised by virtually every Nigerian. I will suggest that our immediate target like the President has always said, is that we should produce what we eat,” he stated. source https://www.reportnaija.ng/2018/03/22/why-nigeria-needs-biafrans-shittu/ |
https://www.reportnaija.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Police-Patrol.jpg The police have killed six members of a kidnap gang in a gun battle in the Fidiwo forest area along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday. He said the suspects, who were killed on Tuesday, had been on the wanted list of the Ogun State Police Command for carrying out several kidnapping activities along the highway. According to Oyeyemi, the suspects had earlier kidnapped two medical doctors working with the University College Teaching Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, while on their way to Lagos and they were later rescued by operatives of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS). He said the criminal act infuriated the Commissioner of Police in the state, Ahmed Iliyasu, who consequently ordered the officer in charge of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), Uba Adam, to go after the hoodlums. “In compliance with the CP’s order, the FSARS operatives embarked on technical intelligence investigation and the suspects were tracked down to their hideout in a thick forest at Fidiwo area along Lagos-Ibadan expressway. “The hideout was stormed, consequent upon which the suspects engaged the men of FSARS in a gun duel which lasted about an hour. At the end of the encounter, six of the suspects were gunned down, while two policemen also sustained injuries,” the command’s spokesman said. He added that the injured policemen have been taken to the hospital while the team recovered some items from the suspects. They include one double-barreled shotgun, one single barreled long gun, several live and expended cartridges, as well as assorted charms and cutlass among others. Oyeyemi said the police commissioner commended the gallantry and professional conduct of the police team and declared that Ogun State would never be a safe haven for criminals. source https://www.reportnaija.ng/2018/03/22/police-kill-six-suspected-kidnappers-in-ogun/ cc lalasticlala |
https://www.reportnaija.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Femi-Fani-Kayode-August-2014-BellaNaija.com-01-600x437-600x437.jpg I am happy that the Dapchi girls are all back home but I am deeply troubled by the fact that one of them was left behind and by the assertion that 5 of them died whilst in captivity. The day the truth coes out about what really happened to the Chibok and Dapchi girls and those that were behind these two scams, Nigerians will be shocked and they will spit on the graves of Buhari and his collaborators. Meanwhile I saw the pictures and watched the video of Dapchi residents cheering on and waving at Boko Haram insurgents as they dropped off the “missing” girls. It was clear to me that they regarded the terrorists as heroes and I was compelled to ask myself the following question, “are we really one country?” So many questions need to be answered. For example how do you explain the Ghana Must Go bags that the girls were carrying on their return? Did they go shopping in Sambisa Forest? Or is it that when they abducted them they gave them time to pack all their clothes and allowed them to bring them back when freed? Another question that needs to be answered is this: why did the Federal Government lie to the international media that the girls were dropped off in Dapchi at 3.00am in the morning when the footage and pictures of their return prove that the whole thing was done in broad daylight. Finally why did the government inflate the number of the girls that were abducted when the kidnapping took place six weeks ago. They claimed that 110 girls were missing after which the school and the parents set the record straight and said that 105 girls were kidnapped and not 110. Could it be that they knew that in order to make their story more credible after money had changed hands and the girls were returned they had to be able to say that at least 5 of the girls died whilst in captivity without having to actually kill any of them? This seems to me to be the only plausible reason for telling this lie and sticking to it to the end even though it had been exposed for what it was from the outset by the parents of the girls and the school authorities. Finally why are the government telling the whole world more lies by saying that no ransom was paid in return for the girls? It is common knowledge in intelligence and security circles that vast sums of money was paid to the terrorists and quite a lot of that money was sent back to some of the govermmrnt officials that were involved in the negotiations and the scam as a kickback. The point is that the whole thing was planned and agreed on well before the abduction ever took place. That is why our Minister of Defence could tell the Nigerian people just a few days ago that the girls would definately be released within 2 weeks at the most. A few days later they were dropped off by their terrorist abductors in Dapchi after all the soldiers and security personnel that had been deployed to the area were withdrawn. As the terrorists entered the town with the girls they were hailed as heroes and received like freedom fighters by the