linearity: This was the practice and belief during the olden days.
However, there is a caveat to it. The man must properly marry the lady and must not skip the traditional marriage unification that involves the man killing a goat for the woman...the isokos have a name for this, it has to do with ‘rescuing the head of the woman’.
The above is the reason why, if a woman cheats on an Isoko man, the woman must kill a goat for the man as part of the cleansing, but only if the man killed a goat for her.
If the man didn’t kill any goat, there is no killing of goat by the woman and no cleansing and nothing will happen to the man, because the main traditional thing of consulting the ancestors by the killing of the goat did not occur.
Also in Isoko beyond being a taboo, relatives don’t date each other, it is believed that the ancestors will strict both of dead unless you perform cleansing rituals....even seeing your relative unclothedness by mistake requires a cleansing ritual to avert the wrath of the gods.
But, like I said before; the efficacy of these things are in doubt today, becos many of these villages no longer worship these ancestral spirit, regular ancestral festivals no longer holds, evil forest has been taken over by development in many communities and religious growth have seriously watered down these. Well I don't know about the killing of goat but all i know is once the bride price is paid or oyinbo wedding with your oyinbo wife is done, signed and seal, the woman should not try it. And my dear @helen4, no Isoko community or town is exempted from it. Let no one deceive you but a chit chat with those your elders or guys in the village will help. |

obailala: Oh okay.. now we are landing there...
It's no longer a case of "Buhari lied that presidency budget was reduced"? the narrative is now "Buhari only mentioned a N14.5billion increase in NASS budget, he didn't mention in his letter that some presidency items were increased"...
You guys are just funny; is it a crime if you just say the simple truth while you play your opposition?
And by the way, did Buhari beg anybody to increase his presidency budget?.... This is like a thief who after a robbery, throws some pack of groundnuts over the fence of the police chief. After being arrested, he's now saying, "but I gave some of the loot to the police so the police should be blamed too." What sort of clownish defense is that? First all the presidency budget was not reduced. And 2, you ask a question and i help provide an answer. Is it a crime to do so? Well how you wish to twist my answer is yours and yours only prerogative but when doing it think of the legacy it will created for those coming after us. If after a robbery and the thief decided to throw some pack over the fence to the police chief and the police chief did nothing about it but take action after the arrest of the thief, is that not damage control? Why didn't he raise alarm when the budget was being debit here and credit here? Do you want me to believe that the presidency have no knowledge of what was happening to the budget in the national assembly? Let assume president Buhari was not aware, why didn't he reject it and return it to them drawing the attention of Nigerian to his worry or complaints? Let assume that for the sake of the economy of the nation he signed the budget, is it fair and just to not make known that of the presidency when he make known that of the national assembly? My brother look closer with a clear eyes, ask the right questions and pertinent ones, defend what is right not just right but moral by so doing this country will be better for it. |

obailala: Out of curiosity, I actually did as you said, I went back and read through the entire budget signing speech but still couldn't spot where the president complained that the presidency budget was reduced; I could only see examples of strategic capital projects whose budgets were reduced.
It's beginning to seem like the act of just raising blank accusations and then proceeding to unleash insults based on a false premise (all for 'likes' and praise) is the latest 'honourable' culture amongst Nigerian youths?... Just in case I'm wrong, I've quoted the entire speech below; can you kindly point out the line where the president said the budget to presidency was cut?
