we are all calling for a sovereign national conference but nobody is telling us how it should be convened abi na organize sef.

Do you people think the president can just wake up and say " oya my fellow nigerian this is the sovereign national conference we have been yearning for "

Do you people think he has the power and the right to intrude on the constitutional rights and duties of the national assembly ?

Do you people think that the national assembly members and their various master will easily accede to a sovereign national conference?

We should not been in haste to make comments or form opinion when we have not put into consideration all other factors.

Going by what the op posted I will say Bakare is a realistic man who have thought about this issue extensively. Yes Tinubu did raise some salient point but believe me those concerns of his can be well taken care of if only Tinubu and the rest of the political leaders can shelve their interest aside for a while and come together to fashion out ways, but the question is will they do that?

For the president to declare a sovereign national conference, he will need the strong political backing and commitment from other political leader in his party and the opposition, and also we must not forget the national assembly which comprises of member from the many political party in the country .

If we are castigating the president alone on this issue, leaving out the senators and the house of representative, the governors party chairman and godfather like Tinubu and co then we are not serious about convening a sovereign national conference and I also believe that time is not short to convene a national conference or sovereign national conference all it takes is commitment from all.

Yes gej is the president and has awesome power but note that power is limited, to have SNC or a confab with constituent power he need the power of all the political leader and the unconditional cooperation of the house.

Let us look at this issue from a broader view, by doing so we will know that gej is just a piece in the game that need the input of other to perform. There are many interest that need to be cater for. We are not in a military or autocratic regime where you will be compel with force to follow a line of action if its against your will. Right from the start it was stated that the outcome of the national conference will be deliberated on by the national assembly so I don't know where some of us are getting their information from, maybe I should blame impatience on our part to fully read and assimilate before forming opinion.


Tinibu raise some very important or should I say highlight some grey areas which to me and some of us are not news to us. During Abacha regime secondary school I was but tried my best to get information on the national conference during his regime, from the little I gather then I know that the outcome of this conference will at the end be deliberated upon by the house .

Which is also due to the fact that the house won't allow itself to be led in accepting the outcome of the national conference without amending it to suit their taste and don't forget the house is independence of the executive. Accepting to allow this confab to take place in the first, to them is too many blood spilled. So if we must criticise the executive arm of government, the house must not be spare too in the criticism don't forget they are the law maker chosen by us through election and they have the power to truncate this confab because it an encroachment on their constitutional duties.

Having a sovereign national conference or a national conference with constituent power is not beyond us at all even at this moment, only if the political parties can summon the will to order their representative in the house to allow it, I tell you even if the president has ulterior motive behind this confab he won't be able to do anything because the house will be their to check mate him and vice versa

But I will disagree with tinibu that time is not on our side . All it takes is strong commitment and strong sense of purpose from all the political parties; but the question is will they drop their political agenda and come together?

I am actually planing to attend the next deliverance session but yesterday night, I had a dream where I saw three people(ONe man and two women) coming out from a big see and the man and one of the women stopped afar off and pointed at my direction as if this the person. Immediately that happened the other lady looking more dreadful now walked towards me. The moment she got close to me, she now changed to a snake and started chasing me, the only thing I could do was to be shouting Jesus,Jesus, Jesus, and I woke up sweating from the dream, my husband woke up before me because he said he just noticed me moving and rolling like possessed person on the bed. We prayed and went back to sleep but I could not sleep again because anytime I close my eyes I still see the snake raising its head.

This morning around 10am we were wondering what to do, something just told me, call servant Vic, Call Servant Vic. My brothers and sisters that is how we loaded airtime and called this great servant of God who the Lord will bless, and bless, and bless abundantly.

When i narrated the dream to him he said I should sit on my bed and stand up, he now told me that the Man and the other ladies are the ones that took my case to the marine kingdom for them to attack me. He told me that the hand of the Lord is not short and the Lord wants to attend to me right there because if not they will strike me dead by this night.

