OgiPrincess: Thank you so much for the prompt response.
I'm not taking this semester exams but I intend to continue from next semester.
How long do you think it would take for the change to be effected?
Are you schooling in Minna? I suggest you prepare to apply for the transfer next semester because if you apply right now, it may not have that attention since everything around transfer now is considered with relevance to the coming exams. In normal condition, it takes about 2-3 weeks. Your target is to get your Centre changed before exams 2020/2 exams which won't be an arduous task if you begin the process as at the commencement of 2020/2 semester. Cheers. |

OgiPrincess: Please anyone here in Minna Study centre?
I'm moving to Bida, Niger State from Lagos and the only study centre in Niger State is in Minna.
I intend to continue schooling over there.
Please how feasible is this?
And if possible, how do I go about changing my study to Minna Niger State?
Please, Thank you If you are going to take the coming exams, I suggest you stay back and finish the exams. Changing your Centre right now will be very difficult except if you are an Officer or Health Personnel dispatched to the new location due to the present pandemic and other special cases. If you don't stay back, it could make your writing the exams almost impossible. My advice is that, if your reason for changing Centre is not VERY strong, you could hit a hard rock which may lead to not being able to take the exams. BUT... If you are not taking the forthcoming exams, you can go to your Study Centre and apply for a change of Study Centre. It may take sometime but it will be effected and you will see it when you login to the school portal. |

If Nigeria were to be a country, Naira Marley should have been arrested during that concert. Are they saying all security protocols were not aware of the concert throughout the time he was there? Before you call Naira Marley useless, just know that he is way smarter than those up there. |

middlebelter: When you come to a public place to cast aspersion on the person you don't know anything about it only depicts the quality of your mindset and I therefore conclude you are not worthy of any response. That's the truth of middlebelt. It was only a coincidence you are a middlebelter. So, all what I said there are about Middlebelt of Nigeria and not about your personality. Bringing in your moniker there was just for the joke cos of the joke and nothing more. Don't get it twisted. |
Politics › Re: Court Judgement; Attah Igala More Interested In The Peaceful Existence Of Ko by Enskynelson(m): 10:40pm On Jun 15, 2020 |
middlebelter: The fact that you secure a court judgement doesn't make the land yours. There will be appeal and if the court judgement is rigged again, then it means the Government is delibrately setting the region on fire. You will need to convince the whloe word how you own a land across major international rivers, tell us what the state of the land was in 1860 when you claimed ownership . Tell us why that place was not under Benue state with you and why you didn't lay claim to it then. Sorry, I didn't see your moniker before responding to you. The land is yours Middlebelter. Remember that being in the middle means confusion. You are not there and not here; you belong nowhere. LOL. When the North wants to 'use' you guys, they refer to you as North Central and in times of sharing allocation for the north, you become middlebelter. A middlebelter is a used and dumped north. |

middlebelter: Laughable! His own style of seeking for peace by attempting to anex other people's land must by the type of peace unknown to mankind.
He should however not think the other tribes will seat down and watch him take over their land without a fight. In the 21st century, winning a tribal war may take more than the resources of the direct parties involved. The bolded, how did you come about that? Meanwhile, you should as well try to read the implication of the judgement as it doesn't mean those living there will have to leave the land. |

bigtimemugu: Gudnoon nairalanders, I have been working for a company for 35k per month for 12 months no increment, I have been promoted from one position to another without a payrise, late may this year my salary was increased to 50k with a whole lots of task, I work Monday to Sunday, 7.am to 7pm some times down to 9pm. ist week of June a similar company base on recommendations invited me for an interview, they offer to pay me 120k, which I insisted on 150k, finally they agree to pay but when we went to thebbusiness place is a little beginning business that I have to grow from the scratch in an isolated area,I began to reason if I opt out of my present job and venture into this ,how long will this payment last, if the business folds up ,where will I start from, in my present job it might take another 12months before another increment but I can work there as long as I may wish to work cos it has job security, pleas advice me am confused and I have family with kids. Life is full of risks. Prepare and take the risks. If actually you have been surviving with 35K, 35k jobs are not so difficult to find. I advice you take the new job paying 150k. Spend only 50k if possible (since you have been surviving with 35k - 50k). Save up 80k every month. In a short while, you would have saved up money that can help u start some biz, buy a job or keep u till you finf another in the event of the company folding. Pray about it and commit it into God's hand as well. Life is full of risk and not taking risk is even another risk on its own. So, bottomline, go for the new job, save from the first month and be prepared for any eventuality. |

pongwa: A quick one...please I need urgent update about msc public health admission. What happens to an application already done this semester? Will it be active next semester or admission has been concluded for next semester First, the programme is not starting this semester but next semester. From the admission list released before the lock down, I saw only one person cleared. So, if you didn't get the mail confirming your admission, you are not alone and it doesn't mean you have been denied admission. The rest applicants will be attended to and they will commence the programme by coming semester. |

Samisha500: Thats why they stated you must be a Computer literate. What level of literacy? Being able to navigate pages and knowing what to do on the windows is a level of computer literacy. But being able to type 50AWPM is another level entirely not to talk of how to fix some mathematical functions. In my view, the video came rather late. |

All that coming after the application process has closed. If it had come earlier, it would been better. Now, I was not wrong with my earlier thoughts at all. |
