Ngwakwe: The same observation made me to put down this comment. Unlike meSo what your problem with SW. Because the moderators are not dancing to your PDP and SS/SE sentiment. You decide to play the victim. |
The meddle-east are are already diversifying . UAE attracts tourist and shoppers than most countries. Nigeria needs to go back to Agriculture. That was our primary source before Oil. With US shale oils, energy prices will fall. |
ngozievergreen: hahahahaha. Lwkmd! Now you are becoming deluded, is Imo state free education evidence of poverty? NO. The highest consumers of those products are Igbos, didn't your people claim to be the most populated in Lagos LOL. You and your Jealousy story |
manny4life: MOST NIGERIAN have been patronizing buying low quality products since the days Nigeria was concieved, there's nothing wrong in it.. Don't quote me If you want these arguments to end. We don't need to buy fake and substandard good because the economy was better in the 60s,70s and early 80s. Inflation rate was down and goods were cheaper. Did you say the current economy is booming? Am sure you are not a business man. Business is very slow. |
BluStreak: Well articulated response Manny. Without the ibo's introduction of affordable items, the Yoruba's would have still been living in their grass thatched houses, converging in one politician's house to watch TV etc. The low priced goods has helped a lot of homes live a comfortable life even though the items often times have a short life span.Just shut it, when did we start patronizing sub-standard and used items. Probably you just came to Lagos, it was once a shame for Yorubas to buy Fake and substandard goods. But economic downturn and inflation made Nigerians Patronize these goods,no need singling out Yorubas. |

manny4life: Did the report state that it ONLY MASSOB that heard it?Yes read the story again. |
But what kind of bomb/explosives was used that only MASSOP members heard. Even the noise of ordinary BANGER will attract everybody to the site. |
thelastPope: We were all ignoring the guys fooolishness, you now went on to complete it! LOL. Its a PPP project with the private guys taking the bigger share of the cost. The onus is on the private guys to deliver on time. For every minute the project is delayed, they are loosing money. They will normally take loans to fund it. These loans have a grace period before interest starts counting. The private guys will have to complete the project on time so they can start making money and paying back their loans. That is the beauty of PPP. This is half way into GEJ's tenure. How can he be making election promises now? Funny how some of you reason, walahi! Now i see what @garri is saying. So JB is going to toll that bridge for years. And thesame PDP is fighting Fashola over lekki road. Hypocrisy. |
Why are Muslims claiming to be majority in Lagos. We are Yoruba first before any religion. No room for fanatics from any religion(Christians or Muslims.) In Yorubaland. |
The issue here is not MIL but domestic abuse. A lot of are desperate to get married and are desperate to stay in marriage. That's why domestic abuse is rampant. This is Africa for you. |
UD101: Asked to comment on the duration of the project, he said, “This is not a contract. It is a PPP transaction. The PPP transaction will cover a period of 25 years for them (Julius Berger AIMS Consortium). By the conclusion of the discussions on the second phase, at least the construction period will emerge. It is not like a normal contract that the government is funding.”Don't mind these PDP people. |
Sincere 9gerian: Where are the HATERS, demons, devils and mischief makers?I wonder why you are ranting here. JB won the bid to build the bridge. They have not started building yet, probably you forgot their are thousands of FG uncompleted projects in Nigeria. Please stop making Nigerians look foolish. |
texazzpete: The only people who call Sanusi an 'Islamist' are the usual band of intolerant m0r0ns.Bros, cool down, how dare you compare Christians who don't want Islamic Banking to BOKO-HARAM. Please tell me what he has achieved has CBN governor. |
7842I: She may get married faster and easier than singles. My friend, Lola is still single. She is saying the fact but not truth. The truth is that people like Lola get disgraced everyday by married people, and when they finally get married,KAMA deals with them. |
musKeeto: I don't understand.. Was he performing in someone's living room?Might be a Nite club show. |