@OBAGADAFFI, you could also kindly help your friend to point out the line... 14. An example of this increase is the budget of the National Assembly itself which has increased by 14.5 billion Naira, from 125 billion Naira to 139.5 billion Naira without any discussion with the Executive. That's your answer there. He shouldn't have just cite that of the national assembly own only, out of fairness he suppose to make known that of the presidency too to balance the equation. Now everybody is attacking and insulting the national assembly and am very pretty sure that increase were not arbitrarily made by the national assembly but in conjunction with the executive. Let look beyond politics . |
Christianity Etc › Please Stop Turning God's Word Upside Down. Christian Beware by enm(op): 12:59am On Jun 20, 2018 |
The issue of gay has been one among many issue rocking the foundation of the christiandom. Many people who profess the christian faith have taken it as a life crusade to have gayism accepted by the Church, advocating for change in doctrine. Please don't get me wrong, gay are highly welcome in the church, but not welcome to come and change God's word turning things up and down all the name fairness, equality and justice before man made law leading many astray. Below are verse from bible that point to us that gay and other form of sexual immorality and perversion is a no no in christianity. Roman 1:26-32 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. Romans 1:26-30, 32 ESV http://bible.com/59/rom.1.26-32.ESV Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day— just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire. Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones. Jude 1:5-8 ESV http://bible.com/59/jud.1.5-8.ESVNow we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted. 1 Timothy 1:8-11 ESV http://bible.com/59/1ti.1.8-11.ESVOr do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ESV http://bible.com/59/1co.6.9-11.ESVYou shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. Leviticus 18:22 ESV http://bible.com/59/lev.18.22.ESV If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. BabaRamota1980: Where is the flyover or bridge before i comment?
OP, you are accurate. The development crusade in Lagos started with Jakande, but he was handicapped by opposition, NPN, and then by military take over. Tinubu took many playbooks to create what we have today in Lagos. He may not dress like Awo but he took a lot from the Awo Doctrines on capitalism and socialism. His successes on capitalism outweighed the many infrastructures in socialism. The handover of the ruling template, commonly called passing of the baton, was used by Awo in the Western Region. An incumbent packages a State of State report and hand it over to the incoming administration. The new administration must either implement whats on the book or propose an improvement that carries more benefits and aesthetics than the one given to him. Tinubu monetized a lot of public services to generate money from which he funded the social programmes. That tradition has continued successfully. It has become expectation that Lagos State will provide certain services and when they don't people call in with complaints and the govt responds. There is no other state that has this. So when the state introduce a new levy people grumble and complain but they pay it. At the end the benefit is passed back to them in public service. Through this exchange and expectations the state has grown its riches exponentially.
If care is not taken Lagos will earn more than Nigeria in the next 10yrs or less when tje two ports of Lekki and Badagry go commercial. The opportunity is immense!
By the time Ambode completes 8yrs Tinubu will no longer need to be involved. He can retire. The machine will run and self-oil itself. He just tested that possibility not long ago when he announced to the state party leaders that if you have been there 10yrs or more don't contest, yield for new contestants to show face and occupy roles. He is testing and preparing the ground for his own exit. I believe Ambode will likely be replacement for Tinubu.
So you are correct, while the interior adopted Awo's Doctrine in form, Lagos practiced them in substance.
Currently Lagos has built a credit worthiness powerful enough that it can contract Berger or some other consortium to link Nigeria with a super-highway and it will get done. Other states cant even connect the length and breadth of their border with a highway, it will be out of their reach financially.
People should stop the comparison.
Having said that I must now ask if indeed there is any practical relevance to a state or city erecting a flyover?
Lagos has a functional need for the many bridges and flyovers it has. Some cities just put one up for aesthetic or to join the flyover gang without a true need for it.
If a city must put up infrastructure bridge should not be the default structure. There are cities with a high water table, or even lakes and rivers, how about building a viaduct or hydroelectric dam to generate electricity for local consumption, or to serve as irrigating channels for agricultural expansions. They can also setup a water treatment plant and pipe water to homes. These are public services from which the city can generate revenue and attract population to flourish, which increase the IGR exponentially.
