I'm pleading to brothers here again to please stop this unnecessary bickering. You can not solve sectarianism - not in our lifetime. So why screwing yourselves over it?. Tragic incidents in Saudi were made possible by Allah's permission. That's what I believe. And whether Najd referred to by the prophet(SAW) is Saudi or elsewhere, only time will tell. One thing to be respected is different views. Yes, must be respected. I do not like the idea of turning every discussion quickly into sectarianism. It's not healthy. We become laughing stocks any freaking time we do that. Differences can be discussed without putting on boxing gloves. Hajj is for Muslims NOT Sunni/Shia. We disrespect Allah and His messanger by arguing over this silly thing- yes, very silly. Allah does not guarantee safe returns after Hajj. We see quiet number of ahadith to this effect. There is no guarantee anyone would complete Hajj safely. Besides, there are firm Muslims who pray so hard to die in Mecca. Some of them might even be among the victims. May Allah Have mercy on them. THEY ARE SHUHADAH What is guarantee is if Hajj is properly performed, reward must be nothing PARADISE. We need to stop blame games/politrics. This is Hajj- extraordinary event not Sunni/Shia crap. |

Ok. ..we hear una. Let's draw curtain over this sectarian differences. Purpose of this thread long lost. And of course, it would as the incident fades off. Ulama have differences in the issue of Najd and Both sides brought evidences from same sources. Anyways, keep us posted as you hear latest on Hajj incident |

Where Is Najd? He Gave Little Speech On It. But This is Not The Video I Was Looking For. He Made An Hour Long Lecture On Najd About Two Years Ago. Can't Find The Clip Yet. This One Is Recent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bw5SsSg1vLY |
Demmzy15:More than that brother. I just watched it again to be sure I posted the right video. He did talked and confirmed authenticity of the hadith. But he gave detail analysis location of Najd. You will see when you watch it. The reason why the geographers and scholars of the old were correct is because of the way they understood their topography and land. Mind you that, many of those promoting the idea of Najd(Saudi) base this on modern maps, which are based on modern day borders. But geographers and scholars of the old drew their maps from South to North(pole) unlike ours today. This is not restricted to Muslims alone but to other older geographers like Plotemy. Please read more http://www.1001inventions.com/node/1615You raised good point here. Well, we will see. I have another video with details as well by Sheikh Imran. Can't post it at the moment. But the brother up there actually used ahadith throughout including majmah fatawa of Sheik ul Islam (ra) and early scholars to prove his point. Na'am, he actually focused on the authenticity of the hadith when it's well known how authentic the hadiths are. I'll watch later sha!He has no problem with authenticity of the hadith of Najd at all neither do i. Bro, please I want you to go through this article when you're free. It's important http://www.dajjaal.com/liar/articles/gvokb-the-dajjaal-anti-christ-will-appear-after-70000-from-bani-ishaq-conquer-constantinople.cfmI will.....in sha Allah. Thanks |

logical man. .how u dey? . Jonny is another pain in the neck like u..lool. But we dealt with him like we did u. ![]() |
Demmzy15:No problem. I watched the video months back. ..can't really brief on it at the moment. It's true some scholars did their geographical research in the past. But there are more researches on the subject in recent decades as well. You know, as you rightly said, it's their opinion and other scholars have opinion to be respected too. Brother in the video is in favor of najd located in Saudi Arabia. He gave detail analysis. Just like we discussed before on "the conquest of Constantinople", ulama at large believe throughout the centuries that it already took place. But revisiting ahadith to this effect indicate that the event is still ahead of us. Point is opinion is not binding. I think you should try the video again in a little while. You may be having network problems. On hajj issue, muslims really need to comport themselves and accept what Allah decreed for those people. We all know how great it is for someone to die in Islam Holiest site. I'm sure at least one person from supposed 717 or 1200 hujjah prayed to die in Mekkah someday and Allah brought it fourth. We should not be sectarian addict over this. In sha Allah, the victims are shuhadah and may Allah accept their good deeds and grant them Janna Firdaus. |
@Demmzy15, i disagree with you, sir. There is currently an attempt to divert attention of muslims from Najd referred to by the prophet(SAW). Now, my contribution on this is not in any way meant to blame Saudi authority for recent incident. I do not hold them deliberately responsible unless and until firm evidence suggests otherwise. I already drafted my opinion on this stampede incident here https://www.nairaland.com/2624196/see-whos-responsible-hajj-stampede#down Where Is Najd? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbHymIJWMfA |

nawebco:walaikum Salaam . Tell the brother to be closer to Allah. That's very important. I don't know how religious he's but he knows himself better. Adhkaar is what he needs. Try this out. I got this from sheik Isa Akindele and reported in Hadith. The issue of cobweb is common now as I heard. It's nothing but crumb. Nothing to fear. Tell the brother to recite: Surat fathia, Ayat kurusiyu, surat Kafirun, iklas, falaq, nas (3×) in the morning and night. He should also recite them 15x in water and shower with it for 15 days. In sha Allah the nonsense will go away. And of course there are bunch of other dua but take steps at a time. But the brother definitely needs to be steadfast on islam. As bro kawzlaw said up there he should have permanent adhkaar every morning and night at least. Every muslim should have adhkaar he does after every salat. Don't just pray salat and leave. Sit down and do little bit in the afternoon and do more in the morning after Fajr. |