He said, I should repeat this prayer after him: God forgive me every known and unknown sin in Jesus name. My people that is the prayer I could remember but as if i was not in this world again I started hearing Fire, what is your name, why are you after her, speak in Jesus name ?,etc) In fact i came back finding myself on the floor and i have vomited some whit substances, which my husband said Servant Vic was actually talking with a demon that manifested through me and speaking audibly: saying it is her step mother that came to me, she said she don't want her to achieve more than her childrenoooooooooooooo, this fire is too muchoooooo, hey, hey please, please, I am not the oneoooooo, the fire is too muchoooooooooooo, and the demon was later chained until the deliverance day.) He said he was so scared that he did not know whether to run from the room or shout for help.

In fact when my husband told me this I found it difficult to believe but for sure i know my step mother very well she is capable of doing any evil against me the eldest child of my father, on my wedding day she performed, so i am not surprised but all power belong to God and with my knowing this servant of God, I know that after my deliverance any evil done against me will definitely return back to the owner IJN.

Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaassss All help me thank the Lord and this his servant that can pray through phone and manifestation will be coming like that, I can not wait for the next deliverance session, I really want to meet with Servant Vic.

Opening this thread was never a mistake and no regret about it except not opening it on time. I have been to the deliverance and I can ser the hand of God doing wonders in my life. my prayer life has improved, no bad dreams except warning, now have a reason to live my life fully business opportunity opening up for me and I know there more blessing on the way.




It is said that he who find a virtuous woman as a wife find favor in the site of God and this is one favour I don't want to miss for anything whatsoever. I have been praying for God direction concerning my marital journey and praying that His will should over rule mine and I am ready to follow his will even if it mean the relationship with my current girlfriend whom I love very much but scared of going further with her because of some things I noticed about our relationship.




I have done three days fasting and praying on this issue but am not getting a clearer picture of things or should I say my understanding is limited as to what am being shown. here is one of the things I was shown opening ur bathroom door and saw the bathroom floor dirty, going to check the other bathroom in the other room I saw darkness coming toward me from the other room and felt a punch coming toward me as I retreat back to my room. In another a name was called but I couldn't grab the full name. in another a lady was shown but I couldn't piece anything together after waking up.





Before embarking on the fast directed by srrvant vic, I was shown a lady whose face was covered with a veil waiting to be escorted to her husband and through a window I was trying to see her face and I was asking is she my wife then I woke up.





Writing this long epistle to you all is because I will like it if you people can join me in prayer, tapping from the anointing in you all as I seek the Lord face on my marital journey. knowing that there are mama and papa here whose are anointing are strong and more enlightened on the words of the Lord. Seriously whether we like it or not jonathan is trying is best and moving this country forward despite the arrays of distraction. I know some of you will disagree with me on that, and you are right to do so after all the way we view things are different and i know with time we all shall know that jonathan really tried.

My problem with jonathan apart from the feeding money of ask rock is that he over promise. For instance the power sector, billions of dollar was spent during obj regime but nothing to show for it. Now jonathan is trying is best in improving power in the country and to me he is on the right part but the timeline is too short a period because as a nation we lack the technology to do so, because because almost everything needed are source from outside and most of them are produce or build on demand and all this take time.

It is also another thing to build generating plants across the country and also another things to build transmission station across the country and also another thing to start installing enough transformer across the country, replacing and repairing of cables transformers and other things. my question is how many of this things are we producing?

Now back to the economy, company are expanding and new one are being set up and do you think that if the condition are not right they will expand. No businessman is into business to make loss and as such no sentiment.

Is Dangote the only nigerian capable of things like this? we have them in abundance but too short sighted in their thinking. They will prefer to buy land and build house, hotels, live large and go into politic to loot the treasury.

Yes we also have some like ibru and abiola who think far but are not blessed with worthy successors to continue from where they stop. Abiola is dead but where are his investment today? olorogun ibru is still alive but down with sickness and old age but what is happening to his investment? we all know what happened to oceanic bank, what about michel farm in agege and iju that are producing poultry and braf meet in lagos? today they are history.

You see, blaming government for our own problem caused by us won't take us anywhere.


Nigerian business environment is conducive enough for you to cast your net into and come out smiling but you need to have the capacity to take the risk and think differently from this rest of us. Waiting for government to come and create job, to me is a waste of time and resources because at the end of the day it will fold up no matter the good intention in setting it up because of what federal character will throw up.

