My name is Emmanuel. In 2013, I was in a bus from "old park" to some place in "Abakpa" all within Enugu metropolis, Enugu state. I wasn't very conversant with the place I was visiting in Abakpa, so I opted for guidance. Luckily for me, this fair skinned beautiful Lady talked me through and collected my cell number for further guidance even after I had dropped off the bus. She later gave me a call some minutes later to ascertain I had reached my destination. Her name (the name she gave me when I requested was) OZOEMENA and she said she hails from Eha-Amufu, isi Uzo L.G.A. of Enugu state. Please, Nairalanders, this one is very important to me and I want anybody with useful information on how can locate this lady to kindly help me out. I believe in appreciating good gestures no matter how long it takes. I lost her contact shortly after the incident due to phone damage/virus. Help pls! Is there any Ehamufu person in the house |

Webmasters › Re: How To Start An Educational Blog In Nigeria - Victorwinners.com by eodavids(m): 8:58am On Jan 25, 2018 |
Vickwinners: Are you a coach or someone that loves teaching people stuff?
Here's Goodnews for you!
Starting an educational blog in Nigeria that helps you reach out to your audience directly is not only a good thing to do, it's one of the best decision you'll make as a blogger.
Reason is because not only is the educational niche one of the most diversified blogging niches, every single day, there are virgin areas cropping up all over the place in the educational niche.
So as an edu blogger, you have so many options to choose from.
And it doesn't just stop there, here in Nigeria and Africa per se, the educational niche is one of the most under-utilized niches in the blogosphere.
Many people are yet to go in there because it looks less lucrative compared to Entertainment, Tech and other niche areas.
One good thing about starting out as an edu-blogger is that you don't really need to get some Professorial recognition or doctoral degree. All you need is share your expertise with people around the world.
And if done well, you could get to places so many people with doctoral degrees are yet to dream of.
On the contrary, All you need to start an educational blog in Nigeria or anywhere is...
1. Tushing up the necessary skills on the niche topic you choose, 2. Understanding your target market, 3. Getting a business plan and working up your brand…( Yes, you'll want to approach your blogging as business).
You can develop your content and kickstart your online educational website based on your expertise and experience with these steps I mentioned up there.
Yeah. it’s that simple.
In fact you can maintain a daily blog while including a full fledged academic website on the same domain.
It’s simple. To be honest, I think this is even the simplest way to evolve a successful academic website especially on a small scale.
So what kind of an educational blog should you start?
You can start an educational blog focused on any of the niche below…
1. Tips for doing well in school. 2. Tutorial blogs. 3. Blogs offering advice to campus students. 4. Blog to train students on specific subject areas. etc. 5. Blog for advanced tips on specific scholarly areas... It's almost unlimited. You can add whatever you want here.
Alright. So below are the step by step process that will help you set up your educational blog.
1. Decide on the niche: Besides those topics I listed up there, there are other niches you can settle for, depending on your goals and purpose of blogging.
So the first question to ask yourself here is why am I blogging? What do I want to achieve with an educational blog?
If you can’t easily find a reason why you should set up your academic blog, you can ask yourself, is there a particular profitable need in the educational niche that I can fill?
In a situation you still want to go further, you can ask yourself;
Do I have a specific experience or training in this field that can add value to someone else’s life?
By the time you’ve genuinely answered this question, you’ll be able to find yourself a sustainable area where you can focus your educational blog.
2. Domain Name and Webhosting. The idea you come up with from step one above will then guide you as you go about choosing your domain name and web hosting account.
So supposing you want to focus on Writing tutorial for students from a particular institution, you will then choose a domain name that will reflect the niche area you’re focusing on.
This will help you when you’re creating a brand for your blog. And also for Search engine optimization purposes.
Again, the idea you came up with on step one will help you settle for a particular kind of web host.
Depending on the nature of the academic blog you’re looking at, you may decide to use a shared or dedicated hosting.
Also this will help you to decide where to host… If you’re going to use a well known hosting companies like Bluehost, Liquid Web, Smartweb etc or some local web host especially if you’re not doing something serious.
3. Installation. So after settling for your domain name and web hosting account, you can then move on to choosing a particular Content Management System for your blog.
Although there are a handful of CMS in existence today. And most of them are free to use. One of the most outstanding CMS is still WordPress.
So you can get over to wordpress.org, download the software and upload it on your web hosting account.
Or simply install it through the control panel from your web hosting account.
You can also Install the necessary addons and design your site exactly as you’ll like it.
There are a few walk-through tutorials that can help you through the process as you go about setting up your educational website.
Although if you find the learning curve difficult, you can get help from experts (like Victor Winners Digital) and have them help you set up the site in a few hours.
4. How to promote your educational blog.
There are so many ways you can promote your educational blog and get the words out there both for your intending readers and clients.
One of the important ways of promoting your academic site is through content marketing, that is writing content relevant to the subject matter of your blog in such a way that drives repeat traffic to the site.
There are also many other ways including writing guest blog posts on other established sites.
As part of strategies for growing your educational blog you’ll also need a strong social media presence.
This doesn’t mean you have to be active across all major social media. Instead you can choose a few of those popular social media platform your target audience hangout.
There are also paid promotional services for blogs.
You can use these too. Ranging from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google paid ads, you can choose a social media strategy that suits your blogging goals. And then you can write a paid promotional post on an established blog with your target audience.
Alright. So like I said earlier, starting an educational blog is a great thing to do because the educational niche is not saturated at all.
There are so many sub niches where you can get to dominate in the educational niche based on your locality.
And you’re going to work! Because the success of your blog is going to depend on you.
With the above guideline, a realistic business plan and hard work on your part, i can assure you, you'll certainly evolve an educational blog that is not only recognized in Nigeria but other part of the world.
http://www.victorwinners.com/2017/11/05/how-to-start-an-educational-blog-the-complete-guide/ Am interested. I really need your coaching so I will create an educational niche here in Nigeria. But can you elaborate further for me, especially on the step-by step procedure? Thanks a lot! |

