PoliticsI’m In Biafra Struggle Not For Money But Right Of My People – Nnamdi Kanu by Emmyloaded(op):
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has said that he is in the struggle for secession not to make money but to ensure that the rights of the people of Biafra were restored.

Kanu spoke at the weekend at his Afaraukwu residence in Umuahia, Abia State, where some journalists visited him.

Kanu said if he wanted to make money from the struggle, he would do so, but he was not interested in money, but to ensure that justice and equity reign.

“This place where you are is my father’s compound, the government house which is just over there is my father’s land too. He gave it to the state government.

“Look at my father there(pointing his direction), you see him, he is a very modest and simple man. Did you see him carrying an air around himself or flying aeroplanes? Yet the government house is his property. That is the kind of life I live.

“Politicians have been coming here to beg me to soft pedal on the struggle, but I know they are not sincere. They simply want to get into power. Money does not move me, in fact what will I be doing with all the money if I make it,” Kanu asked rhetorically.

He stated that, the same politicians who called them noise makers, internet warriors, miscreants and so many names today sneak in to come and lobby him for support.

“They will always ask me to support them to get into office, that while they are in office, they will help push the cause, but I know that what they are after is the four or eight years they will stay so that they can make money.

He said the fears being entertained by politicians about the coming of Biafra republic were neither here nor there because Biafra republic would be founded on the principle of justice, equity and fairness.

He said “I don’t know why they are just afraid. Biafra will be a home for all people who agree with our values.

” If you are from Sokoto you can be a Biafran if you believe in our value system of equity, justice and fairness.

“I don’t even intend to be the head of Biafra republic in the end. I don’t like to always lead. I want to be led so that I can proffer solutions.
” If Uwazuruike had done well, I won’t be doing what I’m doing today. I’m into this struggle because of leadership vacuum.

I’m into this fight because my people are suffering; they are denied of their rights and privileges. Nothing will stop this fight. And I must assure you we are almost there. Biafra is almost here with us.

Asked whether he agreed with the late Igbo leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu that Biafra should now be a thing of the mind and not a geographical space, Kanu said Biafra had a geographical location and that the people of Biafra were known and defined.

HealthIf You Urinate Just Before S3x, Stop It Now Or….Read Terrible Reasons by Emmyloaded(op):
It’s common that most people urinate before s*x, but do you know that it could be dangerous to your health?Urologists throughout the world advise women not to urinate before they have s*x, but do that after s*x. This is because you can fall victim to a bacterial infection.

Bacteria enters the urethra through vag!na and when you urinate, the bacteria comes out. If you don’t urinate after s*x, the bacteria may enter the bladder, causing infection.

The urologist David Kaufman advises women not to urinate before s*x. He considers this the greatest mistake women have explained so far.

How to prevent bacterial infection

* The private part needs to be wiped from the front towards the back moreover, the gen!tals need to be washed for 100% hygiene.

* Urinating before s*x will negatively impact your health. Do this after s*x if you feel pressure and you should also consume a lot of water in order to prevent dehydration.

A Ritual Before S*x

* Use your diaphragm a contraceptive increases the risk of infection. While it pushes the bladder, it does not allow complete urination.

* You should say no to peeing before s*x.

* In case you feel extra pressure to urinate during s*x, you should release yourself and feel satisfied.

Jobs/VacanciesNigeria Police Force Set To Recruit 155,000 Personnel For Effective Policing by Emmyloaded(op):
In a bid to guarantee maximum security of lives and property, the Inspector General of Police, IGP‎ Ibrahim Idris said there is need for an additional recruitment of 155,000 personnel into the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

This addition will bridge the gap and attain the United Nations ratio requirement of one police officer to 400 citizens.

Over the years, there have been calls from different quota on the need for recruitment as the Nigeria police force currently lack the numerical strength to effectively secure the country’s geographical space and people.