locals and not as if they were terrorists. Some reports suggest that the massive crowd that received them were even chanting “holy warriors” in hausa as they marched through the streets. This reminds me of the words of the massive crowds that welcomed Fidel Castro, Che Guevera and their rebel fighters in Batitsa’s pre-communist Cuba as they and their rebel fighters went from town to town during the days of the revolution. In those turbulent days and despite Batista’s efforts to crush the revolution with full American support, as the communist rebels went from town to town they were met and encouraged with chants of “Viva Fidel! Viva Che!” by ecstatic crowds and the rest is history. Today in Dapchi and parts of northern Nigeria the crowds chant “holy warriors” as Boko Haram march through their villages and the streets of their towns. The implications of this are obvious and clear to the discerning. When they arrived in Dapchi the Boko Haram insurgents not only interacted with the crowd openly with smiles on their faces but they also spoke to the parents of the girls, apologised to them about what happened and told them not to allow their children to go to school again. Apart from the fact that they made vast sums of money in their deal with Buhari, which they will now use to buy more arms and organise more abductions, it is clear that this whole thing is the gratest public relations stunt for Boko Haram ever since it began its operations 7 years ago and they have won many friends and admirers as a consequence of it. The narrative that they would not have abducted the girls had they known they were Muslims, though false, seems to have resonated with the local Muslim population in the north and this can only help Boko Haram and swell its ranks. Someone is giving them very good advice and counsel and I suspect that that person or group of persons are in government and are also in one or more of our intelligence and security agencies. They are working with Boko Haram in the same way that the dreaded Pakistani intelligence agency, known as the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), works covertly and in collaboration and collusion with the jihadist terrorist organisation that is known as the Taliban. Whichever way you look at it and whatever you believe, there can be little doubt that a terrible precedent has now been set and we can expect many more Boko Haram abductions in the next few months after which money will change hands again and the girls, as long as they are Muslims, will be released and returned. This is especially so because the 2019 elections are approaching and the government needs to raise funds to build up its war chest. Meanwhile, due to the massive amount of cash that they are receiving from these exercises, the numbers and strength of Boko Haram itself will increase enormously over the next few months until they become one of the most effective and wealthy terrorist organisations in the world. The Nigerian people and and indeed the people of the West African sub-region do not know it yet but the truth is that we are in trouble. What Buhari and his friends have foisted on us is something that few can comprehend and imagine and the truth is that we simply cannot handle it. Add that to the scourge of the Fulani herdsmen that has blighted the country and afflicted our people and you will accept that unless something gives and changes very quickly the future of our country is bleak. A terrible precedent has been set and we shall rue the day that this was done. The government believes that it will boost its ratings and increase its popularity by these shameless scams, manouverings and subterfuge but as the truth begins to unfold, and be rest assured that it eventually will, the whole exercise will backfire badly. In the end it will lead to more enmity, more division, more bitterness and more violence. The truth is that the Dapchi incident is the biggest and most dangerous scam and money-making venture in the history of Nigerian politics and those poor little girls are just pawns in a much bigger game and wider picture. The fact of the matter is that the Buhari administration are the owners of both Boko Haram and the Fulani herdsmen. They trade in blood, death and terror. And if you really believe that a President and government that is capable of pulling off the Dapchi scam with Boko Haram will allow a free and fair election next year then you need to have your head examined. The truth is that there is no law and there is no democracy in Nigeria. This is a lawless and dangerous country where anything can happen and anything is possible because the machinery of government has been highjacked by the emissaries of hell and the Kingdom of Darkness. The Guardian Newspaper reported that, “Boko Haram shook hands with the parents and apologised for abducting them. They said if they knew they were Muslim girls, they wouldn’t have abducted them”. Can you imagine the implications of that? I have been reliably informed that 15 year old Miss Liya Sharibu, the only Christian among the Dapchi girls, has not been released simply because she refused to renounce her faith and convert to Islam whilst in captivity. The Buhari government told their Boko Haram friends to return the Dapchi girls yet Liya Sharibu, the only Christian amongst them, was not released because of her faith. 