There is no reason why Ekiti, with all its hills and valleys and streams, lakes and rivers does not have one or two dams for functional delivery of public service. Thank you and God bless you for your reply. If nairalander can discuss issue the way you just did just imagine what nairaland would turn to. You raise some factors which i said i don't to delve into in my writeup because of the drama it will generate defeating the intended purpose of my write up which is we should not put all state on the same level. As stated Lagos has some advantage which other state does not have, the political advantage of being the former capital which mean the Federal government in the time past put some effort into developing Lagos into a position befitting her status as the federal capital and lucky enough for Lagos jakande came along the buba marwa and tinubu till ambode . Another advantage that play in favour of Lagos is her economic advantage over others and also being a major gateway centre of the country. Some people may want to argue about other state with port and crude oil but my question is if those state had receive the same attention from the then Federal government as Lagos will Lagos be the only state with such financial capacity? Please don't get me wrong that am in support of the wrongs going on some of those state, sometimes i wish means to deal with those governors. My opinion in term of development and provision of infrastructures in other state should not be put on the same level with Lagos. State should be assessed and judged base on their capacity not base on the capacity of a sister state. We should not look things from the angle of political party affiliation. Today we are hailing aregbe for some of the infrastructures but deep in my heart when i consider the cost and the debt the state is in right now i feel pity for the next incoming governor except oil price goes, the next incoming governor of that state will be seriously hamper in carrying out his or her campaign promises. Your last two paragraph sum it all on how ekiti can improve there lot and i alluded to the vast arable land in ekiti in my write up. Its all good on paper but this things also need some financial muscle which ekiti is seriously lacking. |

In as much as i want development in every area of this country i will not for the sake of sentiment argue blindly or join the herds in their opinion.
Its a pity to see people comparing and contrasting the recently just commissioned fly over bridge in ekiti with that of Lagos and some 2 or 3 state.
Questions people should be asking is how much is the cost of the fly over bridge? Was the cost inflated? Was there other under hand dealings? Is the quality of job done commiserate with the declared cost? Questions like this is what should be on people's mouth.
In terms of infrastructure and all and pace of provision, right now no state can meet up with Lagos state because none of them can boast of the financial power of Lagos state and the advantages she enjoined being the former capital of the country and being a major gateway centre.
Ekiti state and some other state can not even boast of one quarter of Lagos of Lagos financial power. In fact Lagos monthly income alone from internal generated revenue is the total yearly income of some state even adding Federal allocation to it.
Now can people expect people ekiti to compete with Lagos. Is like saying our father should compete with the likes of dangote and fellow billionaire in catering for our needs. In reality is that possible? You and i know it not possible unless we want our father to kill themselves and throw the family into mourning and misery.
Today many state are neck deep in debt to that it will take generations yet unborn to pay them off that's if we leave anything for them to just live by. Today many state are owning months of salary, pensioners are suffering and during before there time because of lack of proper health maintenance due to lack of financial capacity. Am not going to mention state so as to avoid creating another topic or drama off this write up of mine and defeat the intended purpose of this write up.
Some state monthly recurrent expenditure far outweigh their monthly total income that is internal generated revenue and federal allocation and this state government are condemned to meet up with the recurrent expenditures and provision of infrastructures. How can such a state survive? Or even put up edifice like Lagos and Abuja ?
Fayose of ekiti state did what he can do within the state financial capacity and don't forget he has salaries to pay. With current ekiti state financial capacity and the debt he claim he met that will took ekiti state till year 2048 to pay off that's if no debt is added. Don't forget not long ago a stat took home about 200,000 naira from the monthly federal allocation because of over indebtedness. Many state have put on hold many on going project because of over indebtedness and the bitter truth some state can't survive without the Federal allocation, their internal revenue generated is nothing to write home about.
As a governor, fayose was appointed to improve the conditions of the ekiti people and one way i think he should have put massive effort on is the utilization of the vast arable land in ekiti state. That would have gone a long way in improving the lot of the people of the state and the state purse. Well let me stop here before delving into another angle.
Please if we must argue, compare and contrast let do so with sense of morality and with facts. Thanks
Take note i stand to be corrected. If you believe am wrong in my write up please do take your time to correct me or counter my point but with no insult. God bless you. |

RighteousI: Driving through Alausa, Ikeja, one will locate JJT Park that was opened last year. A statue of the Eyo masquerade sits on a water fountain in the park. It has been designed such that visitors can walk on the fountain through the Eyo masquerade statue.
The question I am asking is whether it is appropriate for a Christian to visit such a park. Is it sinful for a Christian to attend such a park? Should a Christian associate him or herself with such masquerades?
