Why according to Islam was Jesus born of a virgin? Again Islam has no answer. The virgin birth is a major reason for Christians to believe that Jesus is divine, the Son of God.
Jesus Speaking from the Cradle In chapter 19:30 of the Koran Jesus speaks from the cradle. This is found in an earlier legendary text - Syriac Infancy Gospel (1:2). Why would Jesus do that in Islam? Again no reason.