105 girls and one boy were taken and, according to CNN and BBC TV, 104 girls and one boy were returned home. But little Liya was not allowed to come home. They decided to keep her in captivity. I pray for her and her family. May God console them, give them strength and avenge them. If she is still alive I pray that God touches their hearts and that they release her. I call on the Christian God, the Lord of the Universe, the Ancient of Days, the Lord of Hosts, the Great Avenger and the God of all Flesh, to avenge us and remove these cow lovers and sons of the Bonded Woman from the seat and corridors of power. I pray that the Lord delivers us and wipes away our tears and collective shame. Permit me to conclude this contribution with the words of Mr. Nata Sharibu, who is Liya’s father. He spoke the following words to Raypower Radio and they were published in the Cable. He said, “All of them were released. They said some were dead there and my daughter is alive but they cannot release her because she is a Christian. They gave her the option of converting in order to be released but she said she will never become a Muslim. I am very sad but I am also jubilating too because my daughter did not denounce her faith”. This is a courageous man and a great soldier of Christ. May the Lord return his daughter, gladden his heart and grant him peace and joy. God be with the young and beautiful Liya. God be with us all. Brig.-Gen. Texas Chukwu, the Director, Army Public Relations said in a statement he issued in Maiduguri that Isa was arrested alongside three other suspects. Chukwu listed the names of other suspects as Muhammad Buba, Yakubu Abubakar and Yakubu Abdullahi, adding that Isa was number 37 on the list of Boko Haram insurgents published by the army. Chukwu explained that Isa was arrested on March 20, following an intelligence report, adding that the suspect hailed from Panama village of Biu Local Government of Borno. The army spokesman said that preliminary investigations indicated that the suspects participated in operations, coordinated by the Boko Haram insurgents at various times. “Troops of 23 Brigade, Operation Lafiya Dole on March 20, arrested a wanted Boko Haram suspect, Bubayi Isa from Panama village, Gunda District, Biu Local Government Area of Borno State following a tip off. “Further investigation reveals that Bubayi is the 37th suspect on the list of Boko Haram terrorist suspects, published by Army Headquarters. “Other suspects arrested with him are: Muhammad Buba and Abdullahi Abubakar from the same area while Yakubu Abdullahi hails from Sabon Gari Gado in Bayo Local Government Area of Borno. “The suspects were arrested in Kalaa village in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa. “The suspects have also confessed of belonging to a Boko Haram terrorists group and their various involvements, following a preliminary investigation by the troops.” source https://www.reportnaija.ng/2018/03/21/army-arrests-4-boko-haram-insurgents-in-adamawa/ cc lalasticlala |
https://www.reportnaija.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/5ab20193d6b0e.jpg Federal High Court, Abuja, on Tuesday, dismissed a suit seeking to remove Kogi Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, from office. Justice John Tsoho dismissed the suit on grounds that the plaintiffs, Michael Elokun, Ibrahim Sule and Hawa Audi had no business instituting the case. The plaintiffs were asking the court to grant an order for the return and immediate swearing-in of Idris Wada, former governor of the state. Tsoho, in his judgment, upheld the objection of Bello that the plaintiffs had no “locus standi” to institute the action. He held that the plaintiffs were neither members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) nor aspirants in the primary election that made Bello the candidate of the party in the governorship election. Moreso, the court agreed with Bello that the plaintiffs were not the only electorate in Kogi. The judge also held that the subject matter of the suit was not within the jurisdiction of the court as it was not a pre-election matter. He said that the suit was bound to fail because it was filed almost two years after Bello had been sworn in as the democratically-elected governor of Kogi. Other defendants in the suit are the APC, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Attorney-General of the Federation. https://www.reportnaija.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/5ab11ce98dac8.jpg Former president Jonathan has called on the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye, to call to order one of his pastors and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, over the claims made by Osinbajo against his administration yesterday March 19th. Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo yesterday alleged that the government of former President Goodluck Jonathan “essentially shared” N150 billion two weeks to the 2015 polls. In a statement released on his Facebook page, former media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, said Osinbajo’s claims are false and baseless. According to Reno, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo continues to make these discredited comments because he is a man promoted above his competency. Reno said it is sad that the Vice President has again surrendered his lips to satan to be used to spread slander and lies. Read the statement below Again, my attention has been drawn to rehashed lies in the media by the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, against the person of former President Jonathan. Speaking at the 7th Presidential Quarterly Business Forum for private sector stakeholders at the State House conference centre, the Vice President said as follows; “We saw from the presentation of the Minister of Finance that N14 billion was spent on agriculture in 2014, transportation got N15 billion, while infrastructure in three years got N153 billion, and yet in two weeks before the elections, N150 billion was shared. “So if your total infrastructure spending is N153 billion and you can share N150 billion, that is completely incredible. That sort of thing doesn’t happen anywhere else in the world. So, when we are talking about the economy, we must simply understand that, that is the problem.””. It is sad that the Vice President has again surrendered his lips to satan to be used to spread slander and lies. Nigerians may recall that lying is the most consistent achievement of Professor Osinbajo’s almost three years as Vice President. Only on October 20, 2017, Vice President Osinbajo was in Anambra state where he lied that the present administration had paid $2 billion for the second Niger Bridge. I personally exposed that lie and forced the Presidency to issue a ‘clarification’. The money released was 2 billion Naira and it came from the Sovereign Wealth Fund set up by the Jonathan administration which the APC resisted and challenged in court. Even after Jonathan left office, it is still monies that he left behind that the Buhari administration is using. It will also be recalled that in February 2016, the Vice President again lied when he claimed that both the Jonathan and Yar’adua governments did not build a single road. This fact was easily disproved when even members of this administration, including Osinbajo’s boss, President Buhari, began commissioning projects, including roads built by the Jonathan administration. Some of the roads either built or rebuilt by the Jonathan administration include the Benin-Ore portions of the Benin-Lagos road, the Vom-Manchok road, the Kano-Zaria Road bridge (named after late Emir Ado Bayero) and many more. On this most recent allegation by Vice President Osinbajo, let me state categorically that former President Jonathan DID NOT share 150 billion two weeks to the 2015 election. If Professor Osinbajo has proof that former President Jonathan did so, then we challenge him to publish his proof. He is a professor of law and ought to know that he who alleges must prove. Again, it is a lie from the pit of hell that the Jonathan administration spent only N14 billion on agriculture and N153 billion on infrastructure in three years as alleged by the fallacious Osinbajo. The Jonathan administration budgeted and spent over $10 billion on infrastructure in the 5 years between May 6, 2010 and May 29, 2015. The single most expensive and valuable project built in Nigeria in the last 20 years is the $1.8 billion Abuja-Kaduna 187 kilometres super-fast railway that enables Nigerians work in Abuja and live in Kaduna. This project was built and completed by the Jonathan administration. Is the Vice President aware of this? Also, former President Jonathan revived Railways in five of the six geo-political zones and restored direct rail services from Lagos to Kano, Port Harcourt to Maiduguri and Makurdi to Gombe. When Rotimi Amaechi took over as minister of transport in 2015, he said (this is a direct quote) “In fact, I think we have a problem; most people don’t believe that the railway transport is functioning in Nigeria. I didn’t even know, until I started this tour, I never knew that the railway was functioning, it was even from his (MD’s) speech that I learnt that there are some coaches or services that go to Kano or Port Harcourt or elsewhere.” My question to the Vice President is who built these rail infrastructures that Amaechi was referring to? Who built the only Federal University in President Buhari’s home state of Katsina including 13 other Federal Universities and 165 almajiri schools? It was ex President Jonathan. In contrast, the Buhari administration, which in less than three years has borrowed more money than the PDP borrowed in 16 years cannot point to even one major project they have started and completed. Both President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo keep accusing the Jonathan administration of being corrupt and claim that they run an anti corruption government. If this is true, how come Nigeria made her best ever improvement in Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index under former President Jonathan in 2014 when we moved 8 places forward from 144 to 136 and why have we made our worst ever retrogression in the Corruption Perception Index under President Buhari, moving 12 places backward from 136 to 148 in 2018? The truth is that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo continues to make these discredited comments because he is a man promoted above his competency. He was never a deputy Governor or Governor or an ambassador or a minister. His highest portfolio before becoming Vice President was that of a commissioner in Lagos state. No wonder he was referred to as ‘ordinary commissioner’ by a prominent member of the All Progressive Congress and leading figure in this current administration. Finally, let me say that If President Buhari will not intervene and rein in his Vice President by call lying pastor Osinbajo to order, I respectfully call on Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God to remember the biblical admonition in Revelations 21:8 that “all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone” and step in to call Pastor Osinbajo to order. source https://www.reportnaija.ng/2018/03/20/alleged-corruption-lying-is-the-most-consistent-achievement-of-professor-osinbajo-reno-omokri/ cc lalasticlala |

