Jonathan: Haba boss . Online redemption is not 5 working days I . It’s 48 hours Yes in most cases it's less than 5 days. Infact I have gotten less than 24hrs sometime ago. What the 5 days means is the longest time to wait before raising alarm. ie what is still acceptable within the law that governs MMF. it doesn't mean it will be 5 days. |

seyisanya: I just logged on to my fbnquest account and was surprised to see that the current value of my portfolio was reversed to the initial invested amount. Consequently, total accumulated units have also been reversed to the principal units. Did you or anyone else experience the same?. This is not funny at all oooo Bros. be patient. they are updating data. usually within the first week of a new quarter they will update so that those who opt for reinvestment of their interest will be done while interest will be paid to those who opt for payment of interest at each quarter. don't worry yourself your investment is intact. However if after Friday of next week you have such issue send mail to ccu@fbnquestmb.com |

lilsyd: Hi guys please i am new at this investment thing...i have got 500k and i would like to put it in something that i can get something tangible on a monthly basis. Please what do you advise. Whats the percentage and how do i calculate tje interest with the petcentage given. Please forgive my ignorance. Na one day person dey sabi something. Thanks When you say something tangible in investment it's relative, investment is all about risk. that is by the way, I advice you invest in one of the mutual funds and get returns in the range of 12 to 13% for now. However money market mutual funds in particular pay returns quarterly even though your interest is calculated daily. send your email I will send you a link for Investment one account opening form. I'm with Investment one |

Michael820: hello, I concurrently have all my investment in Stanbic Money market fund, but I want to move some them to Equity fund for better interest rate cause I am of the opinion that Equity should give more interest, is this true??
And I would really appreciate anyone who has invested in this fund before to give me insight on the average daily interest.
Thanks If you don't have stong heart stay away from equity or anything related to equity you can get your fingers burnt. I advice you stay with the MMF. when the coast is clear you can do equity directly on the floor of the exchange or invest in equity related fund. it's my opinion/advice. |

Gavrelino123: How did you open yours....what are the requirements and procedures..? How long does it take.? As I said earlier, if you have a GTB current account and you do internet banking you can open a dom account right at your desk. No other requirement. For me I don't think it was up to 15mins. you can even chat with them online and follow the instruction. just click on open additional account and then specify the type of account e.g dom or savings etc you are done. your account number will be sent to you. When you login again you will see the account dollar account as one of your accounts. |

Adegokenath: pls one more question if i have a saving account and domicilary account @ Gtb how do i convert to dollar from my saving acc. To domicilary acc. You will need to visit a branch of GTB for that because issue of dollar and conversion are highly regulated financial transactions. Commercial bank are always very careful and mindful of CBN. |

Gavrelino123: Bro,what are the processes of opening a domiciliary account..? Do they pay any interest.? Simple especially with GTB. If you already have a current account with GTB, you are profiled for internet banking, you can open a dom account right at your desk. Login to your account online click additional account and choose the type, that is all. you don't even need cash. However you have to fund it before 6 months otherwise it will be dormant. From what I was told when I did same, no interest cos by default your dom account is current according to the - GTB. Hope this help |

locodemy: Una don find out who the buyer of 11.2 B units is? Nairametrics said the person or group is under the control of Uncle T. Uncle T contols about 47% of Transcorp total shares. If 27.5% is removed from 47%,the balance now is 18.5%. Cant you see that uncle T is no longer a majority holder.
pls make una save Loco from this calamity befalling him...........
If anyone is interested for a crossdeal 5m units at 1.35,pls inform me but before I will do that, JUST NEED TO KNOW WHO THE BUYER IS........BIKONU........EJOOOOO........PLS O. Sale explained Nairametrics now understands that the block deal was an internal transfer of shares between core shareholders of Transcorp which combined, hold over 47% of the equity of the company. Mr Tony Elumelu directly or indirectly owns about 47% of this shares, 17.9 million units in total. The deal we understand was between Heirs Holding, the investing vehicle used by Mr Elumelu, and an undisclosed entity within the group. According to the source, the shares was moved from the portfolio of Heirs Holding to another entity within the control of Mr Elumelu, in a move regarded as “strategic re-balancing of their portfolio”. It is unclear why this was necessary. |

bigtt76: You're welcome. I don't know if their charges are 1% of your total transaction cost plus other statutory charges for CSCS, Stamp Duty etc. I hope this helps? How much does Morgan Capital Charges? I choose ARM because they seem more established in other areas outside stock brokerage. Stockbroking firms are like humans non is perfect. You can have 75% or more performance from some of them. As par charges I still prefer Morgan. but if you are not a trader u can use Investment-one. They also have online platform with 1K one-off payment for the service. |

The good result was factored into the price before it was released hence the crash because traders are taking their profit and not waiting for the 50k dividend. don't worry once you see ucap going down it's an opportunity to enter and wait for the Q1 which is sure going to be good. any day anytime ucap is a stock to have in your portfolio except their books begin to say otherwise. but for it's CARRY GO |

PETERiCHY: Well all I have to say is "If you can get a buyer sell your holdings now and thank me later. PERIOD! You guys seem to get this FCMB scenario wrong as far as I am concern nothing has changed. FCMB you know is a family business. Ladi just leaving the bank because of corporate governance issue. He can’t be there for more than 10yrs. Remember Tony, Jim and Aig. So it’s just like leaving the bedroom to the sitting room in the same apartment. Remember Otudeko left FBN as bank and he’s the chairman FBN holdings. Whether he is in the bank as MD/CEO or the Holdings as MD/CEO nothing has changed fundamentally or otherwise. |

exclusiveoloori: Pls I lost my access bank share certificate, and I consulted a broker in a bid to get another one. I was given a form to fill by the stock broking firm months ago for it to be re-issued by United Securities but the form was sent back that my signature didn't tally with the one I signed initially when I bought it in the open market. Now the prob. Is that I bought it almost 10yrs ago, and I honestly can remember what I signed. And I was told that without that they cant issue another certificate. I thought of selling part of it to use for the festive period but it isn't possible any longer.
Pls house, what do I do? What's the way forward ? In the first place you don't need the physical certificate any more, ask the registrar through the form from your broker to credit your cscs account with the number of units. meanwhile you need to visit the registrar to sort out your signature issue. you could be guided to sign what you have on their system, otherwise you will have to obtain signature confirmation from your bank. |
