Many are living but they are not living because in the spirit they are already dead, what you see about is just a carcass or remains of their body.

They are dead in the spirit because they have allow defeat to creep in on them. Giving in to defeat is not something we should welcome not to talk of entertaining because we all are born conqueror, created in God's own image with the ability to multiply and replenish the earth and also power and authority to have dominion over everything including fear, defeated life and the evils of this world, Genesis 1 verse 28.

If what's written in genesis 1 vs 28 is the truth, why are things different from what the scripture is saying?.

The fall of man is responsible for what people are experiencing. Satan, the chief deceiver, deceive man into disobeying God commandment. Man was living in divine health, no sickness. Man was abundantly living in affluence and wealth because God The Father made it so, providing all that man need to live, to flourish, reproduce, multiply and have power and authority to have dominion but after the fall things change to the opposite. As you can see, you were not created to live a defeated life, a depressed life, a life full of anxiety, you were not created to be running up and down from pillar to pillar in search of solutions, you were not created to live a terrible married life, you were not created to live in lack and want, to be unfruitful, in fact the truth is you were not created to suffer and nobody is either irrespective of tribe, country, status and colour. Man; you were not created to fear, worship and bow before the devil it is the other way around.

Is all hope lost?

Now as you can see from the above scripture, The Word, His nature and power is revealed to us. The Word was there when God The Father was creating man, The Word is the Force behind creation. God spoke the Word and things came into being and Jesus Christ is that Word, the Word that contained our winning secrets and the bible contained the Word in written form. Many people today have bible in their home gathering dust, some use theirs for decoration and as part of their dressing to church. The bible is not meant for such. A lot of people are suffering today and many Christian are among them.

We as a Christian, follower of Jesus Christ have no right to be living a defeated life because with our salvation comes our divine inheritance of divinity. We have be reborn by the spirit and being born of the spirit we live in the spirit and by the spirit subject only to the law of the spirit which is life, but to operate fully in this realm of divinity which is a winning life we need to step up or upgrade from baby Christians into maturity, we need to stop being spoon feed and start feeding ourselves the word of God and this can only be achieve by dusting and picking up the CLOSED BIBLE and open it, read what's inside, study and meditate on it. Someone living in sin who has not giving his or her life to Jesus Christ and has not accepted and confess Jesus Christ into his or her life can not enjoy the full benefit of study Word, have the Word living in him and living in the Word. Or you once give your life to Jesus but backslided you too can not benefit from the inheritance and blessing that comes with salvation, you need to make your peace with God through Jesus. You must first give your life to Christ Jesus; surrendering all of you to His Lordship and confessing Him as your Personal Lord, Saviour and master. Why because sin is a thing of reproach unto God, very offensive in His sight. It was sin that disconnect man from divinity and from God ( in the beginning God used to come down from heaven to fellowship with man ) so you can not be in sin and expect the Word of God to fully work in your life.

Don't let anything hold you back from giving your life to christ, no matter the sin don't let it hold you back. Giving your life to christ is your birthright so don't let any seductive or manipulating voice to stop you, it is the devil trying to stop you knowing that once you give your life to christ and begin to operate in newness of life in Christ Jesus he will instantly loose authority and power over you making him powerless before you. So claim your birthright, Jesus Christ has paid the price and free you from the bondages of sin. All you need to do is acknowledge and claim it.

This is a season to ensure that you are positioned in the right place. God is moving people in new directions to accomplish His divine purposes. There invariably will come a time in our spiritual journey when the Lord will solicit our cooperation in permitting Him to guide us in a new way. His preference is that we would sense His leading, fully cooperate, and move in the new direction. However, as is all too often the case, He must intervene in the affairs of our lives due to the fact that we are comfortable and entrenched in our present course of action.

To secure our attention and place us on the pathway God desires, there are strategies that He employs that are very effective. As much as we are not to be ignorant of satan's devices (2 Cor. 2:11), we must be even more knowledgeable of the ways of the Lord (Ps. 25:4). Knowing God's ways will result in us experiencing His mighty acts (Ps. 103:7).

Here are three ways God works to move us in a new direction:

1. Disruption of Our Plans
2. Dissipation of Resources
3. Dissolution of Relationships

1. Disruption of Our Plans

The Apostle Paul had received an apostolic commission to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles. In keeping with his mandate, he targeted key cities in the Roman Empire to visit. Yet, the New Testament narrative informs us that on at least one occasion he was not able to fulfill his objective because God saw fit to stop him. "They went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia and were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. When they came near Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not allow them" (Acts 16:6-7).