The IGP, who stated this at the opening ceremony of the 2017 National Security Summit on farmers-pastoralist clashes, kidnapping and other forms of violent crimes and bank security in Nigeria, explained that if the requirement is to be taken into consideration, the Force needs to recruit at least 31,000 police officers yearly for a period of at least five years from now.

Idris, who also identified funding as a major challenge of the Force, called on the National Assembly to pass the Nigeria Police Reform Trust Fund (Establishment) bill.

“the Nigeria Police Reform Trust Fund (Establishment) bill is to further provide a legal framework that will outline the counterpart funding arrangement between the federal government, the states, local governments, and organised private sector, this is yet to see the light of the day.

“When the bill is passed, the funding through a first line charge on the Federation Account quarterly from the sources indicated above.”
Meanwhile, as part of the activities of the Police, the IGP noted that “in our effort to enhance security all over the country, the police is increasing the capacity to respond swiftly to challenges in all states of the federation through the establishment of more Police Mobile Force Squadrons.

“So far, seven additional Police Mobile Force Squadrons have been established in the following states, Osun state (Ilesha), Enugu state (Nsukka), Taraba state (Takum), Niger state (Kontagora), Plateau state (Shendam), Kaduna state (Kanfanchan) and Ogun state (Awa Ijebu).

“We have also established a school to train close protection units personnel in order to enhance their capacity and also the plan to establish more close protection basis in all states of the federation has been concluded.

“So far, 14 special protection bases have been established in the following states of the federation as follows: Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Plateau, Nasarawa, Ogun, Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, Borno, Yobe, Bauchi, Ondo and Zamfara.”

The opening session featured demonstrations by Special Police Force and other police attachments. which entailed the hovering of Police Helicopters hovering/maneuvering and rappelling.

Health15 Cancer Symptoms Women Always Ignore & How To Avoid Them by Emmyloaded(op):
Cancer Symptoms Women Always Ignore – Often when women suspect something, fear keeps them from talking to their doctor about it and that’s definitely the wrong way to go. Except in notable cases, if you think there’s something wrong, there probably is. Trust your instincts about your body, it could save your life.

Here are some symptoms, which are serious even if they don’t always mean cancer, people will often overlook or ignore that could be harmful in the long run:

1 • Chronic cough, chest pain, wheezing, or shortness of breath. Several types of cancer, including lung tumors and leukemia, can cause symptoms that are similar to a bad cough or bronchitis. Some patients say the pain will extend up to their shoulder and even down the arm.

2 • Breast changes. Most breast lumps aren’t cancer, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be investigated by a doctor anyway. Other changes may include: nipples that suddenly are inverted, nipple discharge, skin dimpling or puckering, (often called orange-peel skin) and scaliness or redness of the nipple or skin of the breast. This goes for everyone, not only women suffer from breast cancer.

3 • Swollen lymph nodes or lumps on the neck, underarms, or groin. Difficulty swallowing. If you have swollen lymph nodes or difficulty swallowing solids and liquids that’s progressively getting worse, it may be a fungal infection or it can also be cancer of the lymph nodes or esophageal tract – either way, it requires a doctor’s intervention.

4 • Bloating, abdominal pain, change in bowel habits, rectal bleeding, and/or blood in stool or urine. Women are natural bloaters, but if it doesn’t go away in a week or two, it’s time to see your doctor – particularly if it’s combined with bleeding or unplanned weight loss. All of these may mean ovarian cancer, but can also mean colon, bladder, or kidney cancer.

5 • Skin changes. If a mole or two is changing shape/color/size, it’s time to see your doctor. Immediately.

6 • Heartburn. Stress, alcohol, and too much food (and all three!) can cause heartburn. Try changing your diet for a couple weeks and see if it goes away… If it doesn’t? You may have stomach, esophageal, or ovarian cancer.

7 • Weakness or fatigue. Many people are exhausted from leading hectic lives, but tiredness that simply doesn’t go away? That isn’t healthy, particularly if it’s combined with any of the other symptoms on this list.

8 • Mouth changes. If you smoke, be on the lookout for white spots in your mouth or on your lips as both are a sign of oral cancer.

