First, that picture that I saw on the other thread aint a toy. When I saw a bottle of already used aboniki balm under the device, I knew it was real.

Second,from time immemorial there is always the real version of events and the official statement given to the public.

Having said that I feel that the US has every right to do what it deems necessary to protect its self and citizens from boko haram threats.

Come to think of it the Boko guys saying they will attack USA, do you think they really mean that they will go from Nigeria to blow up texas or new york? For now they I do not think they have the sophistication to carry out their evil thoughts and hence US buildings and interests in Nigeria are more realistic targets and will have the same impact maybe fewer casualties but it will still cause a worldwide stir when it hits the news!!!

Policing in lagos is tighter and ibadan may not be as effecient and so the group may have already have sleeping cells or intend to grow some that can be activated in ibadan with the intent to attack the embassy or US interest in Lagos and so any security conscious govt will watch ibadan closely.

alakara: Firstly, I av 2 commend the members of this committee for a job well done.I don't knw dat intelligent members are in the house.Moreover these members did a through job in bring out these questions.Two weeks is to small for NOI 2 answer these questions at least she need a month cos these questions are technical.They are all technical questions in that if she goofed in one part she might be right in another.I think d minister is playing with the economy and the legislators wants 2 catch her red handed and want her to tell them thru her ans dat the FG is really messing with the economy.Irrespective of the fact dat the members of the committee are frm diverse tribe and party and d chairman defect 2 APC they did a yeoman job.I pray they are nt compromised.Democracy @ wrk.Waiting 4 d answers frm NOI.

Its simple, it has been ruled. Why does she want them to over rule it? Its uncivil...

Symphony007: no such thing is done in the united states. I guess personal responsibility and choice is something the nigerian government know nothing about. Everybody should be allowed to make their choice. Incase you don't know some people may find it offensive to honour the nigerian army. Example igbo's. Why would they want to honour a force who committed genocide on their land. Why would they be forced to wear that? Why is'nt the nigerian government commissioning emblems to honour the biafran soildeirs who lost their lives fighting for what they belived in? And will yoruba's and hausa's agree to wear such an emblem? This government has no clue to to do so they come up with trash like this.
