PDP rags trying to twist words to suit their evil plans. What the PA said was that since the state governor was on top of the issue, there was no need for buhari to make comments or take action at this time. The governor is the CSO of the state. When it suits us we shout democracy and when it does no we shout dictator. We have issues like this all over the country and you don't expect the president to be doing the job of the governor. It is when the issue is beyond the governor that the president comes in. A case in point is the killing of two people and the burning of a mosque in Enugu. Another case is the Aladja/Ogbeh ijaw crisis in Delta state, |

ocelot2006: Care to point out in my posts were I stated that the FG borrowed funds to pay salaries? And please do tell when Nigerians began to lose their jobs in droves with a million more jobs on the line. You just dropped a BLATANT LIE when we all know that the massive job loses along with capital flight, loss of investor confidence, pack up of both big, medium, and small coys, contraction of sectors like manufacturing, all began under BUHARI. In addition, theres also the drop in production output in the oil and gas sector, drop in much needed generated power, a hike in costs of fuel leading to further hikes in basic commodities due to high transport and manufacturing costs. Basically, Buhari has created a business environment that is simply unbearable to most, eapecially SMEs extremely important to a nation's economic growth. Oh did i mention the 1st ever negative GDPs recorded in YEARS under Buhari? Yet you want to stylishly push it on to GEJ. Bros, we are NOT gullible.
Oh well, I still await proof of my "flip flop" from my previous posts. Go on....I'm waiting. no need for this long epistle. Google is your friend. Some research would do you a lot of good. |

So Poor Nigerians should bear the brunt of his inept policies while he spends 144million on just foodstuffs for himself next year, Hasn't reduced or totally do away with his many allowances, Hasn't told his cabinet Ministers to take a pay cut or resign etc? be rational in your thought for once. Is Buhari responsible for the situation in Nigeria or is the situation an accumulation of bad policies of yesteryears? your hero GEJ accrued the highest revenue from oil sales during his 6 years rule. Please tell us what he did with the money? He shared it with his cronies and boasted that he made more millionaires than anybody. The truth is out now. He did not make any millionaires but millions of looters. There was a stampede on the CBNs vault to loot and pilfer. This was why he made the statement that srealing is not corruption. His wife is being investigated and assests has been siezed. Why not criticize those that have been caught instead of trying to carch air. |

ocelot2006: Please do tell how GEJ was responsible for the present recession. 'cos last I checked the nation's economy still recorded a steady growth still the very end of his watch and into the Buhari's administration till the stagnation began at the end of PMB's 2nd/3rd month in office? Was GEJ responsible for PMB's inability to formulate a coherent blueprint to lead the nation? Was GEJ responsible for this administration's ability to create an economic advisory team or a cabinet to push the president's policies (if at they existed) for 7 whole months as the nation's economy drifted? Or maybe you want to blame him for Buhari's policy flip flops and utter confusion emanating from the president's own cabinet. All we Nigerians have seen so far are just complaints upon complaints and blame shifting. That, my dear friend, is a classic example of POOR LEADERSHIP. from the look of things, you are the flip flopper here. You agree that FG was already borrowimg to pay salaries and states were owing worker, foreign reserve was depreciating fast, banks and oil servicing companies were laying off workers like craze, inflation was up and you say the economy was growing? Pray, with what indecies did you measure this growth? Are these not signs of recession. |

Btw NOI was referring to a drop in the nation's revenue from oil and the need to prioritize workers' wages by state govts. this just supports my earlier statement that GEJs lack of leadership is the bane of our economy today. Nigerian army lost its respect and prestige because of the politics of hate and envy championed by sw/apc media propaganda and religious fanatism of the northern muslims. The truth is Buhari has added no value to the military since he came on board, hence cannot be credited with defeating boko haram. GEJ already destroyed BH at the end of his tenure. Many nigerians are just myopic and narrow minded. no matter how you guys twist and turn words, you cannot change history. It is on record that two weeks after the kidnap of the chibok girls and still on denial refusing to acknowledge it, GEJ went to kano to dance azonto. His wife is on record denying the kidnap (there is God ooo!). The recent case against dasuki, more light has been shared on what happened during that period; how money was shared between Generals who hid some in cesspit tanks, built huge mansions, politicians and so much more. That aside the CDS and CoAS where christians. So what the fu:ck are you saying. The problem with some of you guys is that you always see issues for a relgious point of view. Btw NOI was referring to a drop in the nation's revenue from oil and the need to prioritize workers' wages by state govts. NOI was refering to revenue drop from oil! Wonderful. Now let me school you on Nigeria's economy. 1. It is mono-economy. That is one product brings in about 80% of the revenue. What that means is that our revenue flow is dictated by the price of this product. 2. This product brings in over 90% of our foreign currency. So the fluctuation of the price of this product will affect our foreign reserve. 3. Now if the reserve drops, what will happen to the naira? It will be devalued. Buhari refused to devalue the naira but chose to ban 41 products from accessing dollar from the CBN. The reason for this. These products can be produced in Nigeria, banning this product will reduce pressure on the reserve, manufacturers can access dollar at the official price. Manufactures inturn can grow and create employment. But this was abuse by round tripping of the dollar, hence it was discontinued. Now how does that affect the recession? |

Nigeria has always had official and parallel market price for dollar exchange. The only difference is that the CBN pegged the dollar rate at a point in time so as to help manufacturers import machinery equipments at lower rates. The reason why folks like Reno seem to remain relevant is because we have an almost endless supply of intellectually lazy folks crawling everywhere in the country, especially those whose minds have been ravaged by hatred.
This is what we keep saying about the presidential media team Modath. Those guys are too damn lazy!! This is an opportunity to bury "Wendel Simlin" forever but they'd never see it!! mekaboy: So all the donations she has been making comes from her private pocket?
All her trips are funded from her pocket?
If a war breaks out in US today, will she be treated like every other Nigerian who visited US or will the government of Nigeria take special steps to ensure her safety? As a public figure most NGOs and multinationals would want to associate with her through their CSR. For example, indomie may have excess stock in its inventory and may want to give it out. What would be the best form of advertising their wares than giving it out to the first lady to donate/distribute or share out. They would get prime time on NTA news and most national news outlet. Compare the cost of prime time advertisement or exposure to what they gave out. Now in the case of her not publicizing her visit to USA, my question to you is if she had gone there with all fanfare (using a bentley, gold bags and shoes, inviting BBC, CNN, Aljezera, FBI, CIA, MIA, PPP and what not) you would be the one to criticize her for spending our national funds for frivolities. These days, she hardly go out without someone asking the cost of her wristwatch handbag or something. Another point is that she has the right to travel the way she wants and does not owe anybody any explaination. When Fayose cuts ponmo or sells ogufe while somebody snaps or video in the background, you call him your hero. If that is what you want from the first lady, i guess you need some tramadol. |