https://www.reportnaija.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/5aaf7db71e99c.jpg For the second time in 2-years, Eric Many, the record label that signed Nigerian popstar, Runtown has filed an injunction at a Federal High court against the singer for breach of contract. The entertainment company served Runtown the court papers a few days back with Suit No: FHC/L/CS/267/2018 with a statement that partly reads, ‘Runtown has been deliberately breaching his contract with us (Eric Many) for a while and despite our many appeals to him he has refused to bulge. He went for a show in Las Vegas since January 13th, 2018 and has since decided to withdraw all obligations of his contract. He has steadily been recording an album without the consent and approval of his record label’. According to the statement of claim filed at the Federal High Court, by Eric Many, “a Recording Agreement was made between the Plaintiff and the Defendant dated 22nd June 2016, the copyright and other intellectual property and cognate rights and legal positions and protections applicable to all works done by the Defendant during an initial period of two years covered by the Agreement, is vested in the Plaintiff. The Plaintiff will rely on a copy of the said Recording Agreement at trial. 7. Under the Agreement, parties recognize and acknowledge the sum of N114,456,670.00 (One Hundred and Fourteen Million, Four Hundredand Fifty Six Thousand,Six Hundred and Seventy Naira) as “Prior Investment”, representing the sum invested by the Plaintiff into the development of the Defendant’s musical works and records under the defunct ‘Artiste Agreement’, precursor to the ‘Recording Agreement”. In a press statement issued this morning, the label also states that, “he’s recording with artists like Del B without the written approval of the label and without an Eric Many appointee at the point of recording as agreed in our contract. Runtown has also been appearing in venues and collecting appearance fees without the approval of the label and also performing in private shows without the label’s consent which contravenes clause 4.4.1 of his record deal which states that ‘the Defendant(Runtown) can only engage in recording, collaborating or performing with other artistes for third parties or other record companies upon proper notification in advance to the Plaintiff. Upon this notification, the Plaintiff would then enter into an agreement with the collaborating artiste or his record company to ensure that the Plaintiff and the Defendant receive proper credit, legal/copyright protection and compensation for the collaborative work”. Breaking News: Federal High Court slams Runtown with an Interim injunction over breach of contract (Photos) Though Runtown‘s record deal with Eric Many is due to expire at some point this year, the label says he still owes the company alot of money including, ‘Hundreds of millions in Naira from the Lamborghini Gallardo super-fast car which he still has to pay back to the label and and also an album that must be released through the right channels. He has been doing numerous collaborations with several artists without getting the written approval of the label and as a result, no royalties have come back to the label from any of these collaborations. He has been warned severally about this on numerous occasions but he refused to listen, so we as the label had to go to court to stop him from these dubious actions’. The label also confirms sacking his current manager, Ifeanyi Nwunne saying, ‘Eric Many has also fired Ifeanyi Nwunne as Runtown‘s manager. He is more of a drug addict that smokes marijuana round the clock. A new manager will be appointed soonest’. Eric Many in its statement of claim is seeking the sum of “N65 MILLION being General Damages against the Defendant (Runtown) in favour of the Plaintiff for infringement of the Plaintiff’s copyright to the collaborative musical works “Call Me” and “Weekend” both of which featured the Defendant as well as N5 MILLION as costs of this action”. “Eric Many has chosen to hold back on anything pertaining to Runtown, till further investigations. This means that anyone who engages Runtown without a written approval from Eric Many, signed by the chairman, will be sued heavily. https://www.reportnaija.ng/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/5aaf8262cf0b0.jpg Read the thankgiving story by Reno below… At about 7:32PM on Sunday the 18th of March, 2018, I should have died. I had just returned from Washington DC. I was too focused on composing a thank you email to my hostess and I missed my stop on the air train. I got out at Westfield Road station in front of the rental car center of San Francisco Int’l Airport and I was crossing the road to get to the other side so I could take the next train in the opposite direction. I was at fault. The pedestrian crossing