A Nigerian had a flat tyre on Iseyin-Ibadan highway. According to him, he flagged many motorists for help because his jack got spoiled in the process of trying to change the tyre but none of them stopped, understandably.

He has already resigned to fate until these good officers from Dugbe Police station came along. They didn't only stop, they went out of their way to replace & fixed the spare tyre.

When they were done, he begged them to take ₦3,000 as a token of appreciation to them but they rejected his plea. Their response was; "we didn't stop to assist you because of that, we are only doing our jobs".

The three Officers are: Officer Tunmise, Officer Daudu and Officer Michael of Dugbe police station, Ibadan).

I’m a federal civil servant and I know how the system works. I worked in this same ministry of works for 5 years before I was posted out. So, I have a good knowledge of the ministry unlike a lot people who are just capping what they know nothing about.

The federal public service is run by bureaucracy. Any minister that comes in and want to fight the established bureaucrats will fail. The federal system is a complex structure that is run on laws, regulations, circulars, PR, and deep experience. The civil servants are far more knowledgeable than him about the system. They will set him up and need him up quickly if he takes them on.

are civil servants allowed to come to work late? Yes or no? Stop defending nonsense.
