Learn to do researchs before calling everything a scam. The plan was initially made for Facebook and Whatsapp...basically social media. However, we got a way to use the said data for downloads using opera mini. Earlier today, Airtel decided to revise the plan, reducing the data allocated to the prices. The only mistake Airtel made however is that they also revised the data allocated to those that had already subscribed. That was not right. But calling the plan a scam because u could not download when it clearly was not made for downloads is wrong

Jasper is a very aggressive dog, but her owner claims she has really watered down, you can't blame her in, human age she should be 70years or more.

So I presumed wrong, she didn't litter this morning she was just preparing a comfortable environment for her offspring. On getting outside, I saw her growling at her owners customer (¹ See footnote). On sighting me close to the bush(² See footnote) she changed focus and charged towards me, damn she was growling and coming towards me as fast as her mammary gland and embryos could permit. When I noticed the hostility it was probably too late to scamper so I half screamed "Jasper" only for her to jump and start wagging her tail with her forelimbs on me.

This was the first time I was this relieved and happy to give her a well deserved rub. Now she has started being overly protective.

¹ Her owner's mother runs a shop outside, they are the landlords.

² Our compound houses two houses, we are accommodated in one while the other has been neglected. The owner of that house put it in the hands of a caretaker who hasn't done a thing except roofing. So it has grown bushes, and it is here Jasper will whelp.
Don't know why, but I'm kinda hooked to your story. Need updates on Jasper

I may have to be more discriminating when deciding to who to respond to in future

I will try and answer your post, not because I believe it is of any particular value or worth replying, but just to show how events as they happened are considered irrelevant, when the defence of a beloved character is of utmost concern. Seems like even the facts are not allowed to get in the way of your narrative

For instance.

This is a bold faced lie.

Lord Glover on why he refused to answer Jon -

"Yes, my family served House Stark for centuries. We wept when we heard of your father's death. When my brother was Lord of this castle he answered Robb's call and hailed him King in the North! And where was "King" Robb when the Ironborn attacked this castle? When they threw my wife and children in prison and brutalized and killed our subjects? Taking up with a foreign wh0re... getting himself and those who followed him killed."

You can see that Glover is clearly questioning Stark Leadership here....No mention of the word 'Bastard'

Lord Manderly on why he refused to answer Jon -

""Lady Mormont speaks harshly... and truly. My son died for Robb Stark, the Young Wolf. I didn't think we'd find another king in my lifetime. I didn't commit my men to your cause because I didn't want more Manderlys dying for nothing."

Again the questions of leadership is raised, framed against a concern that Jon would have the Manderlys die for nothing'

Both Lords are very particular in pointing out that the safety of their men was of utmost priority, and neither one of them felt that Jon could guarantee their continued safety.

Another bold faced lie. Davos never sold Jon to Lyanna as a great leader. Instead he appealed to her instinct for self-preservation.

His speech below

"Jeor Mormont and Jon Snow both understood that the real war isn't between a few squabbling houses. It's between the living and the dead. And make no mistake my lady, the dead are coming."
As long as the Boltons hold Winterfell, the North is divided. And a divided North won't stand a chance against the Night King. You want to protect your people my lady, I understand. But there's no hiding from this. We have to fight. And we need to do it together"

I agree...which is why I did not focus on that in isolation. Like I said, he saved some of them from the whitewalkers and then offered them sanctuary at Castle Black doing away with a tradition that has held several centuries, and at the expense of his own life...yet these guys are still reluctant to fight for him at Winterfell. He has made enormous sacrifices to keep the wildlings alive, and yet was still unable to muster their loyalty without help- HOW COME?

This is exactly the point. The Lord Commander of the night's watch perfomed an noble act that was morally right. Yet his subordinates disagreed so strongly with his decision that they actually chose to MURDER HIM. If that is not the biggest exhibit of a lack of faith in his leadership, then I don't know what is.

I'm done with this debate. I cannot continue to repeat myself and deal with the same non-coherent arguments time and again.

No vex bo cheesy
Just to end this argument.
I don't think either of the houses would have committed men regardless of who was leading the charge. Their main concern was with losing more men, not that Jon was in charge. They never questioned his leadership, they questioned the cause.

His calvary went after Jon before he signaled his archers.

Jon charged forward without thinking. He let his emotions cloud his judgment. It was after he charged forward that Ramsay sent his cavalry.

Or am i remembering wrongly?.
He signalled the archers first. They shot, it got Jon's horse, it stumbled, Jon fell, he got up, saw the calvary coming, drew his sword...the rest is history

Mate Jon Snow is a terrible commander and if you've been paying attention, you will notice that nobody seems to trust him as a leader....well, except for Tormmund and that little girl.

