Tony Spike: I have decided to analyze the scenario:Thank you for this brilliant analysis, unfortunately the d0nkeys on this thread will still not get the picture because their IQ is the same size as a cockroach's butthole. |
zetdee: Bloemfontein - A Nigerian man was shot dead after a high-speed car chase through Bloemfontein's streets, Free State police said on Thursday. Here we go again with people screaming xenophobia.Jeez even a goat will realize that this dead guy was involved in some shady business hence the high speed chase. If he was clean he would driven to the nearest police station. You live by the gun you die by the gun. Pretty simple really.Does it not surprise you guys that anytime a Nigerian get into trouble in South Africa it is always a Nigerian of eastern extraction? There are thousand of Yorubas in SA but they are never get harmed ,why is that so? Abeg make we hear word with all these xenophobia talk. Nigerians in SA should desist from criminals activities and they will enjoy SA like i am enjoying it. |
all4naija: Where is it stated it happens in Hillbrow? The likes of you are the ones making others to maltreat Nigerians abroad without looking back. It is clear you fail to defend the rights of Nigerians and thereby not defending yours. Please, your argument is very unreasonable. I can never support evil. South African policemen are evil.I used Hillbrow as an example ,i never said the guy stays in Hillbrow. You know nothing about me,absolutely nothing.I used to defend these guys until i realized that they will never change. It is because we defend them that they keep on committing crimes. It is easy for you to sit in Nigeria and assume things you have no first hand experience of.Why don't you come to SA and let me show you what our brothers are doing.I guarantee you that you will never support such evil that our brother partakes in except you are evil yourself.Evil begets evil.If these boys behave ,the police will not be able to maltreat them.I will no longer defend the indefensible as that will also make me a criminal. |
all4naija: Answer your question by yourself. You have seen the barbaric behavior of these South African policemen in action. They are so primitive you wonder if they are human beings with brain. One of them who said to have HIV threatened to r-a-p-e the girl with the other prostitutes they have in jail. What do you have to say about such a behavior in a policeman? That should be your homework.Yes the behavior of the police men is very bad but why is the Nigerian guy dealing in drugs? Is he not runing people lives by selling drugs.Do you really believe they planted the drug in his house? I know how our brothers like to lie when they are caught, there is no smoke without fire.Nigerians in South Africa should stop committing crimes and they will never get into trouble.I have been in South Africa for 12 years plus ,how come i have never been arrested before or beaten up by police? I also know many hard working Nigerians here who have never encountered harsh treatment from police. The South African police may be xenophobic but they always target Nigerians who are shady in nature and who live in drug dealing neighborhood. What is a decent Nigerian doing living in Hillbrow a well known Nigerian drug dealing zone?.If you saty away from crime no policeman can harass you.You people should ask this girl who tweeted this message why the Nigerian guy is not reporting the policemen to the authorities? Why is it the girls who are reporting the cops but the Nigerian is quiet. If his hands are clean why is he scared? SA is not like Nigeria ,if a policeman attack you without any just cause ,you can get him fired. This girl must not come here and tell us stories. We are on the ground and we see what is happening. How come other nationalities in Sa do not get this treatment? That is the million dollar question you should be asking. Our own too much abeg! The honest Nigerians in SA are tired of these criminals because they give us a bad image everywhere we go. |
A lot of ignorance on this thread. While the actions of the police officers are illegal, there is no smoke without fire. This girl tweeting said they found drugs in the guy's house, how does she know the drugs were planted by the cops? If they were present when the cops were searching the house ,when and how did they plant the drugs without the Nigerian seeing them? Was Nigerian and the girls sleeping while standing? Every time they find drugs in a Nigerian's house ,the Nigerian will start crying that the drugs were planted.Bullsh!ts! That well known drug dealer who was deported from Kenya also claimed that the drugs found in his house was planted? I am not saying the SA cops are not capable of doing this, they are capable of even doing worse. That being said there are Nigerians that the SA police can set up and there are Nigerians the SA police can not set up.If you live in a "drug dealing" neighborhood chances are that you will be subject to this treatment. If however you have decent job or business and you reside in a decent middle class neighborhood you will never have to encounter the SA police. I have lived in South Africa for over a decade and here is one thing i can tell all of of you who know nothing about South Africa. If you keep decent company and don't engage in crime ,cops will never visit you. I have been living in SA for over 12 years and not once have i been harassed by police or locked up because my hands are clean and i do not make friend with criminals. 