His wealth is value at 25 billion dollar but not in cash but in assets and being a wise and smart investor it will be wrong for him to sell his assets just because he want to raise money for new venture.

the logical thing to do as a wise and smart investor is to use other people money with a promise to pay back with interest. it can be in form of loan or direct investment from people who are interested.

In other word he borrowed money from the bank using some of his assets as collateral in case of default on his part. he invest the money into the project, get it running recoup the money and pay back his loan with interest free his asset and his wealth value shoot up that is if there is no outstanding loan.

Government or no government support, the guy and the bank are not stupid or dense if the environment is not conducive for such a project and this goes a long way to tell us that Jonathan led government is not that bad and doing well in term of job creation and other area except the feeding money in aso rock.

Some years ago company were closing down and relocating to our neighboring countries even where I work they were mooting the idea to set but today its a different case, currently we planing in expanding our production output despite the entrance of a competitive competitor even though we rely on our own power generating plant. This is not peculiar to my company alone, many company are expanding.

I don't know why we nigerian refused to believe in our country, non nigerian believe and are investing heavily in the country, am not talking of investing in the nigerian stock exchange.

So many graduate but little job is available. should we hold the government responsible for this predicament and continue holding them responsible while we idling away in our closet. As i used to say to those who care enough to listen to me that government can not create job and should not create but create policy to make the environment conducive for business to strive and I stand by my word. yes they can support.

How many government company are functioning today? must they continue to set up company and have them staff based on federal character which will throw up a lot of un qualified people to man this company or we should encourage them to create the environment for people with the means to set up business and survive?

As I always says, nigeria economy need entrepreneurs right now not job seekers because that is what the country economy need most right now. if there is dearth of enough entrepreneurs, how will the numerous job seekers see job to do. we have people with the means who can kick start everything but choose to spend their money in the acquisition of things that will not that will not impact massively on the unemployment market.

Whether you want to admit it or not this government is trying and its now left for us to take to take things further. @pecker lord, nothing bad in back back the project but if the project must be buy back, all what I expect LASG to do is to compensate them for the money spent on the completed portion that is if LASG want to do father christmas because to me lcc has defaulted in carrying her own part of the bargain which to " build " " operate " to recoup back their money with profit and "transfer" to lagos state after 30yrs, but did they do that before tolling the road?

How long did it take them to construct the 10 kilometers which they are tolling?

when was the agreement enter into and when did the project start? how many year did it take them to upgrade and expand 10 kilometers of road and at the space they where going how long do you think it will take them to cocomplete the the whole 50 kilometers of road before venturing onto the construction of the costal road?



And what is the essence of concessioning that project in the first place? is it not to reduced the financial burden of the state so that more fund can be available for the execution of other project?



Citing the devaluation of the naira as excuse hold no water because inflation would have been factor into the project when computing and projecting the cost of the project. Abi you wan tell me say na galloping inflation they happened for we country since the commencement of the project? or the materials plus equipment and the human resources are imported?



Guy, with my village economic sense, I and no serious investor with a conscience who value money will pay such a huge amount for such a right with the level of work carried out on that road.



Lagos state has buy out the right from lcc which means the right to generate revenue and finish the construction of that road. while lcc will be in charge of the road on behalf of the good people of lagos, and do you think they will do it for free? no



So who gain and who loose? lcc gain while we loose. There is no win win situation here for both party.

Let call a spade a spade, a shovel a shovel. This is a wake up call to nigerian irrespective of tribe or region, come 2015 we should not vote base on sentiment or tribe but by who will delivered and not disappoint us at the end of the day without almost grounding us financially.

As bad as things are here, i refused to believe that we don't have qualified competent nigerian doctors in nigeria who can't perform complex surgery as knee sugery here in nigeria effectively .

I know what am saying and i stand by it. An uncle of mine who involved in an industrial accident where the palm of left hand was smashed to pieces, and everybody was saying the hand has gone but today that smashed hand or palm is less two finger instead of the whole palm from the wrist. This is an accident that happened in lagos and treated by a doctor from lasuth but not in lasuth but in a private speciallist hospital.

There are many private speciallist hospital that are well equipped for things such as this who source their speciallist from lasuth and other institution and general hospitals.