Like Paul the apostle, while attempting to do the will of the Lord, perhaps you were heading down a certain roadway and you ended up "hitting a wall" and were stopped in your tracks. From that point on, no matter how hard you worked, you were incapable of making significant progress. Initiatives and projects that were originally inspired by a lofty vision and deep passion ended up languishing, some of them even terminating.

When stuck at an impasse, it is a natural tendency to return to familiar surroundings. We see this in the lives of the disciples after Jesus' death. They went back to fishing even though they had clearly been mandated to forsake their vocation and follow Christ (see Luke 5:10-11; John 21:3). Because they were commercial fishermen, there may even have been economic motives behind their actions. Nevertheless, we see clearly that there was no lasting provision and no permanent peace in returning to past environments.

When God leads us out of a place of familiarity and the way forward is blocked, what is the solution?

There are some breakthroughs reserved for us that can only be accessed through prayer. We must seek God until we receive a clear answer from Heaven. Whether it was Paul's night vision of the man in Macedonia summoning him, or the voice of Jesus speaking to the disciples on the seashore in Galilee, the New Testament Christians received clear direction from the Spirit and were able to regain momentum and experience breakthrough.

2. Dissipation of Resources

When God wants us to move in a new direction, He may also permit us to experience the dissipation of resources. Elijah had been powerfully used by the Lord to declare prophetically the purpose of God in dealing with Israel. "And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, 'As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word'" (1 Kings 17:1) And just as the prophet had foretold, the word of the Lord came to pass. "And there was a severe famine in Samaria ..." (1 Kings 18:2).

During the famine, God looked after Elijah. He gave him specific instruction relative to how he would be sustained. "Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 'Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.' So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook" (1 Kings 17:2-6).

Cherith which means "place of covenant," was where the Lord demonstrated His faithfulness in taking care of Elijah. However, the day would come when the brook would run dry and the birds would no longer fly (see 1 Kings 17:7). Although Elijah had come to depend on such provision, God seemed to have no compunction at all cutting off these resources.

Has Your Brook Dried Up?

Have you experienced something similar? Your streams of resource have dried up. You struggle to make ends meet and you do not know how you are going to keep going. During such a time, trust that the Lord will soon speak to you like He did to Elijah. "Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 'Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you'" (1 Kings 17:8-9).

More than a cute cliche, you will see that the place where He leads you will be the place where He feeds you. Where the Lord guides, He provides!

Dissolution of Relationships

A third way the Lord works to set us in motion in a new direction is through the dissolution of certain relationship. (Please note: we are not addressing covenant marriage relationships here). We see this clearly in the life of David. The heart of King Achish, once favorable to David, turned away from him. "Then Achish called David and said to him, 'Surely, as the Lord lives, you have been upright, and your going out and your coming in with me in the army is good in my sight. For to this day I have not found evil in you since the day of your coming to me. Nevertheless the lords do not favor you. Therefore return now, and go in peace, that you may not displease the lords of the Philistines'" (1 Sam. 29:6-7).

An unanticipated meltdown in a relationship can cause great pain. Abandonment and unanswered questions will naturally follow. One vital truth to come to grips with is that God will on occasion send certain people into our lives for a short season or perhaps even a brief encounter.

God-sanctioned, transitory connections, though non-sustainable, serve a purpose in facilitating the plan of the Lord. Being able to differentiate between what is intended to be provisional and what is meant to be permanent will enlighten one of the Father's intentions for the relationship.

Here is a powerful truth to embrace when a key connection you value has dissolved for no apparent legitimate reason: The Lord is turning the hearts of men in the direction He desires (Prov. 21:1) and is in fact making it easier for you to let go and move forward into your next assignment. Therefore, do not take the matter personally nor become bitter with people as though they are rejecting you.

Trusting in God's Good Guidance

You may not understand what is currently happening in your life. Does it seem to you that God has messed up your plans? Have resources dried up? Has a relationship disintegrated?

Sometimes Father God's ways do not make sense to us. Scripture even attests to this reality. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts" (Is. 55:9). This is because the LORD possesses infinite knowledge and perfect wisdom. He is eternal, Almighty and omniscient. He sees the end from the beginning and is completely aware of the final outcome of all things.

No matter how it may appear on the surface, He is actively involved in the affairs of our lives. On occasion, He may even interrupt our plans resulting in us experiencing a sense of anxiety due to a perceived loss of control. However, as uncomfortable as we may become, we must trust that He is leading us along the best pathway for our lives. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye on you" (Ps. 32:.

