'I have just read Segun Adeniyi's new book, 'Against the Run of Play' which has so far enjoyed tremendous reviews in the media.
My take on it is that the book as presented contains many distorted claims on the 2015 Presidential election by many of the respondents.
There will obviously be more books like that on this subject by concerned Nigerians. However, I believe that at the right time, the main characters in the elections including myself will come out with a true account of what transpired either in major interviews or books'

Well, accommodation isn't really a problem, free light, and free transport to school.

I'm in a dilemma, and seriously need wise advice.
Here is my story-
I just rounded up my NYSC programme in one of the LGA in Nasarawa State. I served in a private school and was retained by the school. But, the problem is the pay, the salary is less than NYSC allowee (19,800). Although, the town is not really expensive, but the work load is much. So many persons advised me to take the job and not despise my humble beginning.

Right now I'm @ Kano (since schools are on break). While here, I went searching for better offers, in the process I met a lady who offered to help. According to her, there are no vacancies at the moment. But she came up with a business offer that has thrown me in this dilemma.

She works, and is also into making of pop corn and peanut, and wants to introduce me to the business. She wants me to be her marketer cum distributor. And in every bag I sell (a bag contains 50 pieces), I will make a profit of 500 for myself, but the transport cost is on me.

Now the problem is, this is my first time in Kano, I've never done any marketing business before. So the question is, should I stay back in Kano and run the business hoping to get another job soon or go back to Nasarawa State, and take the teaching job?

I actually use to hold reservations and restrain for the personality of GEJ irrespective of his abysmal performance while in office for the simple reason that he rightly conceded a deserved defeat. But not anymore.

Words attributed to GEJ from the excerpts of the new book implies that he conceded defeat not out of heartfelt conviction and genuine concern for Nigerians, but out of external pressure and fear for his position as a person.

My conclusion from his pathetic ranting and rambling is that GEJ is a shameless pathetic weakling who is not responsible and responsive.
Thank God the "affliction" do not rise the second time.

Don't just draw conclusion, this article, plus many others that make you think of Jonathan as evil, were all written by his enemies. So, don't judge him by this write ups, judge him by what you see and know.

lol. So many things. I realised through her that parental control is very important. While growing up, I was forbidden to talk to boys/men. I can never forget one incident that happened when I was about 13 years. I was sent on an errand and I met this guy on the road and we got talking . He started professing stupid love for me and even gave me his no. I stupidly took the paper home though I had no plans of calling him. My mum was waiting for me at the door bcuz I wasted time. Immediately she saw me, she started shouting and that paper made it worse. She started insulting me, asking me of the rubbish the guy bought for me so he could f**k me. She even pulled my pants ooo lol to know if I had done it but I refused and insisted I just talked on the road. I even called one of my friend 's name and said she would bear me witness.
My loving mum dragged me along with her to all her friends' houses one by one and starting announcing to all of them that her daughter has started "f**king. Even my so called friend I called as a witness denied seeing me. I cried my eyes out . I was so embarrassed and frustrated bcuz I was accused wrongly.
Ever since that day during my teenage years, I ran away from anything called "male". So while others were out partying and doing boys stuff, I was always on my own even in my university days .
I a m happy with the way I was trained because it has made me the proud lady I am today.
