When Jesus was sending out his 77 apostle to preach and win souls for Christ, one of the thigs he said to them was, 'What ever sins you forgive have been forgiven and whatever you bind on earth had been bound in Heaven'. From this portion does the issue of confessing to Priest arises cos they are the representatives of God on Earth. That doesn't mean that when u go for confession without preparing adequately and not truly being repentant, you would be forgiven. Lets get our arguments right.

The Vatican has extended its list of mortal sins to include 21st century issues such as genetic experimentation, pollution, social injustice, drug abuse and excessive wealth.

Published in the Vatican's official newspaper L'Osservatore Romano the extended list was revealed at the end of a week long refresher course for priests on the sacrament of confession.

According to the Roman Catholic faith a mortal sin must be confessed to a priest and if not absolved or forgiven, will lead to a person's soul being condemned to Hell after death.

Traditionally mortal sins are those which are a breach of the Commandments - murder, adultery, stealing and lying to name but a few.

The new sins were revealed by Gianfranco Girotti, bishop in charge of the Apostolic Penitentiary, the Vatican Department which deals with the forgiveness of sins.

Monsignor Girotti, 70, said: ''The reference for sin is the violation of Man's relationship with God and his fellow Man.

''Today there are various new sins which concern the rights of the individual and society and above all these are in the field of bioethics.

''Within this there are several fundamental violations of nature taking place - experiments, genetic manipulation, which are very difficult to control.

''Socially there is the field of drugs which weaken both intelligence and physically, leaving many youngsters outside the ecclesiastical (church) circuit.

''Then elsewhere socially we have inequality of wealth with the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer, this in turns feeds an ever growing social injustice.''

Monsignor Girotti led the confession refresher corse because surveys had revealed that the number of people going was declining.

Many said they felt that they ''found it difficult to talk'' to priests about their sin with some saying they feared a severe reprimand.

Monsignor Girotti said the aim of the course had been to teach priests to be less aggressive and more understanding in the confessional box.

Fifa boss Sepp Blatter has delivered a stinging rebuke to coach Berti Vogts over his spell in charge of the Nigeria national team.

The German quit the post last month in the wake of a hugely disappointing Nations Cup campaign after their quarter-final exit.

Blatter suggests that Vogts' inability to stay in the west African country during his reign could have been responsible for Nigeria's worst Nations Cup display for 25 years.

"My old friend Berti Vogts was in charge of Nigeria and he didn't even live in the country - that surely can't be the correct way proceed?," Blatter asked.

"Vogts was not living in Nigeria because he said his players weren't there. But to feel a team you must feel the country."

But Blatter believes national team coaches should come from the same country as the players and wants foreign coaches to be banned from national teams.

"In Africa recently, many of the countries competing in the Cup of Nations had foreign coaches but all have now gone," Blatter said.

"Of course, national associations are free to choose who they believe is the right man but I do think that the cause of international football would be made stronger with indigenous coaches.

"I cannot believe that it is possible to properly bring young players into international football and motivate them and bring improvement through a translator.

"I will bring it to the Technical Committee on Monday. If we had such a rule maybe it would impact on the freedom of the associations. But we can take up this matter."

They are planning on sending Ben Foster on loan to a championship side. I guess its fine at least to catch some games before the begining of Next season.

United is considering loaning him out to a championship side for the rest of the Season. At least to get some action.

my man, the kind of confidence u exude for Man Utd is quite encouraging. I used to do that but stoped after a major disappointment 2 season's ago but its now coming back. At least with the sort of team we boast of, at least 2 trophies are heading to Old Trafford and I pray UCL joins that.

Fellow United, we seem to be missing something which i will point out.
Every era in United had its own players. When RVN was here he got the passes and tuck them away effortlessly. But there was a problem. if Ruud was not playing well or out of form the likely hood of United scoring were very low. If he was marked out then it wasn't likely that Man U would score and if they do, it will be thru another person then we weren't able to pick up any major trophy then. Then, he left and what happened, CR7 from the RIGHT WING burst into life SAHA and ROONEY joined him and the Man UNITED TRINITY was formed 06/07. Any of them could score from anywhere. if Rooney was injured Saha was there (till lately)and CR7. Giggs was equally doing his best but not as effiecient as the Trinity. THERE WAS NO OUT & OUT Striker.

07/08, Saha's injury got the best of him and then after a prologed saga The Lion TEVEZ replaced Saha in the Trinity. At first, it looked like it was not gonna work but soon CR7 burst into life followed by Tevez then Rooney, and then the arguement of Tevez and Rooney beign the same died a natural death. They started scoring goals and tormenting defences. Yet, there WAS NO out and out striker. We look likely to get more trophies this with this format above all enjoy watching united play. Please apart from the Man City vs Man Utd game, tell me any other match this Season that Man U failed to score.
What am i trying to say; I won't say we don't need a Natural 9 but we should be prepared to see less of CR7 Tevez and Rooney because the style of play will change, and again the over dependence on one player to deliver. Then CR7 will be restricted to the wings abd fre kicks. There may not be Counter attackers as often as we have seen in United's games for two seasons running. Most goals we scored were thru counter attacks and the ever swapping of wings by these trio. WHO WILL U MARK and WHO WILL YOU NOT? I bet U if we had a natural 9, i don't think and u guys will agree with me CR7 would not have notched up as much goals as he has already in all competitions.
If it be know, in my opinion, I DON'T WANT BENZEMA. I would even prefer Manucho as our 9 if we decide to play one. But in the Event it is decided that Man U will sign one please of all the speculations, HUNTELAAR should FIND HIS WAY TO OT!!!
Benzema will need time to fit into Utd's game, He age won't give the necessary edge needed to cope with the Pressure of being a huge cost signing. He may not cope with the Physical Nature of the English football. As is associated with Foreign signing, they will need time to integrate and then when they do not play well, we begin to ask questions as regards the amount spent on them. I have always trusted our signing but pls i like to object to this one.
