Your 04 camry shouldn't be shorting oil ..more than likely you bought a lemon. Those cars were in such huge demand that some had high miles on them .... I use the big daddy during my early years of uber..

When you bought yours did you verify the actual MILEAGE ? I can bet money that yours was bought high miles and the mileage was roll back before it was sold to you ... It only cost 5k to roll back mileage my brother......

Also it is 2007 to 2009 camry v4 that had a factory defect of oil shorten ........

Ps ... The more often you stress your car especially when use for e- hailing the more you burn more oil ..keep that in mind .. All these stop and go and traffic hold up, local driving stresses the car alot more than highway driving .......

Now I keep saying this is why I use Honda Civic 03 to 05. Those cars were built specifically for low maintenance. They were design for that and they have the lowest maintenance cost ....

And from experience I never had oil shorten issues unless from worn out oil seals or bad pcv values.. I have mention these couple of times.. Samething with my elantra 07 to 08 never had issues with oil shorten..

If you know you will be using your car for e hailling make sure to use full synthetic oil and follow owners manual ... Using the correct grade oil will also help you to save on petrol consumption.

I have a small fleet of cars on uber for the past years now .. My experience is well documented here ....i know what am talking about

He's right, the oil shortening worsens as car ages. Mine is 1ltr every 500miles now especially if I travel with it and rev high.
It used to be 1ltr/1000 miles before

When I changed for camry from 15 to 16, I didn't change any hub.
The rim guy said the corolla rims are smaller. I think he just wants me to take the 15

I started the trip and on getting to Ozumba, I found myself offline, I asked the rider to check his own app and he discovered the trip has ended too with the app displaying zero naira. And the trip is not also in my trip records. The rider paid 3500 cash anyway, that was the estimate he saw when he booked the ride.

They mostly codedly go back and collect kickbacks,they know how they run stuffs like this,they will certify bad cars to be okay.

Its later that you will be left to carry your cross.

Best thing is to pray to be lucky,and go with someone that is faithful(hard to see) and you trust(most times,i dont even trust myself).

I’m interested in ehailing but the major challenge has been getting a car or the money to buy a car. I tried getting HP but couldn’t get something reasonable so I decided to save up the cash and buy a car instead.

Before now my savings amount goal was 1.5m for a foreign used Honda Civic 07/08; I use to see this on JIji sometime last year.

Now I am ready and have been able to save this amount but I can’t find a foreign used of this car for 1.5m anymore and already settling for naija used.

Please advise on other alternative to a foreign used Honda Civic 07/08 or what to look out for in getting a Nigerian used vehicle.