95% of the Nigerian i have seen being arrested are guilty of one crime or the other.I always shake my head in pity when i see ignoramuses here dissing SA and it's people.Yes South Africans are xenophobic ,i won't deny that but the fact is if you are crime free ,you will enjoy SA and stay out of trouble. Many of my Nigerian friends have never had any trouble with SA police because they follow the rules of the country. When the police stops my car ,i speak to them politely, show them my papers and they allow me to move on.If you are rude to the police, act like you are nervous or start acting like you are too big to be questioned ,you will get in to trouble.I can not tell you how many times i have seen our Nigerian brother arguing and even physically struggling with SA police here. Let us stop being sentimental and tell ourselves the truth.I remember an incipient which occurred two years ago.I was in a Nigerian restaurant and the police raided the place and found drugs under the kitchen cabinet. It later turned out that the the Nigerian girl who owned the restaurant was stashing her boyfriend's drug in her kitchen for safe keeping.I was there and i saw that the drugs were NOT planted by the police. Our own too much! Come to South Africa and see with your own eyes how our brothers and sisters are disgracing our country especially those of Igbo extraction, you will weep for Nigeria when you see how they commit crimes with reckless abandon in SA. Nigerians are not the only foreign nationals in other parts of Africa, how come we are the only ones always getting in to trouble? There are Ghanaian too in SA and Kenya but you never hear of them being maltreated because they do not not misbehave like our Nigerian brothers. Watch the two videos below and see what Igbo Nigerians are doing in South Africa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E14BeQp0W4w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xISFxedkhl8 After you watch these two videos above you will never feel pity for Igbo Nigerian criminals operating in South Africa. Haba their own too much! |

gtrust: Nigeria is a very rich Nation yet you have only few places like Ikoyi, Lekki, Maitama, Asokoro, Banana Island etc available with some descent neighbourhood. That is my problem exactly ,the Nigerian property industry only caters for the rich.Even so called low cost housing cost millions. Why is the federal and state Governments not building affordable homes for the masses but are instead building overpriced flats which are not even worth the cement they used to build it? We have heartless leaders as well as heartless citizens who take pleasure in forcing their "greed" motivated prices on others. |
olubuffett: your comparison are wrong. You said properties in Nigeria are expensive, yet only Lagos was used as reference, what aboutI did not compare other parts of Nigeria because the infrastructure there is even worse off. Many properties do not have access to good roads ,yet they cost ridiculous amounts of money. Abuja and Lagos are the only cities in Nigeria that boast 10% of manageable road networks in the country.I own a few properties in South Africa but i don't own a single property in Nigeria because i don't feel the properties are worth what they are asking. |
Yoshi-Master:Alarm gini? Where do you think you are? USA or the dustbin country known as Nigeria? ![]() |
Good for him ,pity the construction quality of the house is poor. That house will not even cost up to N150,000,000 in another country. |
There is an issue which has been bugging me for a while and i just can't find answer an answer to it.Why are Nigerian properties so expensive as compared to other countries? I mean i have seen properties in Nigeria which cost an arm and a leg even though the quality of the construction and finishing is very poor when compared to houses in other countries with superior construction quality and finishing. Allow me to show you a one example : (A) Below is a house selling for N680,000,000 in Ikoyi http://www.privateproperty.com.ng/ogun-street-ikoyi-osborne-phase-1-p3206.htm https://www.privateproperty.com.ng/ftpupload/property/479130/images/img1_e.jpg https://www.privateproperty.com.ng/ftpupload/property/479130/images/img12_e.jpg https://www.privateproperty.com.ng/ftpupload/property/479130/images/img3_e.jpg If you convert N680,000,0000 to South African currency that will give you R42,467,013.Now below is a house in South Africa for just R17,000,000.The SA house below cost less than half the price of the Nigerian one even though ,it has superior build ,superior finishing,24 hours electricity, underground electrical wiring ,24hrs pipe borne water, tarred roads and is bigger than the Nigerian house. Can someone tell me why this is ? (B)For clarity the South African house below costs N272,685,462.18 http://www.privateproperty.co.za/meyersdal-m47484.htm https://c.homekey.co.za/ftpupload/property/766754/images/img1_e.jpg https://c.homekey.co.za/ftpupload/property/1203683/images/img1_e.jpg https://c.homekey.co.za/ftpupload/property/1203683/images/img8_e.jpg What is notably sad is that the interior of the Nigerian house looks so inferior when compared to the interior of the SA house which is visibly superior in all ways. The Nigerian house features 4 bedroom and 4 bathrooms while the south African house features 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. There is just no comparison ,the SA house is superior .Why then is the Nigerian house costing more than double the South African house? What is the explanation for this ? Can anyone shed light on why this is so as it really baffles me that this is what is going on in Nigeria. Could it be as a result of greed in the Nigerian property industry? It make absolutely no sense to me. |
I am also shocked,i did not expect that all.I did however suspect near the end when the mother froze and started to notice the strange behavior of the soldiers. One thing i like about this show is that it is unpredictable ,it can turn any way. |
collynzo2: We don't hear(take note of spelling) of yorubas arrested for drugs in SA but we hear of yourubas arrested for drugs in the US, for murder and attempted murder in the US, for trading human parts in Lagos. Don't divert, how did this become about Jonathan? You were mindlessly attacking Ibos hereDon't worry about my spelling ,worry about your people's horrible image. This is a forum so i am allowed to make mistakes here and there. That does not prove that you can spell better than me.When i am typing fast i tend to make a couple of mistakes in my comments but i am not bothered. As long as you get the message ,that is all that counts. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1aKCbYdmaQ The first few moments of Grid 2 should be a disaster. You're strapped into a bruising muscle car and immediately asked to negotiate the corners of downtown Chicago amid a cavalcade of roaring V8s. But rather than serving as a messy reminder of why so many driving games ease you in with something a bit more sensible, this opening race is a perfect example of what makes Grid 2 such a blast. This is a game that takes every opportunity to remove the barriers between you and the thrill of all-out street racing. With an exciting career mode and handling that strikes a great balance between arcade and simulation, it succeeds brilliantly at that task. Whether you're drifting through the hills of rural Japan or careening along California's Pacific Coast Highway, Grid 2 gives you the tools to perform some truly spectacular automotive feats. This is all thanks to a driving model that borrows equally from the forgiving handling of an arcade racer and the demanding physics of a driving simulator. Cars are nimble and highly responsive, but there's a very real relationship between your tires and the surface beneath them. You can give up only so much traction before a drift sends you spinning into a barricade, while accelerating too quickly out of a corner can spell disaster if you've forgotten that you're in a rear-wheel drive. There's this delicate balance between the flashy and the grounded, but it's a balance that Grid 2 pulls off extremely well. It's only fitting that with such an empowering driving model, Grid 2 treats you as an ambassador to the sport rather than a no-name up-and-comer. You're the poster child of the newly formed World Series of Racing, an organization designed to bring together drivers from all corners of the globe. Your job is to win over these international stars and convince them to join the cause. You do this by traveling the world and competing against everything from muscle cars in Miami to hot hatches in Barcelona to luxury sedans in Dubai. You'll even find yourself driving in supercars on real-world circuits, whether it's the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway or the relatively new Algarve Circuit in Portugal. All the while you're earning new fans to bolster the WSR, a sort of currency that propels you from one event to the next. Grid 2 features no shortage of spectacular locations, and every one of them looks gorgeous. From the golden sunset above the construction cranes of Dubai to the glittering lights of nighttime Paris, these environments feature an exceptional attention to detail. The varied selection of cars looks just as great, no matter if they're in pristine condition at the start of the race or shedding metalwork left and right via the game's frighteningly convincing damage system. The whole presentation is simply top-notch, right on down to the immersive soundscape of roaring engines and squealing tires. The frame rate occasionally drops during vicious collisions, but for the most part, Grid 2 is a smooth and