What stop him and his like from patronizing this hospital? if they can't equip the one in their care they should atleast patronize this hospital as that will put food on some family table on time.

INTRODUCTION TO MLM


MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING is one of the fastest growing yet most misunderstood methods of moving
products in use today. It has been termed by many as the Wave-of-the Eighties. Believe me, it will go far beyond
that. By the 1990’s more than 100 BILLION DOLLARS worth of products and services will be moving annually
through Multi-Level Marketing companies. As we approach the 21st century WATCH OUT!


The purpose of this book is to convey to you the reader, through illustrations and examples, just what Multi-Level
Marketing IS and what it IS NOT. We will also show you how you can effectively, I repeat-EFFECTIVELY, explain
Multi-Level Marketing to others. This book should be treated as a TRAINING MANUAL. It is intended to be used as
a tool to help you train the people in your organization. Include it in their initial “kit” of information about your program.


Don Failla has developed the “Napkin Presentations” upon which this book is based over the last several years
since about 1973. I have been involved in Multi-Level Marketing to one degree or another since 1969. This book
will cover the 10 presentations developed thus far. Before going into the details of the “Ten Napkin
Presentations,” allow me to answer one of the most frequently asked, and probably the most basic of all the
questions, “What is MLM?” This question is quite frequently in response to a button we often wear. (See
illustration on back cover.) Throughout this book we shall use “MLM” and “Multi-Level Marketing” interchangeably.


Let’s break it down. Marketing simply means moving a product or service from the manufacturer or provider to the
consumer. Multi-Level refers to the system of compensation provided to those persons who are causing
the product to move or the service to be provided. “Multi” means “more than one.” “Level” refers to what may better
be termed as “generation.” It could be called “Multi- Generation Marketing.” We shall stay with Multi-Level
since that is what is most common. It is so common, in fact, that many illegal pyramids and chain distribution schemes
or chain-letters try to pass themselves off as being a Multi- Level program. This creates such a stigma, although
unjustified, that many of the newer MLM companies are using other names for their type of marketing. Some of
these names you will hear are “Uni-Level Marketing,” “Network Marketing,” and “Co-op Mass Marketing.”



There are really only three basic methods of moving products. (Hold up three fingers as you demonstrate this point.)

1) RETAILING-I’m sure everyone is familiar with retailing. The grocery store, the drug store, the department store . . .
you go into a store and buy something.

2) DIRECT SALES-would usually, (but not always) include insurance, cookware, encyclopedias, etc. Fuller Brush,
the Avon lady, 1ipperware home parties, etc. are some examples of Direct Sales efforts.

3) MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING-is the one we shall be discussing in this book. It should not be confused with the other two,
especially with the Direct Sales method of which MLM commonly is confused. A fourth type of marketing that is sometimes
added to the list (hold up the fourth finger) is MAIL ORDER. Mail Order can be an MLM type, but most generally is included
in the Direct Sales category.

A fifth type, often confused with MLM, I have already mentioned is PYRAMID SALES. The fact is, PYRAMIDS are ILLEGAL!
One of the main reasons they may be illegal is their failure to move a product or to provide a valid service.
(Hold out your thumb for illustration.) If a product doesn’t move, how can you even call it “marketing,” let alone
“Multi-Level Marketing!” Multi-Level they may be-- but MARKETING THEY ARE NOT!!!
Most objections that people have about getting into


Multi-Level Marketing are due to their not realizing the differences between MLM and the Direct Sales methods of marketing.
This confusion is understandable because most reputable MLM companies belong to the Direct Selling Association. You have
been conditioned, perhaps, to think of them as door-to-door direct sales programs because your first encounter with them was
when a distributor knocked on your door to sell you something. There are some features that differentiate MLM from Retail and
Direct Sales companies. One very significant difference is that in MLM you are in business for yourself BUT NOT BY YOURSELF


By being in business for yourself, whether or not but especially if you are operating out of your home, you may be entitled to some
substantial TAX BREAKS. We won’t get into TAX ADVANTAGES in this book. Most people can get that information from their accountant
or from the many books that have been written on the subject. Being in business for yourself, you are buying the products wholesale from
the company you are representing. This means that you can (and should) use these items for your own consumption. Many people get
involved in a company at first for this reason alone, to buy wholesale. And many of those will get “serious.” Since you are buying your
products WHOLESALE, you can, if you wish to, sell those products at RETAIL and make a PROFIT. The most common misunderstanding
about MLM is the notion that you HAVE TO sell retail to be successful. There is a lot to be said for selling retail and it should not be ignored.
Some programs even require a retail quota be met in order to qualify for a bonus. You may sell if you want to or have to due to your particular
program’s requirements, but in regard to making the larger sums of income-the real success is in building the organization.