At Hardhome, despite the threats of the whitewalkers, despite the intervention of Tormmund who personally beat one of their leaders to death, the majority of the wildlings refused to follow him.

At Castle Black, some of his own subordinates consider him a traitor and kill him, and in the meeting where Aliser explains his logic to the members of the watch, we see that majority of the nights watch agree with his killing. Again, Jon has to rely on Tormmund to prevail on the members of the watch so that he could take his revenge.

When it came to the time to fight the Boltons, the major lords refused to trust him. Sansa refused to trust him. Tormmund had to remind the remaining wildlings about how Jon had to literrally die for them. Even the Lyanna had to be talked into backing Jon by Davos!

It is important to note up until the battle of the bastards, literally nobody trusts in Jon as a leader. Tormmund is loyal to Jon as friend and not as a leader. Tormmund has described himself as not being clever, and was ignorant of battle tactics as seen during the discussion with Jon and Davos.

Davos himself stressed how important it was to stick to the plan. Sansa told him that Ramsay would act in the way he did.

We can see that at almost every stage of his journey, Jon's judgement has (rightly)been questioned by many of the characters he interacts with. Even his own babe called him an Olodo.

So this is exactly why, I'm not judging Jon in hindsight. Everybody knew he would fuckup. This guy has constantly and consistently been one of the most idiotic characters in the GOT universe. Which is why I find it exceptionally galling that none of the Nothern Lords noticed this post-BoB
All these may be true, but a certain Lord Commander Mormont had faith in him to be a good leader. Ser Aliser and the widling leaders didn't trust him, but you have to agree the actions he took were 100% correct. If the widlings had been left across the wall, the war against the dead would be as good as lost. The houses in the north didn't back him when he called, but they agreed after the battle it was the wrong decision.
Jon may have made mistakes along the way, but the good ones out way the bad ones

I think it was a look of reverence. If you read meaning to their conversation, you'd see that his look was that of awe towards her. He even admitted that he didn't believe in anything before because of what he thought it did to people, but couldn't help believing in her. He BELIEVES in her. He wants to serve her. He wants to make sure her reign is long. This is the first time Tyrion has thrown his weight behind anyone for the throne. He doesn't love her.

Was frustrated when the guy said should they write 3 months later like naija movies, and another one saying some people want GoT to be showing them when Dany wakes in the morning, eat breakfast and other sh!t to i got to replied that in their face. But my point is even if there is no dialog during road travel or characters going to other places, they should just depict it somehow. Can you imagine someone here even said the Iron Island (Pyke) is not far from Meeren, and that's how Yara and Theon got to Meeren so fast. Another thing is if you watch closely lack of reportage in time travel started in season 6. So maybe its because they didn't have G.R.R.M book 6 and they were also twisting and doing hollywood on characters
I concur @bolded

1. He was lord commander of the nights watch which is not a small honor..Lord mormont had d same and he was a known man...He has Stark blood as d good lady Mormont later pointed out. He is a highly skilled swordfighter as Ramsey himself attested to it, from the words of both his friends and enemies, and he might not be such a good tactician his emotions failed him at d battle of the bastards and datz just it.
2.They all swore alliegance to house stark and still refused d call, she didnt honor makes them lesser men, before her till they redeem themselves, sense also cos her specific words to them about what d boltons did to them still they didnt rise up above them is enough to make dem meek.
3.Jon said it all and i quote " Freefolk, the Northerners and the knights of the vale fought bravely, fought together and we won...my father used to say we find our true friends at the battle field" what more do u want songs will be sung of that battle in years to come everybody knows they swung the winning sword.....the rest of the northerners dont need that knowledge rubbed on their faces.....

Guy you need to think, nobody said they should be putting 3 months later. GoT manage time frame and time travel from season 1 to 5. Season 6 was just were writers intend to put characters wherever they like and also put in some elements of surprise, like Arya serving at the twins. Arya's journey to Braavos for example, we all saw how she boarded a ship to braavos. Ned and King Robert entourage we all saw as they went through king's road and how dramas ensued. Transportation of Tyrion in a box to pentos. But season 6 some characters were just placed wherever they want them to be without accounting for time travel. Please if you no get wetin i dey talk just shut up and dont quote with your shiit that do i expect them to write 3 months later.
There is no need to result to petty insults. Its a discussion. All he is saying is that some character's journey don't need much emphasis. When GOT elaborates on a journey, its because there is a dialog or event in that journey that is crucial to the story. What would Sam and Gilly's conversations be like. We all say what it was on the ship. So I don't think showing the journey was crucial. The same can be said of Varys'

