I watched a Matt Walsh episode recently where he postulated that the trans movement is the progeny of political radical feminism. Big Corp is the one pushing them. They have a lot of cool people, but a lot of them are wild because of the power given to them by big corp. Their case is just like black Americans that had no voice, got some power through the civil rights movement and today we see that some of them have weaponized racism and any constructive critical criticism is racism to them. 6 Likes |

The naive ones are shouting Obidient on Twitter while the water resource bill has been sneaked back into the senate. A bill that will make the Federal government own all water bodies in the country thereby centralising the already centralised unitary government. Will Peter Obi use the constitution of the UK to rule Nigeria? Nigerians are politically naive and they will keep suffering for it. |

This is one of the dangers of One Nigeria. It has already happened in the middle belt where foreigners are more in population than the indigenous people in a local government. These people will soon demand a representative in the Senate as they did in the middle belt. 1 Like |

Like they say, the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing Nigerians that Nigeria's problem is because of incompetency or corruption. Suddenly Peter Obi is now better than Goodluck Jonathan. Who in your list is better than Obasanjo and Goodluck? Many of our youths will have sense after the politicians are done with their future. |
Culture / Re: "Abobaku" Of Oyo Kingdom Currently On The Run? by Enceladus(m): 4:38pm On Apr 24, 2022 |
Karleb: I definitely thought about that initially when I discovered this fact, but then I know that the Yoruba's don't care about royalty before they apply the law. An Oyo crown Prince was disciplined and whipped by a mere village chief for trying to sell a fellow Yoruba, Kings and princes were forced to commit ritual suicide when they break the common laws, and more popular that people don't mention for some reason: Two people dies with the Oyo king, The Abobaku and the crown Prince. That was a tradition they practised until the fall of Old Oyo and precisely when Adelu was king. So I don't believe that the Alaafin was spared because he was a royal. There are other many more proofs that the Twins killing is actually a lie, but the story of the hunt will always glorify the hunter until lions learn how to write. My point remains, Abobaku is a stupid tradition. It should be abolished Totally accepted it should be and in fact it was abolished. People are just being sensationalistic by spreading the narratives. I don't think it's stupid though. The people lived in a different reality from us, they act from that reality. |
Culture / Re: "Abobaku" Of Oyo Kingdom Currently On The Run? by Enceladus(m): 8:00am On Apr 24, 2022 |
Karleb: Mass killing of twins was never a thing in our culture. It's a lie perpetrated by the British to justify colonization to their citizens. There are notable people that are twins in our history. An Alaafin was a twin for example. Slave trade also was never part of our tradition. Some corrupt powerful individuals sold slaves they bought from Hausas and the ones they captured from modern day Benin Republic. The whole Yoruba people hated it, and you can't even sell any Oyo person to slavery. Slave trade was never a tradition. |