IMPORTANT POINT: Let your sales come as the natural result of building the organization. More people fail than succeed by trying to do it the
other way around-they try to build the organization by emphasizing selling. As you read through the Napkin Presentations that follow, you will
see this concept unfold before you. The word “selling” triggers negative thoughts in the minds of about 95 % of the people. In MLM you don’t
need to “sell” the products in the traditional sense of the word. However, PRODUCT DOES HAVE TO MOVE or nobody, but nobody, gets paid.
Don Failla defines selling as “calling on strangers trying to sell them something they may neither need nor want.” Again, PRODUCT HAS TO
MOVE OR NOBODY GETS PAID!


Another name for MLM is Network Marketing. When you build an organization, you are actually building a network through which to channel your
products. Retailing is the foundation of Network Marketing. Sales in MLM or Network Marketing come from distributors SHARING with their friends,
neighbors, and relatives. They never have to talk to strangers.


To build a LARGE SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS you need a BALANCE. You need to sponsor and teach MLM and in the process of doing this you can
build a customer base by retailing to your friends, neighbors, and relatives. Don’t try to sell the world on your program yourself. Remember that Network
Marketing or MLM is building an organization in which a lot of distributors all retail a little. This is far better than a few trying to do it all. With virtually all
the MLM companies, the need to spend large sums of money on advertising is non-existent.


Advertising is done almost exclusively by word-of-mouth. For this reason they have more money to put into product development. As a result, they usually
have a higher quality product than their counterpart found in retail stores. You can SHARE with a friend a high quality product of a type that they are already
using. You’re simply replacing their old brand with something that you have discovered through your own experience to be better. So you see, its not going
door-to-door-every day calling on strangers. All network or MLM programs that I know of teach that if you simply SHARE the quality of their products or
services with friends, that is all the “selling” that is involved. (We prefer to call it “Sharing,” because that’s what it is!)


Another thing that differentiates MLM from Direct Sales is the SPONSORING of other distributors. In direct sales and even in some MLM companies it’s
called RECRUITING. However, “sponsoring” and “recruiting” are definitely not the same thing. You SPONSOR someone then TEACH them how to do
what you are doing-building a BUSINESS OF THEIR OWN. We emphasize: there is a big difference between sponsoring someone and just “signing
them up.” When you SPONSOR someone, you are making a COMMITMENT to them. If you are not willing to make that commitment, then you are
doing them a disservice by signing them up. At this point, all you need to be is WILLING to help them to build a business of their own. This book will
be an invaluable tool in showing you what and how to do just that.


It is a RESPONSIBILITY of a sponsor to teach the people they bring into a business all they know about that business. Things such as ordering products,
keeping records, how to get started, how to build and train their organization, etc. This book will go a long way toward making you ABLE to meet that
responsibility. SPONSORING is what makes a Multi-Level Marketing business grow. As your organization grows, you are building toward becoming an
INDEPENDENT, SUCCESSFUL businessperson. You are your OWN BOSS! With Direct Selling companies, you work for the company. If you decide
to quit that company and move to another area, you end up having to start all over again. In almost all of the MLM programs that I am aware of, you
can move to another area of the country and sponsor people without losing the volume generated by the group you left behind.


In Multi-Level Marketing programs you can make a lot of money. It takes a little longer with some companies than it does with others, but making a
lot of money comes from building an organization, not by just selling the product. ‘To be sure, you can make a good living in some programs by just selling
the product-but you can make a FORTUNE by building an organization as your primary function.