This is the season to dig deeper depths! Here is something the Lord put on my heart regarding going deeper in order to experience breakthrough. Having traveled to various nations of the world, I have found that some of the countries that are the richest are in fact the poorest.

What do I mean? A nation may possess a plethora of natural resources, but if they are not intentional about tapping in and developing those resources they will remain in poverty.

The same is true in the Kingdom of God. We have been given an abundance of grace for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:. We have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3) All things pertaining to life and godliness are ours (2 Peter 1:3). On the Cross, Jesus cried out, "It is finished!" (John 19:30). There really is anything else that God needs to do for us.

Hidden Treasure

There is an intriguing concept taught in the Bible regarding God. Isaiah the prophet received revelation into this mystery and cried out in awe, "Truly You are a God who hides Himself, O God and Savior of Israel" (Isaiah 45:15 NIV Emphasis Added).

The Bible instructs that spiritual treasures are hidden in Christ, "...in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (Colossians 2:3). Hidden in the original Greek language is an interesting word. It literally means hidden to be discovered. We see this same truth taught by Jesus Himself: "For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light" (Mark 4:22). Understand that God is not hiding His riches from us; He is hiding them for us!

Digging Deep

If we are to experience all that Christ has made available to us, we must dig to deeper depths where the treasure is found, "and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God." (Proverbs 2:4-5).

In Christ, we have a treasure that is of greater worth than all the riches of this world. Many have neglected this treasure and left it buried in the ground of their lives because they have failed to discern the value of what they possess.

How was it that for the cause of Christ, Moses so willingly walked away from the power and prestige that was his as one of the most powerful leaders on the earth? It was because of the revelation he possessed of the worth of Christ. "By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward" (Hebrews 11:24-26, Emphasis Added).

Without Holy Spirit's help it is so easy to underestimate the profound worth of the spiritual riches that are ours in Christ. For this reason Paul prays for the saints: "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." (Ephesians 1:17-18).

Do you know that Obasonjo had an agreement with Mtn when he was in power that for Mtn to access the then 150million Nigerians as a prospective community he wants to earn N1 on every recharge of mtn. Note that Obasanjo doesnt earn A dime when you buy an mtn sim pack, he only earns when you rechearge regardless of the conception people had that it is until you include *555*1*, with or without the *1* he still gets his commission. This form of income is called Royalty income or Passive Residual Income.
Few months ago Mtn had issues with NCC on sim registration. A statement was released that an average of between 25million - 45million nigerians recharge MTN daily.
Ladies and Gentlemen this simply means that Olusegun Obasanjo earns about N25m -N45m every 24hrs of his life for the rest of his life and he can also pass this income to his children and generation(Legacy).

Praises and worship helps and boost us spiritually even the devil can not withstand and stop you from praying.

Op, it is one thing to look for an get a deliverance minister to be in agreement with you and join you in prayer unto God but you must be committed and be ready to fast and pray on your own, live a holy life for God is holy ( I know its not easy but with the grace of God it is. IT'S A TRAINING

“...and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.”
(Mark 10: 46)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, blind Bartimaeus sat by the wayside begging. Because of his blindness, he spent his days begging. If one hundred people walked past him, he probably had to beg them all. He probably learnt how to scream loud enough while begging.

When Jesus was passing by, Bartimaeus screamed at the top of his voice and asked for mercy. He learnt to beg men for money, and he was able to beg Jesus for mercy. His beggarly experience positioned him for a divine repositioning. The downside of his life became the platform for his next level. Begging was his training for his next level.

Friend, like blind Bartimaeus, you may be at that level where you are ‘begging’, but God says, it is a training for your next level. You may be working under someone who stresses you out and makes you go the extra mile to do your work; God says, it’s not a punishment- it’s a training for the big stage. You may have been in difficult circumstances, and God says, what you learnt therein will help you to rise to the next level.

Your setbacks, disappointments, difficult moments, pains, tough times, etc are preparations for your next level. When men think they are short-changing you, they have no idea that they are making you wiser. When men think they have caused you losses, they have no idea that they just might have fired you up for prayers and prophetic confessions.

God can cause beauty to arise out of the ashes of your life; your negative experiences are not a waste of time if you take positivity out of them. Ask God to show you the training in your tough times; it may be tough, but it’s a training.

Prayer: Lord, may every tough moment of my life prepare me for my next level, in Jesus’ name! Amen