light was red, but I crossed anyway without looking. How the oncoming car did not hit me remains a mystery. It was meant to hit me. It missed me by milliseconds. I believed I was going to die. But the strangest thing was that my life did not flash in front of me in an instant as they say. What I recall was this sense of calm. Of acceptance of what was surely to come. I was not afraid. I believed there was no escaping death at that instance. Have I lost my sense of fear? Because even immediately after the event, I still was unafraid. There was no fear or aftershock. There is still no fear or aftershock hours after the incidence. Right now I am still analyzing why I was not afraid. Whether it was an angel that gave me wings to run or whether my sub conscious took over, I don’t know. What I know is that I give the God and Father of my Lord and Saviour Jesus thanks for being alive today. I know my Redeemer lives! If I keep this to myself, I am robbing someone out there from knowing that God exists. He delivered me today and since He does not love me more than you, he will also deliver you from the premature death the enemy has orchestrated for you if you believe in Him and believe Him source https://www.reportnaija.ng/2018/03/19/i-was-almost-killed-by-a-car-yesterday-reno-omokri/ cc lalasticlala |

Obasanjo was quoted as making this comment at Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University on Friday. Reacting via a tweet, the former minister said Nigeria needed to be freed from the shackles of Fulani. He wrote, “Nigeria will collapse if Buhari wins 2019 election”– President Olusegun Obasanjo, Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University, March 17, 2018. “Baba has stated the obvious. I am glad that he has seen the light. May God bless him. “The struggle is not against Buhari but against what he represents: the hegemony and impunity of the Fulani ruling class and the barbarity of their murderous footsoldiers known as the herdsmen. It is not a struggle between political parties but a quest for liberation from the Fulani.” SOURCE https://www.reportnaija.ng/2018/03/17/2019-fani-kayode-reacts-to-obasanjos-statement-that-nigeria-will-collapse-if-buhari-wins/ |

According to Dailytrust, 20-year-old Zainab delivered the baby on March 9, 2018. She has been married to her husband Hassan for four years and are already blessed with a three year old son, Fahad.Auto Draft Describing the baby, Hassan said: “The child has both sexes and four legs, the two abnormal legs and a penis are on the left side of the ribs, only one of the two additional legs is moving, the second doesn’t. I can say it’s a girl because the longer and normal legs have a female genital at their proper place.” When asked if his wife attended ante-natal clinic during pregnancy, Hassan said she did: “For now, I’m made to understand from some health officials that she may need surgery to correct the defects and was given a referral later to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital to meet a consultant paediatric surgeon,” he said. Doctors’ findings and examination at the Turai Yaradu Clinic stated that “the second twin was attached to the first at the sacral region to the left, swelling at the lumbo sacral region of both twins, polydactyl of the fingers. The provisional diagnosis was said to be sarcophagus con joined twins.” In a similar news reported some few weeks back, the woman who gave birth to the baby with four legs in Kaduna was however reportedly delighted over the birth of her baby despite the defects. The woman said it was the will of Allah: “Both of them are female. Of course, one would have loved to deliver the babies without any deformity. But since Allah in His infinite mercy had decided to create the twins like this, what can I do? This is why you see me relaxed, and I love them both.” she aid source https://www.reportnaija.ng/2018/03/17/woman-gives-birth-to-a-baby-with-4-legs-2-genitals-in-katsina/ cc lalasticlala |

https://misspetitenaijablog.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Untitled-81.png Nigerian philanthropist, Amb.Dion Osagie penned an open letter to his wife after he battered her. On January 20th,2018, the Nigerian-born American-based entrepreneur beat his wife of two years, Winifred. According to reports, Amb Osagie beat up Winifred and locked her up against her will, in their house in Benin, Edo State, after allegedly hitting her on the head with a knife. He took to Facebook to publicly apologize to her .He wrote Open letter to my wife. Life is not always a bed of roses. Dear Wife, I hope you are enjoying your vacation this far. I write this letter with so much love for you in my heart. I am struggling to find words I can use to lessen the hurt that I may have caused you but then again actions speak louder and I will rather show you. I offer no excuse for my silly ways and I can only say I’m deeply sorry for having to put you through any drama because you simply do not deserve it. I’m certainly not asking for your total forgiveness but I’m appealing for time to allow me the chance to put right all the wrongs things. I know it won’t be easy but I want to rebuild that trust and make things even better between us. It has been my attitude to correct every wrong not just with you but with everyone including those who hurt me. I am a man who is certainly not afraid to let the world know