meerah25: Whatever!. . .well iam HND graduate,im proud of it. . .i spend almst six years in the polytechnic. . .wr im serving now,we have university graduate. . .lol the can't speak good English. . .only in Nigeria u ll fine disperity mentality . . . |

Place the Poly and University graduates aside by side you Will notice the levels of confidence and knowledge shown by the Uni graduate. Poly students are technically good. But University students are vastly knowledgeable. |
tomakint: Anything marriage is tied to the apron of anything African culture, coming to Nigeria, especially Yorubas, Marriage is almost tied to 'being successful in life' when actually it is a grand deception of the deepest dye! I have seen many men who married early and are yet to breakthrough, I have seen many men too who married late and are successful likewise I have seen vice versa, the truth is prepare your hearts (emotionally, physically, financially) very well (be you man or woman) before you choose to settle down with your partner and be ready to challenge whatever situation that comes your way with a brave heart because Marriage is not bed or roses! Nothing like LATE MARRIAGE!Most you bring tribalism into this. |
missjo: Naughty boi, Naughty gurl... Lol. I'm sure they were eyeing themselves, exchanging texts and phone calls right under Daddy Bishop's nose. Talk about a marriage made in heaven...sorry...I mean, canaanland. ![]() |
ngozievergreen: Back to topic, cos i dnt evn have time for rubbish, Soyinka should carry his protests to where it shd b necessary- Abuja not LagosNgozi na wa for you o. Soyinka didn't attend the protest, but his letter was read. Protest can be held anywhere if you get enough media coverage. Soyinka has suffered in the hands various dictators, so going to Abuja is not an issue. |
Elueme: You were probably living in the arctics hen OBasanjo was in power. The Yorubas including Soyinka kept mute in most part of his administration even in the face of misrule, why they were so quick to sell their birthright by backing the man from Ota for a second term in 2011. They became antagonistic after it had become clear that the man from Ota had deceived them into losing their territory to the PDP. I have stayed long enough with the Yorubas to understand their mentality but this time, we all know what each other knowsI see you love spinning facts. Even your Igbo brothers know that was one of the greatest critic of OBJ, for 8 years. But you are here denying it. |
Elueme: Stop being mischievous. I was conscious and politically enlightened enough to understand that the criticisms OBasanjo got from the south westerners were based on the control of the south western region not on performance. May I remember that wole Soyinka was mute in most part of Obasanjo's 8 years tenure?Soyinka mute? Probably you were not in Nigeria during OBJ regime. Lies. |
Onlytruth: Let's play a game. You forget the the most critic of OBJ are the Yorubas. Even when Festus Odimegwu was supporting him. |
Why not let Ngozi and Sanusi reply Oby. They best quality to reply not this media agents. |
victorazy: Talent is far better than education. Talent is natural while education is what you acquire (who tut Newton etc. laws in physic) talent.Haha Lazy man shouting talent. |
Talent without education is dead. Compare MJ,Whitney,M Jordan and Oscar-P to Bill-Gates,Mark Z and Warren Buffet. You will realize education made the difference. |
tomakint: That was thoughtful of you, and just imagine how life works, and now a Biafran (Goodluck Jonathan) is at the helms of affair in the same country they (northerners) once held sway! Indeed, there is a law of RETRIBUTIONSo GEJ is now a BIAFRAN. HAHA HAHA |
Dede1: I usually do not respond to junks written by characters such as Richard Akinjide but since you seek the truth, Akinjide is one reason people hold Yoruba in contempt. However, I shall disappoint you on the issue of Ojukwu’s parentage. Unlike the loudmouthed Richard Akinjide, I do not dwell on people’s mother and father.Old Man, you need to give this your wahala some rests. Abi you want kill yourself. There is Tribalism/ Rasism / discrimination all over the world. Except in Igbo land. HAPPY. |
JallowBah: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1635092That is a 1992 journal, research conducted more than 20year ago. Look nobody holy pass! Enough of this sexist war. |
JallowBah: How is that playing victims? Look at the facts; men do MORE harm to other people than women. That does not mean that women do NO harm.Show your facts, and don't send me to Google or Wikipedia. |