GuyFawkes:
Game of thrones definitely has a feminist agenda . It’s subtle but apparent”It does indeed, it is very clear in the books. George RR Martin is a self proclaimed feminist and tries to elements of it into most of his work. The three main take ome points from A Song of Ice & Fire (and Game of Thrones) are;1. Feminism is good. (cough… )
2. Monarchy is bad/
3. War is bad. All these points can be seen throughout GoT. I d find it funny that people look at the show and see Daenerys as the hero of the show (or books for that matter). When you stop to think about it she is one of the stories main antagonists. She is about to invade a country and bring unspeakable death to its people with 1. The Dothraki, whose custom is to sack and r@pe as they conqueror and also the Iron Born whose way of life is reiving. She also has an incredible entitlement complex, constantly claiming that the Iron Throne is hers by right… I’m afraid it isn’t. Your father lost it to the Baratheons you have no right to it. She is clearly turning into her father the “Mad King”. Evermore willing to burn cities to the ground not caring that those cities are made up of slaves and normal people who she claims to be doing all this for. Her reasons for invading Westeros are for power and revenge, not some noble cause. She once spoke of “breaking the wheel” by destroying the other noble houses in Westeros but still marches under the Targaryen banner, she has no interest of breaking the wheel, she just wants to be the only spoke left in the wheel. We have also seen over and over that she is a fantastic conqueror but a terrible ruler. Unable to rule 3 cities in Slavers Bay so how she expects to rule 7 kingdoms is beyond me.So for someone who is so opposed to the needless slaughter and r@pe of small folk she is about to become the main instigator to feed her need for power.
People seem to see Feminism in everything since the word started becoming popular. Its a story, and the story has changed. When the men were in power nobody cried out. Now the ladies are, and we feel the writers are up to something? Just enjoy the story. After all its the story that makes you come back for more. If there was something wrong with the story, you would have dropped it, same way I dropped 'Lucifer'

Or even Jora Mormont, though I am happy for Tyrion, but Jora deserved to be the hand of the queen, tyrion hasn't really achieved any feat, Daenary met Meereen on the brink of defeat.

And thats what I love about GOT, it's so real - people don't always get what they deserve or hope for. The wicked usually triumph and the weak perish.
As Cersei put it "When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground."
If Tyrion hadn't applied diplomacy, there wouldn't be a city for her to return to. The Slavers would have attacked Mereen earlier.

She's not mature.
She's a child.

She lacks diplomacy and tact, and speaks too openlu because...well, she's a child.

Take her decision to back Jon Snow from the onset, for example. That was a very daft and tactically naive decision. All the other Lords of the north who could see the play knew that Jon Snow did not have the men and political goodwill to take on Ramsay...and they were right to abstain.

The vast majority of Snow's men were butchered.I wonder how many of the Mormonts survived that battle. If not for the Knights of the Vale, which that kid did not know about when risking her innocent men's lives, Jon snow and his men would be dead...and the Mormonts would have a target painted on their backsides.

The only reason her men listen to her is out of an obligation to maintain the servant -lord/lady relationship. I'm just baffled as to why.
Given the fact that it was her speech that convinced the other houses to back Jon as king in the north, I say she is very mature. She knew she had to back Jon in the battle of the bastards because her house swore allegiance to house start (for houses that still knew what allegiance meant), yet she left enough men in her home to defend it. That's tact my friend. The fact that her people followed her without questions showed this is a little girl that has leadership qualities in her.
It takes something special for the words from a child's mouth to sway the minds of old men

I remember you saying exactly this about Dany. "Dany isn't immune to fire" ...."blood magic this and that".

We know, viserys wasn't, we know Dany is. But we don't know why she is (not enough evidence). We know that she claimed that viserys wasn't a true dragon because fire cannot kill a dragon.

Maybe Jon snow is a true dragon.

Maybe he isn't.

If according to the series, only true dragons are immune to the fire, then Targaryens (some or most) may be immune to fire depending on bow frequently "true dragons" are born.
Gbola5 will argue that 'immune' part till the world comes to an end. I love the fact that he has every fact from ASOIAF on his finger tips, but he is forgetting one important factor: This is the show not the books'. The books said she's not, while the show proved she is. Since we are discussing the show, she is.

Thank you game of thrones for taking me through so many rounds of emotions to finally dish me that wonderful episode. Don't know if I should be happy that I just watch that masterpiece from D&grin, or I should be sad that I have to wait 9 months for the next season

If she was older, lady mormont would have been my new crush. Well I can reserve her for my lil brother.

Jon Snow king in the north. Listening to them chant 'king in the north' made all the the hairs on my body stand. All of them!

Cersie finally got what she's always wanted: the throne. Too bad it won't last long.

Love her, hate her, but you have to admit the scene where Dany named Tyrion hand of the king was touching. Emotional stuff. Drinklage has to be the most talented actor ever. His scenes are top notch. To display those range of emotions while acting, respect Sir.
