Those aren't units, the whole cavalry charging doesn't make a unit. We don't enough of Ramsey's capabilities as a military man. All your assertions are on speculation. Also an absolute suprise force doesn't just show up, except in Hollywood.

Ramsey and Jon didn't know of the Vale army so each was fighting with the assumption that the army in front of him was the entirety of the opposition.
Ramsey drafted a plan to make Jon abandon his own plan and make a mistake, and it worked. Jon would have died if not for Ser Davos. Point scored for ramsey.
Jon having abandoned his initial plan and couldn't come up with an alternative, whereas Ramsey applied his to full perfection, even if it meant killing his men.
The goal in a battle is to kill the opposition commander and his army or make them surrender and ramsey was achieving that. Another point score ramsey.
If not for the Vale army, which neither of them knew about, Ramsey would have won and decimated Jon and his army, no doubt.

So yes, Ramsey was I good tactician. I hated the character, but striping him of the one thing he had in abundance is wrong.

To Danny haters. The principle of her taking over the entire dothraki horde was simple. She killed all the khals in one blow and walked out of fire unhurt.

Now that the initial thrill of the episode has worn off, I can't help thinking that there is something fundamentally wrong with that Danarys storyline.

This is a woman that is widely known to as the mother of dragons.

Why would the masters of Astapor:

1. Attack Mereen without making contingency plans for dealing with those dragons?
2. Demand Surrender without making sure the dragons were dead?
3. Attend a negotiation with only a handful of men?

The masters had combined all their considerable forces to attack Mereen. Let's not forget that the Unsullied had been depleted by their running battles with the insurgent mask wearing guys...and grey worm himself said in the previous episode, that they only had enough men to defend the pyramid.

Then there's the new khalassar. A lot has been made of this force's numbers, but if im not mistaken, the khalassar includes not just fighting men, but women, children slaves, etc. If I remember correctly sef, Khal Drogo's squad was full of mostly chicks and slaves with relatively few riders.

Thus I don't belive this Khalassar should be this all conquering battalion that it's made out to be....

They knew she chained up two of the dragons, while she flew away on drogon's back to safety. They didn't expect her to show up when they attacked meeren. You may say some even though her dead, probably with drogon. So you can see why they were no overly concerned with their thoughts of two chained up dragons and one dead one. With the number of their ships, they were expecting an easy victory.
For the Khalaaser, the number adds up. we are talking about the whole dothraki herd here. Not just Khal drogo's, but also Maro's and the rest. I think I counted 8 when she burnt them alive. it was said Drogo had up to 100,000 people in his herd. Multiply that by 8. When it takes 1000 ships to carry your whole army, you know its quite a number

Concerning Euron Greyjoy, in the books he is said to have what we call a Dragon Horn. A Dragon Horn is an instrument that can be used to control dragons, unfortunately no mention of it has been made in the show. I hope they are saving it for a shocking surprise cos I really want Daenerys Stomborn to get her comeuppance. I see her becoming another big bad in this show. Another Mad King. Like dear daddy.

A lot of us are gonna miss Ramsay Bolton though, this dude was there for us when vile King Joffrey was killed off, poisoned like the rodent that he was. He cushioned the effect of the loss and filled the vacuum such that we barely had the time to miss the product of incest and spawn of the devil that was Joffrey. In short sef.......................

Why do you think she's becoming more of her father when that's the exact thing she doesn't want to be. She has advisers that turn her off that path, and the most important thing is she listens to them. She has made mistakes, no ruler hasn't, but she's always the first to admit it when her decisions go south.

Sansa not telling Jon about Little finger and the knights of the Vale won the battle for them. If she had told him about the her plan, he would have waited, Ramsey would have known about them having a larger army, and he would have prepared differently. His plan was actually perfect even though he killed his own men to make the 'dead' wall (that's what you expect from a psychopath). Even though she should have trusted Jon, her plan actually worked

Which men? Even if there are any, they are long dead and buried. Why didn't they kill Aegon's dragons when he first attacked.
3 dragons, the full dothraki herd, the second sons, and the unsullied. Tell me who could stop that force. From every corner you are attacked and you still want to kill dragons? Every kingdom she attacks will quickly bend the knee when they see the dragons, just like Brandon did. There is presently nobody that can stop Dany.

I know Ramsey was a terrible bastard, and I celebrated his death with a feast (remember my chicken and drinks ). But to say his death wasn't gruesome...come on. To be eaten alive no be small deal. You could still hear his screams as sansa walked away. That's as gruesome as it gets, watching as your body get chewed bit by bit and being powerless to do nothing. I thoroughly enjoyed his death.

I think its safe to say everybody was left satisfied by that episode. If you're not, sorry, I guess.
Even if you don't love her you've got to admit, Dany got swag. Even the dragon knows how to make an entrance. I think its safe to make her favourite for the iron throne.

Oh! And I enjoyed Ramsey's death. He didn't get enough beating from Jon, but I felt Sansa's satisfaction when his hounds turned on him

I don't discriminate when it comes to dogs. I love dogs of all breeds, and your puppy looks lovely. But its not a GSD. I'm not saying this to discourage you or troll on your page. Just saying it so you'd know what breed your puppy is. Trust me this would come in handy when you go to the vet or when you want to breed later, so you don't add to the increasing number of mutts. Your puppy is cute and you should love it with all your heart, but its not a GSD. If you feel you need a GSD then you can purchase one, but make sure you take someone who is knowledgeable about the different breeds of dogs so you get the real deal.

Whenever u watch a show like this series, u shud know that it is heading somewhere. Someone who is considered right will finally sit on the iron throne. That is where we expect it is headed. All acts and scenes are one way or the other expected to be related to this goal.
So, if a whole season passes by without considerable progress towards dis goal, that is exactly what I meant when I said there was no real progress in the storyline. We were practically still where we left off in season 5, yet episode 8 of season 6 has been aired.

Whether the story is progressing or not, you are still hooked to the show and that is what they want. Sometimes we just want to get to the destination without enjoying the journey. Y'all said you want blood and death, well you have to go through the dialogues first.
Enjoy the series as a whole, not just the fight scenes. The time will come when Dany will storm Kings Landing with her army and of course her majestic beautiful dragons. Till then, enjoy Tyrion, Grey worm and Missandei make jokes (or their rather lax attempt at it)

I read the books after watching the show. Its like when you listen to your lecturer in class n then go back to read after lectures. That way the suspense and fun still remains, while some things not well explained in the show becomes clearer. You should try it. Should be easy for you cuz you love reading
