GeneralZodd:
Nigeria police don too chop me for this business, I can't count how many times wey I don bribe them for road aside from going to their stations. I sat down one day and do calculation, money don enter 100k plus on bribe, I come vex go collect army sticker, banner and face cap from lieutenant colonel who happened to be a family friend.
Now the kind respect wey police men dey give me, no be small thing. Na Sir dem dey call me if I dey drive for road. Till you go jam the one wey go get mind ask for your id. Na that time you go know sey police no dey play with impersonation, especially this time wey everywhere choke. You need to upgrade your street OT too.
This inspired the Moniker I use "GeneralZodd" |

DMechyy: I find it very reliable. With much use, you get acquainted with its use and direction.
Start out by using it everytime, within your neighborhood, and places you are conversant with the audio on. You will get used with its turn left in the next 500 meters, or keep right on the ramp.
With Google map, you shouldn't get lost if you know how to use it very well, also apply your sixth sense. |

dru23: Your 04 camry shouldn't be shorting oil ..more than likely you bought a lemon. Those cars were in such huge demand that some had high miles on them .... I use the big daddy during my early years of uber..
When you bought yours did you verify the actual MILEAGE ? I can bet money that yours was bought high miles and the mileage was roll back before it was sold to you ... It only cost 5k to roll back mileage my brother...... Also it is 2007 to 2009 camry v4 that had a factory defect of oil shorten ........
Ps ... The more often you stress your car especially when use for e- hailing the more you burn more oil ..keep that in mind .. All these stop and go and traffic hold up, local driving stresses the car alot more than highway driving .......
Now I keep saying this is why I use Honda Civic 03 to 05. Those cars were built specifically for low maintenance. They were design for that and they have the lowest maintenance cost ....
And from experience I never had oil shorten issues unless from worn out oil seals or bad pcv values.. I have mention these couple of times.. Samething with my elantra 07 to 08 never had issues with oil shorten..
If you know you will be using your car for e hailling make sure to use full synthetic oil and follow owners manual ... Using the correct grade oil will also help you to save on petrol consumption.
I have a small fleet of cars on uber for the past years now .. My experience is well documented here ....i know what am talking about Truthfully, Car came with high mileage. 170k miles, my friend bought 07 corolla with 250k miles. His car just hit 300k miles and never shuts oil. So, as you rightly said, as the mileage goes up, the oil burn becomes more evident. |

BAZ001: Make una stop this naah You mean Toyota made mistake to make some Engines to be shorting oil ? Use normal oil una no go hear. Keep using synthetic and be topping oil every week You allow dt YouTube man to be confusing us here. Don’t generalize Baba, not all Toyota’s in dt category dey short oil
Unknown gunmen dey watch , let me run to net 100k dis week
yes, they made mistake. Yes, car manufacturers make mistakes hence why they recall cars. Its not about synthetic/mineral oil. If yours no do am, its either you're lucky or engine was fixed before you bought it. |

Please help a brother with as much information as possible. Thanks in advance should be acceptable, fuel consumption will be great since its i4. Ruggedity is what I don't know. confusedworld17: Stop spreading fake news. Ah Ah!! 1 liter every week. You used a lemon not big daddy. This isn't fake news. My 04 bigdaddy was bought toks. If yours isn't shorting oil then mayb you're lucky or the issue as been corrected before you bought it. The 2az-fe engine is notorious for that, its also same engine that is in i4 muscle (2007-2009). If you use the car for ehailing full time, you might have to top up with 1ltr of oil weekly. I say it without mincing words. |

Corolla sef get im own wahala, I used big daddy for 9 months on ehailing and no major issue. The issue with the car is engine shorts oil and you might need to top up oil with 1 ltr weekly. For your information, the 03/04 is more rugged for the hustle than the 05/06 cos of the 10pin gearbox as against the sensitive 13pin in the latter. Corolla sef na thief magnet, and e dey spoil too. |

Mukah1234: Hello team,
I have been a keen follower of this thread (lowkey) for sometime now. Please I need your advise.
I’m interested in ehailing but the major challenge has been getting a car or the money to buy a car. I tried getting HP but couldn’t get something reasonable so I decided to save up the cash and buy a car instead.
Before now my savings amount goal was 1.5m for a foreign used Honda Civic 07/08; I use to see this on JIji sometime last year.
Now I am ready and have been able to save this amount but I can’t find a foreign used of this car for 1.5m anymore and already settling for naija used.
Please advise on other alternative to a foreign used Honda Civic 07/08 or what to look out for in getting a Nigerian used vehicle.
Thank you https://www.nairaland.com/6605527/super-neat-first-body-06 just saw this but not civic but 05/06 camry. Looks like few month used. https://www.nairaland.com/6569213/very-neat-used-2011auto-honda. This is honda city. Take a professional along if you intend buying. |

Thank you The 07/08 honda civic is over 2m now, I think your best bet is the bullet proof dru23. That is the 04/05 civic. Cars are generally expensive now, even my peejo that used to around 1.2-1.5m is now 2m and over for a good one. Another option is to go for 6 -12 months used Naija used which I believe your budget should get you one. If you're going for the latter, my brother shine your eyes very well ooooo. Wish you well in your endeavours. |
