South Africans are only knowing for blaming and fighting their fellow African brothers for their own woes but can't try that with a dead man with a white skin who has been holding them captive since the days of their ancestors. Spits! |
Travel › Re: My Crazy Story In A Tanzania Prison by enemachris(m): 4:10pm On Aug 31, 2023 |
Anitatunde: Part 5 and Final.
1 week to my release date, I received various death threats from all corners. The prison warden which I slept with also started acting crazy.
The guy think say prison na my house because he was sad and convinced me to stay back, abi you Dey mad ni Omo prison warden.
How do you expect me to give up my freedom and chose to stay in prison. Since the threats was coming left and right, I had to personally request to be moved to a different prison. But it was bounced.
The night to my release was the longest night. I couldn’t sleep all night because I don’t know what’s next for me. I stayed up all night.
Finally it was day break, 6am sharp, I was called up after doing all paper works and stuff. I booked a flight straight to MMIA Lagos from my savings in prison + other money at hand.
I was to be deported immediately. Police men took me to the airport like a celebrity, stayed with me till my flight was due.
They watched me enter the ✈️. I smiled and told one of the guys “I will be back”.
The story is longer than this but I had to summarize everything. I learnt a lot of lessons in my time in Tanzania, nobody loves Nigerians. They might like our music and movies but the hatred for Nigerians is very real.
Stay safe, stay blessed and be wise. Thanks for reading. Feel free to tag nairaland mods. So sorry about your experience dear. Thank God you are free. There's no place like home. |

It's always easy to talk from your civilian perspective. If u know how powerful the Nigerian Armed Forces is, you guys won't be saying all this. Your African neighbors know this already, hence they would always thread carefully cus they wouldn't want to swim in dangerous waters. |

The Igbos are very good people, same thing with the Yoruba people. I have lived with people from both tribes for many years now. It's really worrisome to see the unpredictable things people say about them most especially on this forum. I wonder if the people saying all this things even know the tribes very well. You guys should stop defacing other tribes and promoting hate. No tribe is bad, we only have bad people. Just the same way the bad once on this forum keeps promoting tribalism, ethnicity and religious card. |

I really miss those old good days. There was nothing like tribalism, no one cares about your religion back then or where you are from. Our religion and tribe then was love. We play under the moonlight till mama comes calling. I love watching newsline when it's anchored by Frank Olizeh. When I look back and see what's happening today, it really breaks my heart. Division and segregation everywhere, selfish, wickedness, greed and self-centeredness has taken center stage. |