People will get started in a Multi-Level business with the idea of making $50, $100, or even $200 per month and suddenly they will realize that if they want to
get serious about the business they could be making $1,000 or $2,000 per month-or more. Again, remember that a person doesn’t make that kind of money
by just selling the products . . . they make that kind of money by building an organization. THAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS BOOK: to teach you the things
you need to know to be able to build an organization and to build it FAST-to develop certain and proper attitudes about MLM. If a person thinks Multi-Level Marketing
is illegal, having a connotation of being like a pyramid (and they do make that connotation), you are going to have trouble sponsoring them.


You must teach them the facts to eliminate their attitude of mistaking a true Multi-Level Marketing organization as being a pyramid. One example you could show
them is the illustration at the right (check the bottom of this post). The pyramid is built from the top down and only those in at the very beginning can ever be near the top.

In the “MLM” triangle, everybody starts at the bottom and has the opportunity to build a large organization. He can build an organization many times larger than
his sponsor’s organization if he wants. The main objective is: to get your prospect into a general discussion concerning MLM, and explain with your three fingers,
the differences between Retailing, Direct Sales, and Multi-Level Marketing. Then you may have a good start at sponsoring them into your particular MLM vehicle.


As I stated earlier, by the 1990’s, MLM will be doing in excess of $100 BILLION annually. That is BIG BUSINESS! Most people don’t realize that MLM is that big! Multi-
Level Marketing has been in our midst for about 35 years now. Some companies that have been around for 20 years or so are already doing a billion dollars per year by
themselves. We know of one company that did over $2,000,000 in it’s first year of operation. In its second year they went over $15 MILLION. For their third year they
projected $75 MILLION. Their goal is to reach ONE BILLION per year by the end of their 5th year. The principles expounded in this book will make that goal reachable.
That's a pretty fast start in anybody's league! MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING is one of the viable ways for an inventor or manufacturer to put a new product on the market
without having a million dollars and without having to totally give up their product to someone else.

Multi level marketing programs is one means by which poverty can be confronted and reduced to the bearest minimum level in the society
because of it capacity to financially empowered and help one in achieving his or her financial freedom without stress but unfortunately people
are not taking advantages of this programs to the betterment of their life except very few people. This is so because of the negative report by
people who ventured into MLM and came out with nothing to show for it.

To understand the science of getting rich is therefore the most essential of all knowledge.

There is nothing wrong in wanting to get rich. The desire for riches is really the desire for a richer, fuller, and more abundant life; and that desire is praise worthy. The man who does not desire to live more abundantly is abnormal, and so the man who does not desire to have money enough to buy all he wants is abnormal.

There are three motives for which we live; we live for the body, we live for the mind, we live for the soul. No one of these is better or holier than the other; all are alike desirable, and no one of the three--body, mind, or soul--can live fully if either of the others is cut short of full life and expression. It is not right or noble to live only for the soul and deny mind or body; and it is wrong to live for the intellect and deny body or soul.

We are all acquainted with the loathsome consequences of living for the body and denying both mind and soul; and we see that real life means the complete expression of all that man can give forth through body, mind, and soul.

Whatever he can say, no man can be really happy or satisfied unless his body is living fully in every function, and unless the same is true of his mind and his soul. Wherever there is unexpressed possibility, or function not performed, there is unsatisfied desire. Desire is possibility seeking expression, or function seeking performance.

Man cannot live fully in body without good food, comfortable clothing, and warm shelter; and without freedom from excessive toil. Rest and recreation are also necessary to his physical life.

He cannot live fully in mind without books and time to study them, without opportunity for travel and observation, or without intellectual companionship.
To live fully in mind he must have intellectual recreations, and must surround himself with all the objects of art and beauty he is capable of using and appreciating.To live fully in soul, man must have love; and love is denied expression by poverty.

A man's highest happiness is found in the bestowal of benefits on those he loves; love finds its most natural and spontaneous expression in giving. The man who has nothing to give cannot fill his place as a husband or father, as a citizen, or as a man. It is in the use of material things that a man finds full life for his body, develops his mind, and unfolds his soul. It is therefore of supreme importance to him that he should be rich.

It is perfectly right that you should desire to be rich; if you are a normal man or woman you cannot help doing so. It is perfectly right that you should give your best attention to the Science of Getting Rich, for it is the noblest and most necessary of all studies.
