People easily believed Senetor tribal comments than Falana,s facts. |
Duru1: If Mrs Alakija's father was a multibillionaire when he was alive, how does it correlate to his daugther owing crude oil blocks in Nigeria? And who told you Her oil wells are not untie SW, or you think only SS produce oil. |
^^^Sorry, i don't get you; are you saying that b'cos 'oyel produced in Ondo surpasses every oyel produced in the SE', that we should not speak out against injustice?
What injustice, the SS should protest for their Oil alone and leave the other Southern people out of their problems. |
The op should check WOLE SHOYINKA'S grade from UNI. |
barikay: scale is still in your eyes or u are a beneficiary of these dubious arrangement. U think u can pocket the wealth of a whole nation? Didn't u read that the allocation should be done according to federal character?Oil blocks cannot be based on so called Federal Character. In civilised countries, Oil blocks is giving to the highest bidder. Don't know why SE people are complaining, when the Oil produced in ONDO surpassed every Oil produced in the SE. |
TOOLZ is a dwarf. Just look at her arms. |
saint22: @bluetooth -i know you as a homosexual & i dont join issues with asshole like you.i still maintain my words."GEJ & Wife can steal from their purse(oil money).idiots like bluetooth & his good grammer skill will continue being slaves to d ijaw manSHUT-UP, So the oil belongs to GEJ and his Wife. You should demand for the list is states where Oil is produced in Nigeria. @OP If those properties are not in her Names, then has no right to them. |
These SS/SE people are just noise makers. They forgot that oil blocks business is capital intensive. How many SS peeps can invest in Oil-blocks over 20 years ago, when Adenuga got his block. Go ask people like TIMI ALAIBE, most of these Northern Guys pay millions to groups in the NIGER-DELTA for the protection of their oil-blocks. They can also try send the multinationals packing, and see if poverty won't finish them. Its a win win situation. |
free2ryhme: guy u are wrong .. CAC charge N200 for search and they know they make money thru this dat is y dey wont automate there coy name searchThough they charge N200, but it is automated. I did my search within 24hours. That is not possible without automation. |
Afam4eva: I'm into technology products eg Web services, inventions etc.Go to CAC office in Yaba you will meet recognized agents. I did my company incorporation within 3weeks with TIN number from FIRS. |
temisafety: How Can You Prevent your chosen business name from being reallocated by the CAC?Well you have a limited time between name search and full registration. You must start your full registration 1 week after name search. Never advertise until you complete the full registration. |
So Oby is right. |
And why are they trying to disrupt Lagos peace over Hijab. |
John Akpa: Out of sentiment, mayb nani was thnkng of it so rashd bt d force of Arbeloa grease 2 dat level and nani's foot was drctly 2 hz opponent sternum u knw! So he dsrv d red card. And note dat if it were man u, it would have even been 2 red cards. What a carelex jump and mindset?Well from the video Nano leg was already up before Arbeloa ran in. |
lakesdie: ON cool FM i don't know the name of the presenter but the guy was so rude on air, they were having this children talk show, with two children on the show,(a boy and a girl) and the idea was for people to call in and give them words to spell. The boy was overconfident cause he was getting all the spellings right. This particular guy called and asked the boy to spell MNEMONIC,he spelt PNEUMONIC and the caller said he was wrong. At this point, the presenter not knowing such a word existed challenged the guy and asked him the meaning of the word. The guy tried to explain to him, he didn't give him a chance to explain, only for him to start laughing at the guy, the caller then told him to check the meaning of the word in the dictionary and hung up. The presenter took it personal and started making such remarks as "he probably graduated with a third class", "he has a mere OND" and several other derogatory statements. That must be freez. That guy is dumb. |
spyder880: Didn't want to say it earlier but Chime was in his village on Saturday night. Leaving the thread sha.Haha una don start again. Soon he will be in his village for the next 12 week receiving cancer treatments. |
James Lucia: my dear the poor also should sacrifice towards the betterment of tomorow cos if parents dont enjoy toaday children will enjoy tomorow's development. The poor should sacrifice, what about the Rich that has been looting us for dacades. The Lekki you see is a glorified Slum. Wait until it starts raining. The government just grabs and sale lands to their cronies. Why not develop low-cost housing for the poor. |
shymexx: Bro, what do you want him to do??Well revolution might be the answer, But the government (State/federal) has the responsibility to cater for it people. God bless Jakande, most of the low costs Housing in Lagos were built by that man. |
shymexx: That was obviously truncated because of the decades of military rule... It's a new dawn and all hands must be on deck to put Lagos and its beautiful landscape where it belongs in the world... Continuity is also important, hence why Lagosians need to keep voting the same party in, or any other aspirant that has the interest of the state at heart...Well its not easy to keep one Party in power forever, the government needs to count the cost of losing people. |
The same thing El Rufia did in Abuja and some people are still suffering till today. Yet Abuja still has slums. |
It isn't a pipe-dream, a lot just needs to be done to make it feasible... If they can link the whole SW(including Edo) together through rail and good road network - and probably look for a way to move out at least 30% of the people in Lagos now, it should be feasible in the next 15-20years... The governor(and subsequent governors) just need to be heavy handed and follow a blueprint on what they want to achieve...
