When Obj came to power in 1999, first let me address the fact that you tried to put blames on fulani. Fulani are not responsible for your miserable lives in the SS and SW. In '99 after election, Obasanjo did little to nothing for the SW (Yoruba) and preferred to do much for the North because, according to him, Yorùbá did not vote for him. Ask yourself. Is this Democracy?. In America democracy, once president wins, he becomes president of the nation not only to those who voted for him. US president continues to perform his duties for all Americans but this was not the case with Obj. Obj specifically said Yorùbá did not vote for him. That Hausa/Fulani voted for him and so he invested everything there and improved the region than his own tribe. That's for that.

Now concerning Abuja national church, the muslim North have the right to take over that nation church today if they so wish. Why?. Because when obj came to power, he tasked all States in the country #100 billion each from what I read but it could be more. From what I read, it was in 1974 when Nigeria wanted to borrow money from OIC ORGANIZATION OF THE ISLAMIC CONFERENCE. What did Christians do?. They coerced Gowan govt to shun OIC and borrow from IMF instead.

OIC is a Muslim organization and they followed Islamic guidelines on borrowing and lending money. They were going to loan Nigeria millions of naira interest free loan which is what Islam Commanded.

On the other hand, CAN, bcus of hatred for Islam, even knowing the benefits of interest free loan went against it and advised govt to borrow from IMF. That money borrowed from IMF is still being repaid till today. Your generation will forever service the loan because it is interest based.

Also pilgrimage. I am 100% against govt funding pilgrims to Mecca. But pilgrimage is mandatory tenet in Islam for only abled muslims. In 1990, Christians in Nigeria headed by CAN were funded for 10yrs by foreign govts to end Islam in Nigeria before year 2000 and islam is still here today. They failed but they are still trying. It is for this reason I was quick to look into Isa Pantami's case. The guy that brought his 2006 statement is a christian named David.

Finally, look at media houses in Nigeria. That's the worse. They occupied these places. They report what they want people to hear. They are very disrespectful to Islam and Muslim. Do your own research on that. But I will give you one example.

An elderly Muslim man was invited to deliver lecture on radio station controlled by Christians but it is govt owned station and they play christian hymns and quote Bible all the time. So during this paid Muslim program, Christians disrupted his program live by quoting Bible and playing Christian music on Muslim program. And many cases like this and yet they claim they are marginalized?. How about the case of former CAN president, Ayo Oritsejafor that was accused of money laundering and smuggling ammunition through South Africa?. Was he even detained, interrogated, tried and jailed?. No. Because he's a "big man". The case died down because he's backed by CAN. They know how to persuade govt to get off it. Is this not worse than Isa Pantami?.

I don't mean to interject anyhow in this conversations but I like to input something. Waraqa ibn nawfal was not Christian. He was nassara. It was translators that translated nassara to Christian. There were no Christians or CHRISTIANITY in Mecca and Medina those days. CHRISTIANITY came from Rome. The people that lived or that prophet Muhammad met in Medina were Jews and Nazarene (nassara).

So it was wrong translation on the part of translators but I can understand why they translated nassara to Christian for understanding purposes. So waraqa ibn nawfal was not a Christian but nassara. Christianity is another religion entirely from Rome. It is more like hearsays about Jesus not religion of Jesus. As you can see in the screenshot, they quoted "Christian" to indicate "so called".

As for Hanif, Hanifa means the same as Islam. It is only name. So Hanif means ISLAMIC monotheism (Q3:67) مَا كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَهُودِيّاً وَلاَ نَصْرَانِيّاً وَلَكِن كَانَ حَنِيفاً(Hanif) مُّسْلِماً وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ. As you can see from the definition provided by op, Hanifa, Hanafiya etc means serving and believing in One God. This is contrary to Trinity or 3 gods as in CHRISTIANITY. There was no CHRISTIANITY in Medina and Mecca. You can see that waraqa ibn nawfal recognized prophet Muhammad when he came because his scripture told him so. So if he was Christian, why don't Christians today recognized prophet Muhammad if they are truthful?. Waraqa ibn nawfal converted to Islam when he recognized Muhammad.

So this is 2006 statements. Why brought it out now to make it look like it is recent?. Besides, he was quoted. There is no video evidence which means translators might influenced the statements. His words were translated by italian christian. The same way Iranian president's statements were misconstrued by media.