technically impressive racing experience. There's a lot more to Grid 2 than its impressive presentation. This is a robust package with a lengthy and exciting career mode. You're constantly being introduced to new driving disciplines and event types. There are standard offerings such as elimination and time attack, as well as more specialized events such as drifting contests and touge, an automotive ballet where two cars race through narrow mountain roads and any collisions lead to an immediate disqualification. But the most fun can be found in an event type called live routes. Normally urban locales like Miami and Dubai are divided into six or so predefined tracks, each taking you on a tour through different areas of the city. What live routes do is generate a dynamic layout that stitches together sections from every single one of those six tracks. It's an event where you never know what's around the next bend, which keeps you on your toes as you maintain an exacting focus on each randomly selected turn. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcQdz1Rdet8 Score: 8.5/10 Source : http://www.9jatalks.com/content.php?r=173-GRID-2-Gameplay-Review www.gamespot.com |
GenBuhari: I hope you were protesting as loudly when Thief Obasanjo was in power for eight ruinous years.Check my post and you will see how i protested against him.I am not an obasanjo fan but he was way better than Jonathan. Jonathan has taken us backwards instead of forward and corruption under him has become open and shameless. All i am saying here is that there are new kids on block .The OOdua Defence Force is an Armed Revolutionary Group that will fight for the secession of the OOdua Nation from Nigeria if Jonathan is relected as President. If Igbos want Jonathan to be their President ,they can have him.We Yorubas don't want him and don't need him.The Igbos and The naija delta can keep their oil ,we don't need it.What we need is freedom and the opportunity to elect credible honest and intelligent leaders who can make good use of all the resources available in Oodua land. Unlike MEND and Boko Haram ,we will not attack innocent civilians ,we will only target politicians if need be and if the Nigerian Military chooses to get involved we will also engage them.We have a right to self determination and will not want to be led by Jonathan after 2015.This may seems like a bluff to many but come 2015 we will see what is happening.Ours is not an organisation of militants but a formidable force of highly trained tactical combatants with advanced weaponry and systems. We are well funded and our men are ready to die for the motherland. We have chosen to wait till 2015 to see how this all turns out but one thing that is certain is that Jonathan will not rule over Oodua beyond 2015. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7340/8889955897_f94d6c3c52_m.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5342/8892860111_4907c29fdc_m.jpg |

all4naija: This is nonsense. This is a child talk. If that is it then such a little issue as kidnapping turning into nuclear fight, which I know can never happened ,might spark nuclear arm race as well. I don't think Pakistanis have the capability to fight long range war as from their location to Nigeria. They might face many problems that will diminish their strength. The AU might get involved and the proliferation of nuclear arms will start immediately. The UN will never allowed such in the first case. So, the Nuclear talk is just a child's blab.Really? So it is not child talk when the previous posters here threatened to attack Pakistan. You Sir need to get your coffee as you are still dazed from yesterday's hangover. No one said this matter will lead to war.I was just educating the obviously illiterate and pathetically dumb NLers here who do not have an inkling about Pakistan's Military strength. It irritates me when all these clueless buffoons come here to talk about issues in a way that depicts their acute ignorance about foreign nations. |
maxwello.yg:Funny how you choose not to address me directly but hide behind the skirt of lekkie073. Talk about weaklings ![]() |
lekkie073: Rantings of an inferior thinkerAre you sure about that? How about you take me on in an intellectual debate? Let's see how far you get before your brain over heats.Don't mistake my choice of language for lack of intelligence, rational thought or proper vocabulary. You will be shocked when i floor you in a debate so cool off with your "I am superior to you attitude".I have taken on people like you before only to discover that they are fronting and have no ability to reason intelligently or display evidence that their IQ is above 100. |

No more nonsense leadership. We Yorubas have a right to self determination so if the wrong leader is elected we will opt our of the sham marriage called Nigeria. The Oodua nation is prepared to fight for freedom and good leadership. We are highly trained ,armed and ready.Semper fi Oodua Defence Force,For Honour and Glory. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7340/8889955897_f94d6c3c52_m.jpg |