Lagos has been undergoing Dev since Jakande regime, but all was stop by new governments. Do you think another government from another party will continue Fashola projects. |
Sad.... However, the state definitely needs this to be able to achieve its megacity dreams... But those of them who are from Lagos should be given shelter and those who aren't from Lagos should be asked to return to their home states...
We can't separate Lagos from Nigeria. We live in a poverty ridden country and Lagos is included. Magacity project is just a pipedream. |
ninja4life: Will these people just STFU.Wat gud has yoruba presidency done 4 d yorubas and d yrs of north ruling d country done to d northern populace who lives below poverty level, does in power cares abt demselves only and not deir tribe or nigeria in general, dey enrich demselves at d expense of nigerians but due 2 religious and ethnic sentiment we failed 2 hold dem responsible. Why dragging other tribes into your Igbo wahala. |
ocelot2006: Pls read my post again. The power stations listed were started by the current administration. And even if OBJ initiated NIPP, shouldn't this current administration be commended for actually executing, commissioning, and expanding the initial 7 power plants that the OBJ administration failed to achieve in 8 damn years? What is the difference BTW OBJ and GEJ, they are both of the PDP stock |
ocelot2006: You sure about that. Okay, i'll bite.He said mention Power Plants started by GEJ. Most of the once you mentioned here are the once started by OBJ. No need for abuses. |
Were is the agreement, document signed by various parties. |
Bliss4Lyfe: Animals Practicing Criminality (APC) have u seen ur handwork? Now our soldiers have died because of you.Try be reasonable for once. Are you PDP peeps always dumb. |
I'm glad you recognised that the call for Gov. Fashola to be voted president based on street lights is a call of st.upidity.! As for holding Gov. Chime responsible, I see absolutely no need for that as he handed over accordingly and all the ongoing works he left kept progressing even in his absence and the apparatus on grounds in Enugu state kept on it's optimum function. Hypocrisy. So Fashola don't deserve the to President because he built ordinary street lights, but your Chime that disappeared for months without informing Enugu peeps about his health is clean. Where is you LOGIC, or is it the usual politics and Tribalism. |
OkparaIgbo: Some people are clearly shameless.!This tread is not about Fashola for president, and what is about it. Pls hold Chime who disappeared for months accountable. |
OkparaIgbo: If at all there is any dead head here then it is yours..No apologies.! And who was not commending the work Gov. Fashola did..O boy just mind you business. This tread is about Fashola, you can open one for Chime if you like. Why create controversy over issues. |
Nice I need to increase my stock of zenith. Zenith is best banking stock for now. |

So hang on a minute, I should not show my disapproval on a call to Vote a Gov. for President of Nigeria because of commissioning streetlights in a state where over 80% still live in abject poverty and squalor? It is no wonder we have people in government positions taking us for a long ride..
Wake up Lagosians..! Wake up Nigerians.!! and begin to hold your leaders accountable, stop this fo.olish celebration of mediocrity
But to now make it a criterion to ask that we Vote him for Presidency in 2015 shows how dimwit some people are. Basically as you can see from some peoples responses including myself these achievements have been long attained with lil or no chorus to the respective Governors irrespective of how lil their allocations and IGR are in comparison to that of Lagos state. So why must you chant that Gov. Fashola be voted president 2015 because of street lights as if he was elected to supply candle lights on those streets. SMH for some Nigerians