Note that the yoruba tradition as well as other African tribes mix religion with culture. If should be noted that the Eyo masquerade is religious and not cultural. The government should have realized that such statues in a public park can cause a controversy, government is supposed to be secular. Since they have dedicated a public park to Eyo masquerade, then they should do the needful, which is to also dedicate a public park to Christianity. Where is your faith? As a christian, a follower of Jesus Christ you need not be afraid of one eyo this or masquerade that. You have been place above them , wielding power and authority over them. In the beginning when Baba God create man, He created us in His own image and blessed us to reproduce, multiply and replenish the earth. He did not stop there but He went on to bless us with power and authority, to take dominion and rule over everything in the air, land and in the water but unfortunately through the act of disobedience and rebellion man lost those right and power to satan but thank God for Jesus whose coming and sacrifice has restored back all that back to us as long as you believe and accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. |

zaramtips: ANGER DID IT
Anger has killed many souls It has destroyed many businesses It has even destroyed many valuable properties It has destroyed marriages and good relationships The same anger has also made so many businesses loose potential customers
A lot of people are struggling with this Life threatening Issue. Here me, until you deal with it.. You will keep rotating in a circle
Some people uses the word "Anger is a normal feeling" to justify their anger issue . Yes Anger is more than normal, it is even healthy but you know what? It is a HEALTHY ASSASSINATOR.
Some people be parading claiming CEO, Head of the house, Boss lady and all other title. You think say you be boss, Na lie o. Anger is the real boss here and until you deal with it, it will continue to boss you around
If you don't deal with it now, maybe very soon you will become a victim of those things listed above
There are just to steps to dealing with the spirit of anger
1. heal your old wounds. First of all you need to know that anger is triggered When we are reminded of our old wounds.
For instance: My previous relationship wasn’t a good one at all (Old wound) each time my Fiancé does something that reminds me of my old wounds (Previous relationships) I reacted by getting anger and trying to defend myself from a repetition of what happened to me in my previous relationship. Remember that anger is a “defense mechanism produced by our sub-conscious”
If you can't let the past go, dealing with anger would be a problem
2. work on your self confidence. People gets angry when their self esteem is being tampered with through criticism. Be confident enough to know that criticism isn’t a fact but someone’s opinion.
Do not wait until you fall a victim to those things listed above. it has the power to destroy you but then you need to authorize it first
Let your watch word be "I forgive you for you know not what you are doing"

“If any man come to Me and hate not his father and mother, and wife and children, and brethren and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple " - Luke 14:26
"From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him " - John 6:66
I am a personal victim of this madness that Deeperlife caused, brainwashing me as a gullible teenager to forsake my own father and other family members who were against my Deeperlife membership. They made me feel that it was a noble cause to 'reject' my own family all in the name of making a MYTHICAL heaven and avoiding a so called HELLFIRE.
This is exactly how communist and Nazi societies functioned in the old days, where their religion and doctrine took preeminence over family and personal welfare. The Mormons, Scientologists, and similar groups also practice this same wickedness, breaking up families and destroying well established bonds of love.
Sorry, we will not hate our own fathers or mothers or wives or children or siblings for JESUS - Absolutely NO WAY and NO CHANCE in hell its ever going to happen. balanceofterror1: Now, it's difficult to piece together what is going to become of Zimbabwe after now, however history gives us a peek at the key actors in the drama currently playing out.
Now, this is the story you dont't know.
Mugabe the deposed President of Zimbabwe, Constantine Chiwenga the Head of the Zimbabwean Military and Mnangagwa the sacked Vice President of Zimbabwe are all friends, very good friends, they are comrades. The three men were in their 20's when they entered the bushes and took part in the liberation struggle to free Zimbabwe from white rule. Mugabe who was initially the Sect General of ZANU PF, became the head of state, the other two men were equally given plum positions of power and have continued as the 3 musketeers presiding over the destiny of Zimbabwe for 37 years.
