Blonchilli: I need help from anyone with the relevant experience. I've checked other website and all the method I tried didn't work. I run a dry cleaning services and I was introduced to a new synthetic starch and after using it the first time noticed it makes the clothes really hard so I found a way to manage it because I bought it in large quantity. Unfortunately I was away at work when a customer dropped some clothes and the lady working for me applied it to the clothes that already has it in it. Now I've been trying to at least reduce the amount of starch in it but it's having little effect. So anyone who knows how to reduce the amount of starch please your suggestion is needed. Would vinegar help? get flow starch |

HyAccent: 350 for a car? That's a tough one. But if you must buy a car and that's what you have, look for either of the following; Nissan Sunny, Golf3, Mitsubishi Carisma, Corolla 99,Carina E or Micra. |

Newpope: how does Uber verify vehicle year, through vin? Does your 406 consume fuel a lot? I have this 406 I want to respray and clean up just for ehailing, I don't want to finish the upgrade and discover the ride won't be accepted they don't verify through vin, they already know the cars that qualify. |

Newpope: what year is your 406. What is the least year for Uber, I'm seeing 2000, I'm also seeing 2003 the least year for uber is 2000 while that of taxify is 2003. the vin check for my 406 displays 2008 as it year though I doubt cos I know production of 406 ended in 2004 in Europe since mine is from france. |

As I'm not familiar with routes learn how to use G-map very well, join a forum/what's app group of Abuja drivers. you'll learn the rest on the job. |

Olayetan: You check all this before u pick up? Omni knowest I'm not omni-knowest but what I explained is just the fact. I once accepted a trip from Ikorodu to shogunle for 2k. why? I wanted to leave home without blowing empty and I didn't have the time to wait for a better trip. there was serious traffic around ketu/mile 12 but I didn't complain cos I knew the price before accepting. drive smart! |

Olayetan: Pilots,
mission avoid Indriver,
I repeat, mission avoid indriver
That app can kill you this period...
But honestly, some riders have lost their conscience, you offered ridiculous amount, driver picked hoping it would be a smooth ride without traffic then you encounter heavy traffic that took you 2hrs+ on 30mins journey then you paid the ridiculous amount you offered without tipping the driver for the traffic.
Chai, felt so pained today, wasted resources and energy... you're the architect of your problem all because of fastest finger first. the rider does not owe you anything extra. before I accept a trip on indriver, I check the pickup/destination then check the time estimate for the drop off, even in some cases I check the routes to ensure it is traffic free. take only trips that's convenient for you, una no go hear. |

BAZ001: Make una take an easy ! We all complain about bad customer service in Nigeria, rude attendants, online support personnel shouting on phone and likes. That’s the same way we look to riders. You can’t go aggressive on your customer.
There are some jobs you can’t do without getting insulted or harassed. No matter what you do, be a saint they will insult you. I will just focus on d money I want to collect from you, if u like abuse me till drop off, my focus is your money and I rate u 1star r we make up before I drop u cos I no want 1star too. I will rather get insulted and make money than allow my bills insult me did you read the part where he said she made a video of him, what if she post the video online with the caption that he raped/ assaulted or he stole her belonging? before he would be given the opportunity to tell his own side of the story, people would have attacked him already. if that's the way you would have reacted and it works for you then no issues but I would have reacted just exactly the way I quoted with no apology. if you say you get werey, other people get pass you. |

Mmgboji: Thank you very much.
How about the automatic transmission for 407 is it reliable? it Carries same AL4 transmission but I read an article where ikenna said liquimoly transmission oil works perfectly for it. my next car would be a 407 and its gonna be an auto trans. |

Car Talk › Re: Peugeot: Cars With Attitude! by emmancecute(m): 1:54am On Oct 17, 2020 |
Babagy823: AL4 auto tranny fitted in peugeot 406,206,307 are not really problematic as people make them look like, if you can get the right ATF (Esso LT71141, esso is now mobil). then you wont have any issue with the tranny except otherwise if uou abuse it due to driving habit. now the tricky part is the recommended ATF isnt readily available in the country then what ATF should you use? the answer is there is NO substitute for ESSO/MoBiL LT71141, but people have tried oando DEXRON II, and its perfect, northerners use Visco 2000 engine oil in AL4 trannys and they work wonders, its funny but TRUE. I dissagree, even in foreign forums you see people complain about the AL4 transmission. I think there's a different transmission fitted with the V6 engine, which is likely to give issues unlike its i4 counterpart. |

Mmgboji: Boss, I have followed your overwhelming bias for Peugeot a.k.a the Lion King for about 7years now. At this point I have ready to ditch my Toyota Camry 2004 alias Big for Nothing for an intercourse with one of these Lions. My preference is the 406. However, I am not a manual transmission person. Secondly, I am not sure I can afford a foreign used. So I am looking at a Nigerian used Lion with an automatic transmission. Your advice and guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. The Peugeot 406 is quite as classy car. make sure you get a very good one from start and you'll smile all through your ownership of the car. but the automatic transmission isn't reliable from the information I gathered. |

God's protection is the ultimate but we should never downplay our instincts. Safety first should be our watch word especially late night trips. I happen to do late night trips a lot cos I hate traffic coupled with the fact that my current car is Manual transmission. There are axis I avoid totally, I call the rider before even starting my car to head to PU. This is to enable have an idea of who my rider is from the conversation. I keep all doors locked, park in a position that makes my escape easy. once rider approach, I observe him/her, Looks/composure especially. Then I don't do more than a rider at nights , I even ask you before moving to PU. may God continue to protect us. |