leunamme93:Well, one of the qualities of being muslims is to submit to Allah - The Creator. The incidents during Hajj is extraordinary event. Muslims know too well that hajj related incidents (death) are rewardable afterlife. This is common knowledge. One of the purposes of hajj is unification of adherents of islam. There should be absolutely no room for bickering if we truly believe. Death incidents at Arafah is of two (2) realities that are opposite of each other. First reality is that of painful deaths with bodies everywhere, whether it was mistake, negligence or deliberate. Loved ones sob, mourn and count their lost. This is material reality. Second reality is base on iman (faith) and (qadar) fate. Muslims know too well the "benefits" of dying in Islam Holiest site especially during Hajj. There are tremendous rewards for those people. There are evidences in islamic text to support this. Hajj Wipes Off Past Sins: Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet (SAW) said: "He who performs Hajj for Allah's pleasure and avoids all lewdness and sins will return after Hajj free from all sins as he was the day his mother gave birth to him. " (Bukhari & Muslim) Abdullahi in Mas'ud narrated that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Alternate between Hajj and Umrah (regularly), for these two remove poverty and sins just as the blacksmith's bellows removes all impurities from metals like iron, gold and silver. The reward for Hajj Mabrur is nothing short of paradise. " (Nasai and Tirmizhi, who what's it sounds hadith) The Reward For Hajj Is Paradise: Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet muhammad (SAW) said: " All sins committed in between the performance of one Umrah and another are expiated and erased, and the reward of Hajj Mabrur is nothing save Paradise." In another sound hadith in Jorail relates from Jabir that the Prophet(SAW) said: " This House of Allah (the Ka'bah) is the pillar of islam, so whoever heads to it with the intention of performing Hajj or Umrah is under Allah's security. If he should die (during his trip) he is granted Paradise, and if he returns home safely, he returns with reward and gain. " The above are enough evidences to do away with silly politics, blame games and sectarianism. In islamic epistemology, the dead bodies of pilgrims we saw are nothing but shells. The souls of the dead looked at it and snubbed. They smile and rejoice at great rewards ahead while you and I critisize, cry, mourn and bicker. But the Angels are saying to them (the dead) "fear not this is the reward which you are promised" That said, does that mean investigations should be avoided and possible negligence, mistakes etc should not be persecuted?, no sir. Investigations should proceed. If it was act of negligence by entity responsible, or that a Prince who thinks he's above the law caused stampede surge should be brought to book. I do not buy the idea that pilgrims did not follow instructions. They are thousands of people at the Arafah and I can't stomach such a silly lie. I also frown at the way bodies piled up showing less regards for them. Bodies should be treated with respect. If this had been non-religious related issues, I would support blaming govt outright. But this is extraordinary event (Hajj) where muslims converge and set aside differences. Its purpose must be fulfilled. In conclusion, you may say everything I said up there is bs, that's your prerogative. Yes, we learn from our mistakes. Preventive measures should be observed by next Hajj. Eld Mubaraq! |

AlBaqir:Alhamdulilah There are two statements I appreciated in this whole lecture of Sheik Imran Hussein.Yes, he never shied from saying that. Funny enough he denied being Sunni or Shia. That's not scholastic. {I never meant to be rude}Hunm, again, you misunderstood this. The ONLY reason behind saying he's not Sunni or Shia is basically to get out of sectarianism. In one his videos during Q & A session, he said 'I'm Sunni. It depends on the subject matter. He can be Sunni but reject some of their theories. What's up with that?. Sheik Imran Hussein: # That the whole Ummah unanimously accepted the Khilafah of Abu Bakar.Again, does it make any difference whether Imam Ali(RTA) became first or last caliph?. If he did not become leader at all would have been different. I said this before but I didnt get your opinion on it. FAMILY RULE?!Muslims during the regimes of Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman, were they misguided?. There are explicit ahadith in Sahih Muslim and Bukhari that testified to the apostasy of the Sahaba after the demise of the prophet. This, coupled with other sound hadith from Ali documented and authenticated by prominent Sunni scholars which reads from Ali: Part of what the Prophet told me is that the Ummah will betray me after his demise. In one of his lectures at some point, he acknowledged strange event that happened after the demise of the prophet(SAW). He said some people from Quraish reverted to kufr. Were those people any of the four "rightly guided caliph"?. Allah praises these early Muslims including the first four Muslim leaders. "And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment." 9:100 |

AllNaijaBlogger:No one. The saudi government must be on the hot seat.Of course no one denies this. Two tragedies happened in their different holy sites.Yea, things happen. They had no foreknowledge of it. The blame game is perfect on this matter- the Saudi govt must account for what happened.Empiree is indifferent. What he's saying is to allow investigations take it course. Either way, Saudi govt will pay the price but the way folks play politricks is what I detest. Let the govt do investigations and persecute company charged with this responsibilities. Is that too much to wait on?. |