Sometime in the 90's - Mugabe, the first musketeer fell in love with his personal secretary who happened to be another man's wife at the time, the lady's name was Grace and she became his mistress. While Mugabe was still married Grace had children for him. In 1996 they became man and wife after the death of Mugabe's first spouse.
But Grace was no ordinary mistress turned wife, she was not ready to take a backseat, she turned herself into Mugabe's political confidant, she used the bed and made her way to the very centre of Zimbabwean politics straining the relationship between Mugabe and his two comrades.
Mnangagwa the 2nd musketeer after many years of loyalty became Mugabe's Vice President in 2014, paving the way for his eventual hold on power should Mugabe retire, resign or die. But Grace had other ideas she wangled her way into ZANU PF's politburo and began her move to take out Mnangagwa and take power from her ailing husband.
In August 2017 Mnangagwa accused certain persons in the party of trying to poison him and made references to Grace. This didn't go down well with Mugabe, how could anyone accuse his beautiful harmless Rose flower. What Mugabe forgot was that boys are allowed to fight but the brotherhood must stay strong and united. In a move that shocked everyone (but didn't shock his beloved Grace) , he removed Mnangagwa from the position of Vice President, Mnangagwa not sure of what Grace will do to him fled to South Africa.
Now, in comes the 3rd musketeer Chiwenga Head of the Zimbabwaean military, a friend and brother of both Mugabe and Mnangagwa, "this is all the fault of one woman", he is probably thinking in his mind, " we were one until this woman came. I trust Mnangagwa to takeover, I don't know this woman; by the way, where was she when we were sleeping in the bushes before the liberation".
Chiwenga sends a warning to Mugabe advising him to put his house in order, the first time he has ever spoken this way to his senior comrade. Thinking Mugabe will take the signal, call him, negotiate and talk things over a cup of tea. NO! Mugabe does the exact opposite, he sends his Minister of Information to tell the Army General to stay out of State matters, Mugabe then finalises plans to sack Chiwenga. The military chief at this point knows his brother and comrade in arms has drunk deep from the strange woman's bosom, it's not him speaking anymore, so he rolls out his tanks early this morning. He's therefore right when he says,"this is not a coup" ; when you really look at it, 3 friends have only fallen out over the ambitions of a woman.
Latest reportś say Mnangagwa the 2nd Musketeer is on his way back from South Africa, i've just seen a report he's been installed interim President. The 1st Musketter Mugabe is under house arrest. The 3rd Musketter is in the saddle promising calm and quick elections. The 3 men have held Zimbabwe under lock and key for 37yrs, this is nothing but a change of baton. Zimbabwe needs a real revolution out of the hands of the veterans of the liberation struggle. In the 21st century Zimbabwe is the frozen out Animal Farm in George Orwells celebrated work.
Meanwhile the woman Grace, who started the whole katakata, I hear has fled the country leaving her beloved husband who sacrificed everything to face an uncertain fate.
16 million Zimbabweans could not remove Mugabe but a woman did.
Mama was always right when she always told me, "son - be careful who you fall in love with and eventually marry".
A lesson to all men. Wow! Nice write up. Please permit me to copy and paste on steemit. |

Lilimax: SCISSORS COUPLES: ✂✂✂
I needed to use the scissors this morning & as I finished with it, I looked at it carefully & I saw that, the scissors models an ideal couple. Let's see some lessons every couple should learn from the scissors so that we can become better couples & build enviable homes.
LESSON 1: The scissors is always in pairs & that's where its usefulness is. Once you see one part & the other part is not there, it is useless no matter how beautiful it is. The effectiveness of every marriage is lost when couples are not together. Separation & divorce destroy the effectiveness & usefulness of every marriage. Remember, 'united we stand, divided we fall'. Separation is not only when you separate physically & you are no longer living together. There are many couples who are together under the same roof but are spiritually, emotionally, sexually, financially, socially, etc separated. Are you sure you & your spouse are not separated in one of these ways?
