I tried doing plank and wall push ups last night, I cant even lift my hands till now. Pains all over so na the easiest route I dey find. I don't eat bread like everyday again.

planks and pushups are advanced workouts
I didn't start all that till like week 3

start with basic things like skipping, squats, jogging on the spot and then you move to more advanced workouts (I even still struggle with planks and pushups till date). Start with the simple ones and your body will gradually warm up for harder routines

I weaned Zara b4 I started my weight loss program, so that I wouldn't restrict myself.

For the exercises, I did them actively in the first 5 weeks and then started slowing down from week 6 and I am still losing weight....its majorly what u eat that can make u gain weight, but U'd still need some form of exercise to help u burn more calories.

Let me add, acv+green tea alone won't make u lose weight o. They are not magic pills

She has not completed the drug dosage except for artesunate. Hubby said i should stop the drug that the side effect ofthe drug is what she's experiencing(camoquin,augmentin) .But i guess camoquin is the culprit because I also react to any drug that has .....quin because this is not her first time of taking augmentin

For the dehydration I have ORS prepared on Friday,can I still give her or I should prepare a new one?

A fresh ORS solution should be prepared after 24hours

No, their milk as infants is different from the ones we take as adults.

That's why they call theirs modified cow milk, and you will also find that on whole milk (full/filled cream) labels, they specify not to feed to infants under 12 months.

Moreso, their digestive system is not rugged enough to produce hydrochloric acid, it is a stomach acid that helps break down the proteins found in whole milk.

You will notice that theirs is powdery and light, very light. But ours, is denser and as such heavier.

I have not fed her any whole milk since yesterday and there is visible difference in the way her skin looks generally.

So it's OK to conclude ur baby has an allergy to whole milk, or it's one of those things that her system will get used to with time?

Let me start by appreciating all the mamas that has out of their tight schedule been able to answer other mamas question.

I've been following this thread since I gave birth to my DD(now 13months) even though i was not registered then and I can boldly say its has really helped me being a ftm.

DD has been running temperature for some days after given her pcm,it subisdes and after that it shows up again.so I took her to hospital on wed and she was given antibiotic,antimalarial with pcm after given her the drug the temp would come down only to resurface again.

Around 3am on Friday,her temp.was high again and after given her pcm, I decided to log in and read post that I've missed and I saw review on NUROFEN.
Immediately I gave the drug,even though it was another brand,her temperature has been back to normal

HELP!!! She has been on BF for the past 6days without food. Also I noticed some rashes on her body and she has been crying frequently than usual,there's decrease in amount of urine passed.

I'm assuming they ran some tests at the hospital and the results was what they used to administer those drugs to her...
Has she completed the dosage of all the drugs??

Whenever my DD has malaria, I notice that her temperature keeps going up till she finishes d last dose of antimalaria...then everything just comes bk t normal. So if ur dd hasn't finished the drugs yet, give it some time, the temperature will subside but if she has finished all the drugs given to her nd is still running temperature, then u may need to go bk t d hospital.

I'm guessing she is on breastmilk cos she has no appetite for her regular food? Is she taking water well? If no, then that may be a reason for d less urine.

Take it easy dear, other mama's will come n chip in more.

Mom Zaynie, something you said yesterday about milk being the cause of rashes has saved me from endless worries. Apparently, babe has an allergy.

It's no wonder the medications I used didn't work long term.

Could you please recommend a soy milk, or milk product for her?

And to think I bought extra packs of whole milk for her?
Who will drink all that now kwanu?

She returned at 8m+. SHe only had measles and yellow fever snc the last shot at 14weeks.

Do you mean I should ignore the next measles and yellow fever shot? Then take the 12-13 months shot and chicken pox?

After the 14weeks shot, she is to take vitamin A (oral) at 6 months.
measles and yellow fever are to be taken at 9 months, after which you go ahead for the 12 months vaccines which is chickenpox n co.

So i took my son for 12month immunization, only for d nurse to tell mi dat its only vit A dat my HMO covers dat will hv to pay for meningococcal conjugate (16k) and MMR - chicken pox (14k). Anyway i paid cos i was rushing to take him back to creche den head back to work. Now thinking back am feeling cheated and financially drained ( unplanned expenses) these are my concern 1) even if its not free, is it that expensive?
2) its really necessary or complusory to take them cos still hv to take another MMR and chickenpox shot @ 13month

we have 12 months immunization on saturday, and I already got the prices from the hospital just incase HMO says they are not covering all. everything is aprox 20k, so NO, I don't think u have been duped. Maybe ur hospital just has longer throat than mine

Anyways, I use baby tribotan for my baby whenever she has a rash, and it doesn't bleach her skin.
About the pulling of hair stuff, I don't have an idea but U can take him to a paed to get him checked out