how much I love my wife and I have always dreamed to use my marriage as the perfect example to the world how marriage should be. I may fall short sometimes doesn’t mean I am bad. I may have my flaws but I am confident that I am better than most husbands. Believe me or not, it is not easy to live in a 4 wall corner of a house with a person from a total different background as yours. It takes a lot of challenges to get things right. However, we must not only look at the negative aspects of our lives.. We should also look at the positive vibes. Those times we have made each other smile, it has not been so bad all the way. Many marriages face challenges but the ability to overcome them is why it is called marriage. Remember you have sang “Katopot of envy several times” I want to save this marriage of ours. We have gone through so much together. I know you have put a lot on hold for me which I do not take for granted. I also want you to know that I have great plans for you. If we fail to plan, we plan to fail. I don’t want to be a failure and I will never be one. I know sorry wouldn’t be enough to alleviate your pain and erase the bad memories. What I fervently hope for now is for you to give me a chance to make you happy again and prove to you that I can be a better husband. Remember, I am not perfect, you are not perfect, no one in the world is perfect, God sees our imperfectly perfectly. Like you always say, it is a greater strength to forgive. I hereby request your greatness. We all have been broken at some points but we are certainly not beyond repair. Over 1000 persons, family and friends around the world have reach out to you to express their love and concern.. If you can’t forgive me, at least for their sake it is necessary you do. Always remember because of my work, service to humanity, the devil will always try to break me. If you stop loving me, they have won, If stoping my work will make you more happy then I will. Never forget you are my Godsent. Just Incase you decide to leave me, you must invite everyone that was present at the introduction, traditional wedding and white wedding to attend the divorce ceremony. As for me, I am not leaving and it is for better or for worse according to the altar of God you believe in. Darling, I’m sorry once again. Thanks for being a great mother to all my boys. The directive was given to both private and public schools. And not just that, everyday, the Nigerian national anthem is to be sung in Yoruba Language, and Yoruba Language has been made a compulsory subject. Yoruba is now a compulsory requirement to get into any tertiary institution in Lagos. The Deputy Governor Idiat Adebule, passed these directives across to Public School principals and head teachers in a meeting: “Gov. Ambode wants me to pass this message to you, that henceforth, Yoruba language be made compulsory in both private and public schools. The national anthem must be sung in Yoruba on a daily basis too. The Egbe Akomolede has done the translation and we will send the copies of the Yoruba version to your schools by Monday so you can begin to teach the students. I have also met with the owners of private schools and we have relayed this directive to them. We are also considering translating the textbooks of other subjects into Yoruba Language because I believe that when students are taught in their mother language, learning will be easy and their level of performance will improve. The state government is passionate about this Law, so we do not lose our language, culture and heritage.” source https://www.reportnaija.ng/2018/03/09/ambode-declares-wednesdays-yoruba-speaking-day-in-schools/ cc lalasticlala |

According to Governor Nasir El-Rufai who berated Nigerian doctors for going on strike despite taking an oath to always save lives, it is only in Nigeria that doctors go on strike. The Governor who in his speech advocated for a cut down in the National minimum wage, accused trade unions of always dragging their state chapters into the unnecessary fights with the Federal government. ‘Trade Unions have never served the country well. They have been selfish and everything is about their narrow interests. In general, in Nigeria, trade unions have been a danger to our progress and I think they should be curtailed. The mistake we made as a country was placing trade unions in the Exclusive Legislative List. If the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has an issue with the Federal Government, then the state universities will go on strike too. In Kaduna, I warned the Kaduna State University, that if ‘you ever go on strike again because of somebody else, I will fire all of you. I think we need to do some things. First, take labour matters out of the Exclusive List because many of us are victims of agreements reached with ASUU by the Federal Government. The states were never part of such agreements. Secondly, is the issue of minimum wage. Except we set a very low minimum wage, there will continue to be issues especially with states that do not have wide tax net. You cannot set the same minimum wage for Lagos and Jigawa. Also, we must apply the labour laws strictly. No work, no pay, because there has to be a trade dispute before anything strike’ he said. source https://www.reportnaija.ng/2018/03/09/nigerian-doctors-are-irresponsible-workers-should-be-paid-very-low-minimum-wage-gov-nasir-el-rufai/ cc lalasticlala |