LESSON 2: The togetherness of scissors is not automatic. There is a small bolt or pin that fix the scissors together in the middle. In the same vein, if couples must be bounded together like this scissors, there must be 'bolts' that must fix & wed them together that will make them inseparable. Some of the 'bolts' are: √The presence of God √ openness& trust √ Unity √ Healthy & joyful sex life √ family vision √ good family finance √ hot family altar, etc. I tried separating this scissors this morning, but the pin was so deep into it that it was not easy for me to separate them.
Lesson 3: The scissors is useless except someone holds it. Couples can't be effective except they allow God to hold them and use them to achieve their marital destiny. No family is really useless. It is either you are positively useful & that happens when it is God holding the two of you. You will be negatively useful when it is the devil holding the two of you. The devil can hold the two of you and use you to destroy each other, and destroy the future of your children & even destroy your eternity. Ask yourself as couples. Who is holding us & holding our family?
Lesson 4: Each pair of the scissors has a sharp part & a dull part. The face is sharp while the back is dull. In the same vein, each couple has his/ her area of strengths & weaknesses. Your spouse is not empty. Though you might see the 'dull part' of your spouse, but if you want your marriage to accomplish its purpose; you must recognize the 'sharp part' of your spouse. You also must display your 'sharp part' (strengths). Don't just display your 'dull part'. That destroys marriage fast!.
Lesson 5: Synergy in working: The pairs must come together before it can cut whatever you want to use it to cut. Each pair will bring its sharpness & join it with the sharpness of the other & cutting will be done easily & smoothly. In like manner, synergy is the energy of any family. All this: my money, my car, my own, my thing, me, mine, myself syndromes will sap away the energy of your marriage.
Synergize your resources, money, connection, visions as couples, so as to give energy to your marriage to advance it to the next level. 'I'ness is the mother of illness in marriage while 'WE'ness is the mother of wellness of every marriage.
You want energy for your marriage?, then go for synergy. Only 'SCISSORS COUPLES' are SERIOUS COUPLES. You can share to bless a family. Your cup shall never run dry of wisdom. Am glad i clicked this thread. |

Politics › Matter Arising The Nigeria Army And Immunization by enm(op): 1:22pm On Oct 17, 2017 |
For the past week now I have been reading news about the immunization being conducted by the Nigeria army and the buhaha it generating. A lot of people are throwing insult here there, calling concern and responsible parents idiot and illiterate. The question is are they really idiot or illiterate ?
I see not wrong in the army trying to do some free community service in other word i see nothing wrong in the immunization exercise but everything became wrong when they try to do it without proper sensitization and parents consent.
A responsible parents who are concern about the welfare of their wards will not hesitate to take their children away, why should they put their children in harm ways ? To prove to you they are literate abi well educated?
A responsible parent don't care about that all they care about is their child life. It is stupidity of the highest order for a parent to allow vaccination they know nothing about on their child and without their consent and it is stupidity of the highest order and crime against humanity if any school should allow that on their premises or to their students or pupils while still in their care. If such thing happened, I will sue the school and the management for attempted murder, negligence or any other crime i can think of.
So those of you insulting please stop it because you are also insulting your parent indirectly because as a responsible parents that they are, they too will not allow such thing to happen, they will behave exactly the same way this parents are behaving if they found themselves in their shoe. Peace. |

TEYA: I remember how indigenes of Kano and other northern Nigeria states refused to allow their children to be vaccinated during obj's regime, their reason being that the vaccine was meant to sterilize their kids. The result is while polio got eradicated in most countries of the world, northern Nigeria kept on struggling with the disease and today many children in that region are paralysed as a result. Now the south easterners will not take vaccination because they believe Buhari wants to infect them with monkey pox. We really have a problem in this country. Pesin wey do us dis jazz dey wicked and e dey do me like say the pesin don die tey tey! I see nothing in giving free vaccine but as a responsible parent it is wrong giving my child a vaccine i know nothing of and without my consent. The Nigeria Army goof big time, one would have thought by now they would have learn their lesson but no they refused to. Ordinary school excursion dey receive consent from parents. What stop them from sensitizing the people a week to the vaccination period and requesting for consent from parents? |