9 • Heavy bleeding or bleeding between periods. Many people report this as the first indicator of uterine or endometrial cancer. Ask your doctor for a transvaginal ultrasound.

10 • Pain, particularly in the back. Everyone has aches and pains, which is why this is so often overlooked. Ongoing pain can signal brain, bone, liver, breast, and many other cancers. Check with your doctor if any unexplained pains have lasted over a month.

11 • Changes in the nails. Unexplained changes in toenails or fingernails can indicate many different kinds of cancer. Be on the lookout for color changes such as white or pale beds or a brown/black streak or dot under the nail. Clubbing, enlargement of the ends of the fingers with nails that curve over the tips, is a sign of lung cancer.

12 • Abdominal pain accompanied by depression. While this one is rare, it’s also overlooked. Unexplained belly pain with depression can mean pancreatic cancer. Should you be worried? Only if your family has a history of the disease or you are a heavy drinker, then you should get in to a doctor straight away. Otherwise, if the pain doesn’t go away in a couple weeks, it would be a good idea to see a doctor anyway.

13 • Frequent infections or fever. A high temperature that can’t be explained and just doesn’t go away can mean leukemia or another blood cancer, share your concerns with your doctor immediately.

14 • Discharge. It isn’t something people talk about, but smelly or foul vaginal discharge can be a symptom of cervical cancer. The discharge may occur between periods or after menopause and sometimes will have blood in it. It’s best not to self-treat discharge changes with over-the-counter medications and visit your doctor. At the very least, it could be an infection and most of those can’t be treated with over-the-counter stuff anyway.

15 • Weight loss without trying. Nearly everyone wishes their extra pounds would just fall off, but losing more than ten pounds without any changes in your eating or exercise habits can indicate a big problem. Most unintended weight loss isn’t cancer, it can be the thyroid, but it may also be stomach, lung, or pancreatic cancer. Better to err on the side of caution.

Oloyede said: “As we set for the 2017 exercise, we have expanded on almost all the frontiers of the 2017 examinations. You may recall that last year, the examination was conducted in 524 centres. The 2017 UTME will hold simultaneously in 642 examination centres in Nigeria.

“A total number of one million, seven hundred and thirty-six thousand, five hundred and seventy-one (1,736, 571) candidates have registered for the 2017 UTME.

“We have started to install CCTV cameras at our test centres so that from the situation room, we can monitor what is going on across the country,” he said.

“At the moment, we have lodged complaints against a number of CBT centre owners for one infraction or the other and a number of them were arrested, cautioned, while others are to be prosecuted so as to serve as a deterrent to others,” he added.

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, on Tuesday disclosed that an agreement has been reached with Agip to build a refinery in Nigeria.

According to him, the 150,000 barrels capacity refinery will be located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Speaking with State House correspondents after the meeting between Agip top management and Acting President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Kachikwu said: “We just finished a meeting with the Acting President and Agip. In the meeting we dealt with the issue of Agip investment in Zabazaba field and their cooperation with us in the repairs of Port Harcourt refinery.

“During the meeting with Agip we reached an agreement that Agip will build a brand new refinery of 150,000 barrels capacity which will be located in Port Harcourt or Brass. They have accepted and preparing an MoU along this line.

“The effect of this is that oil companies operating in Nigeria will begin to migrate from only exportation of crude and begin to look on how to start refining this crude so that we will be able to meet our local consumption.

“This new refinery and along with other things we are going to do with the refinery in Port Harcourt give us hope in our quest to try and increase our local capacity to produce every refine product we need in the country and to meet the time line of 2019.”

He said the government is now going ahead to work out the modality with Agip.

The minister also called on other multinational companies in the country to see how they can toe the same line.

According to him, Agip, which has the second largest power plant, will be on stream by 2020.

He added: “This is to make sure they are not only just taking away crude but making other local investment.

“Total investment in area of power and the refinery from Agip is in excess of $15 billion.”
