teekay213: HI,is it possible for me to cancel my studentship with noun and start again by applying for an admission in the new center i want? i'm in my second year,i missed my second semester reg last year because of change of center and my first semester result is bad.i want to start again, don't want a bad grade. I think the best is to forget the former and start, just like you said. The only thing NOUN policy is against is running more than a course concurrently. Conclusion, just go ahead with the new admission and forget the other one. |

Aladegba: Please explain deeper before i apply. Are you saying i can be in south africa and write my exams without coming to nigeria? What about supetvisor? Will he relate wiyh me via email? I mean, u cannot do the courses at the moment outside Nigeria because all the exams are written at the Study Centres and study centres currently don't operate outside Nigeria |

Aladegba: Please if you are not in nigeria and you wanna do your msc with noun, is it compulsory you must come to nigeria study centre for exams or thesis and supervisor? YES. All exams are written at the Study Centre and at the moment Centres outside Nigeria still remain plans in the pipeline. |

Yes, I think it's OK. But the total credit unit is quite little (16). 18 credit units is ideal. Adding an elective wont be a bad idea especially if your credit units in first semester was not more than 18. |

Dwayne22: The guy that have been guiding me said the courses are newly introduced courses, that since I have 1 carryover course left to write in 300l that I must also write the newly introduced once.
My result are good I don't know why I have to retake this newly introduced 300l courses while am in 400l just because of one carryover
Please someone should help me check this out, cause they are telling me to pay roughly 90k for everything Can u mention some of the courses? For instance, GST302 was meant to replace GST301. So if u have done GST301 and passed, no need to do GST302. |

Dwayne22: Please who can help me out..
I tried registering for my final exam and project, I logged in my portal only for me to see 300l courses to be registered while am in 400l. Now I don't know what to do, am feeling depressed already. Though I omitted a semester The 300L courses u see, have you done and passed them? If you have, no need to register them but if you haven't registered and passed, u are required to clear them especially if they are core courses. |

Phiheywhy1: @ Anthonyo, u re doin g8t job here since 2016 i join noun, i ve know you to be a good guy. God bless u sir. Pls, i regst for project when registr fees ws reduce to 3k. But later, it ws change back to 40k. Since then, i ve -37000 balance on my portal which i kn is not an error. Now am expectin my name on the graduation list. My question is can i pay into my portal now and if i pay 37000, wu the money deducted nd stand for balance of the 3k projct registration. I'm postgraduate student (msc) Pay the money into your wallet and you will be cleared. This is because you will need your wallet printout to show during clearance. And you MUST not have negative. That is the main thing. So, go ahead and fund your wallet to clear the negative balance. |

It depends on the credit units for each of those courses. Go to playstore on your android phone and download MY GRADE POINT. With the app you can calculate your CGPA and find out your class of degree.

Fantachapman: Hello good people, Is it possible to finish from NOUN at your own pace? For example, would someone who has secured provisional admission at NOUN for a 4 years course, be able to finish in 2 years if he/she was fast? or is everything done strictly by the calendar? Also, those who have studied at NOUN and transferred to another school, how easy was it to secure a transcript before graduation? There is minimum and maximum time in spite the 'flexibility' you hear about the programmes. I Masters programmes for instance is scheduled for two years but I have seen people finish their program in a year! But in the example u gave, it is not possible. For instance, most 4yrs program requires 120TCU and you cannot do more than 24units in a semester. So, u can see that it is not possible in the case of the example u cited. |
