Secondly, for those with one year olds, what do you typically pack as food for them for day care, I'm running out of ideas and how often do they eat in a day. Jazzyjazz, hunniesuzzie, Enque, Zaynie, Queensnow, Alphahandmaiden.

We use 2 different coolers for her meals...
She is still messy wt food so this kinda compartment plated nor go work for us... Maybe when she is much older.
Check lushluxurykids or rubifor_your_home on IG, seen those portion plates on their pages b4.

Breakfast - Pap, AS food... I'm tryna introduce bread n tea as a breakfast option sha, since she likes both and presently takes them inbetween meals

Snack - bread, biscuits, fried plantain, banana, apple, boiled egg

Drinks - ribena, tea, water

Early Lunch - rice+stew, jollof rice, beans+yam, beans+plantain, plain beans+mashed titus fish, plantain+stew, jollof spaghetti, any other cooked meal option is fine.
I use either liver, beef or fish to support her meals. I cut them up into tiny cubes dt she can chew easily. For the fish, i debone and break into flakes.

Late lunch - cereal (cerelac or nutribom). I pack 2 types of cereal (sometimes she eats both b4 5.30pm and sometimes she has just 1, depending on how hungry she gets that day)

Dinner - she loves eba and we don't take it t school, so it's mostly had as dinner. She also eats whatever I am having for dinner wt me. (last nyt we had boiled yam+fried egg)
On days when I'm too tired to make dinner, if she has remaining cereal from school, she has that for dinner.

Good morning all,
Let me talk about my experience with Jaundice on my baby kamsi.
Let us always try to be vigilant and anything we notice in baby we ask question even if the Dr is trying to play over sabi abeg look for another hospital sharply.

I delivered on the 9th and whenever I try breastfeeding baby he will open his eyes but when the Drs are checking him he hardly opens his eyes for them to even check. I kept telling them to check for jaundice but the pediatrician kept on saying he doesn't have it.
Fast forward to Saturday 12th she came to check him again and I still told her and even insisted that I don't like the colour of his eyes at all, that was when she said everything is okay but that I can come in on Monday to see Dr if I am worried. (Who will not be worried abeg) In my mind i was like Sunday to monday is not too far sha.
Monday morning we got to the hospital to see another pediatrician who then ask what the problem was and I told her only for us to run test and the result came out 15.3bilirubin I started crying up and down that I even forgot about my CS pain.)
We were admitted at Massey street children hospital and discharged on 16th.
I was told that the reason why chidren have jaundice is because if we don't treat toilet infection and malaria when pregnant that baby will have jaundice don't kw how true it is sha.
My Dr never gave me malaria drugs when I was pregnant even when one of the test I did showed that I had malaria he still refused to give me drugs.

This is to FTM please anything you notice on your baby pls ask questions and if you are not okay with the answer abeg seek another opionion.
Follow your instincts at all time please.

I never had malaria throughout pregnancy, and an antimalarial was given to me as part of my routine drugs yet my baby had jaundice.
I know someone who had malaria during pregnancy but her child didnt have jaundice

He poops 1ce in 3-4 days, max 5days but isn't constipated
It was already about 3days b4 I started giving the puree, tot it was gonna help
Was surprised when it got to the 6th day without poo
Had to pump him(which I don't like doing) b4 he pooped and it was hard

pls stop the pumping...its not advisable
just watch what he eats for now

100% apple juice or pear juice will help him poop.

b4 my DD turned 1, she used to poop once in 2 days...when she was much younger, she pooped 1ce in 3-4 days and she wasnt constipated.

Its d texture of d poop that u can use to know if baby is constipated or not.
some babies just dont wanna poop every day.

apple isnt a stool hardener, altho Google says that applesauce (pureed steamed apples) helps to harden stool when babies have diarrhea.

u can use regular oats, blend it dry into fine powder and then cook for ur LO

OR

U can buy baby oats (gerber oats, nutribom oats etc), u just add watern formula shikena.

I've been putting plaster on the fingers she sucks for the past 2 weeks and its been working, but d moment u remove the old plaster to change to the new one, she quiclky puts d fingers bk in her mouth even if its for 2 secs.

Good evening house o,how are we today, abeg what do I do to ease my dd bowel movement, she's 10month,she's mainly on pap,cerelac(which I've stopped coz I thought was d cause), potatoes, beans, amala and ewedu, but she always finds it hard to pass stool, I cry with her when she groans, sometimes it takes a whole day before she finally passes.....I really dunno what to do, I've tried feeding her orange,banana,some said I should give her agbo jedi(herbal drink for pile), so said I should be feeding her goya oil every morninh.....pls help, I'm so worried, knowing how crazy I felt when I couldn't pass stool after my cs, now happening to a child.

from my experience,

Banana is a stool hardener.
Oats helps to reduce constipation
pear puree also helps with constipation
give her warm water firs thing in the morning immediately she wakes up before bath or a meal.

u need to start the whole lactation process again.
keep putting baby to breast, u can use fenugreek too