"One Nigeria" has been the most popular slogan or rhetoric that people use to drive home the point that Nigeria needs to stay united, both now and in the future. Politicians and people if Northern Nigeria may have used the phrase more than their southern counterpart. But beside the rhetorics, you will find that some actions from highly placed individuals and groups already goes to question the voracity of the "one Nigeria" slogan. Actions and style of leadership displayed by His Excellency, PMB, do not agree with any form of one Nigeria. He rather rubishes it entirely. ALL SERVICE CHIEFS AND COMPONENTS OF THE SECURITY ARCHITECTURE OF THE PRESENT ADMINISTRATION COMING FROM NORTHERN NIGERIA ALONE IS NOT WRONG NOR EVIDENCE OF BIAS IN THE VIEW OF PMB AND CREW. EVEN THE TWO OFFICES EMPTIED AT THE SAME TIME (SGF- BABACHIR LAWAL & NIA- OKE) HAVE BOTH BEEN FILLED ALREADY BUT EVEN THE SOUTHWEST COULD NOT GET BACK THE OFFICE OF THE NIA, NEITHER THE OTHER SOUTHERN PARTS. Is Buhari not showing the world that he prefers a northern government Sectionalism is what we do not want under one Nigeria. Not from Nnamdi Kanu nor from president Buhari. But but are sectional in their interests. Let all well meaning Nigerians condemn this pls! Cc. Lalasticlala, Myn44 |

dingbang: First of all let's ask ourselves why did Jesus let John to baptize him? Note pls: The baptism of John the Baptist is different from the baptism Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19; Mark16:15-16. The difference is that John's baptism was for "preparing the way of the Lord" that's in getting people ready for Jesus' ministry. (It wasn't for salvation and even John the Baptist never said it was for salvation). The baptism Jesus commanded is for salvation as Jesus said that "whosoever believes and is baptized will be saved". Pls. Note the distinction. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Water Baptism Really Important? by eodavids(m): 12:02pm On Jan 20, 2018 |
PetrePan: I'm not a bible scholar or know much bible verse and i may make bible reference without verses..
The question is 'is water baptism really necessary to fufil all righteousness?'..
There are great men in the bible that are righteous and didnt do baptism(e.g abraham, enoch was righteous that he didnt even die,job etc)..Peter also said that 'be baptize in the name of holyspirit...'
And jesus christ also did baptism b4 starting his ministry..
So the question are:do we need water baptism before we are save?..if i dont have water baptism,am i still a devoted christian?..if i dont have water baptism,we i still make heaven?..so many question to ask buh will stop there..
I'm sure all those men i mentioned up there are sure in heaven(and they didnt do baptism)... Pls,i need answers.. I will assume you are honest with this question, so here is an honest Biblical answer: JESUS-CHRIST solemnly commanded baptism and that is the reason why Christians must observe it. Read Matthew 28:19. This Bible passage teaches that as we preach to people, we also baptize those that believe. Read also Mark 16:15-16. The lesson from the above verses is that people who believe in Jesus Christ, but are not baptized are half way on the road to Salvation. Read 1st Peter 3:21 and see that baptism is what can make a person stand before God on the last day to express words like: "I did everything I was commanded in all good conscience..." The early Christians understood the importance of baptism as you can see in: Acts 2: 36-42 where 3000 people were preached to and baptized in one day without delaying. Acts 8:26-38 where evangelist Philip preached to the Euthopian man and upon believing, had him baptized that moment. Acts 9:1-18 where Saul (now Paul) was converted and baptized even though Paul's convention was more of devine handiwork. Acts 10:1-48 where cornelius who was reckoned as a good man already, alongside others had to be baptized in order for them to be saved. You will understand the content of 1st peter 3:21 better when you consider that Cornelius who was already a good man was baptized in order to be saved. NOTE PLEASE: ABRAHAM, ENOCH, JOB, DAVID, ELIJAH, ELISHA, MOSSES, (you can keep naming the great men of the old testament) WERE NOT CHRISTIANS BUT GOD'S SERVANTS UNDER DIFFERENT DISPENSATIONS OF TIME AS CONTAINED IN THE SCRIPTURE. THE CONCEPT OF BAPTISM IS A CHRISTIAN ONE. YOU WONT FIND IT IN THE LAW OF MOSSES WHICH UNDER LIE JUDAISM. 2ND TIMOTHY 2:15 says you should be able to understand and teach the Bible correctly.... It includes you being able to understand the word of God according to dispensations and ages. We had the patriac age- times of Adam to Noah...; the Mosaic age- Mosses time to pre-Christ's coming; now we have Christian age. Pls note that how God interacted with people had differed through the ages. Ages change and differed, but God remained the same. The reason why we call him God of all ages. |

Madridguy, don't you think Nigerians should unite in finding solution to these clashes that have taken live and continues to consume more? PMB, our president should rise to this challenge and mediate between the indigenous tribes and herders. Nobody is gaining from this prevailing chaos, even if the casualties are low on one side, still a life lost to this avoidable chaos is irreplaceable and deplorable. My heart goes for the Fulanis whose loved ones have been killed this way. Personally, I wish these people weren't killed. I also wish I have the power to bring the carnage to an end. It has not favoured Fulanis, neither the other tribes. History will be fair to all well meaning Nigerians who rise to this challenge, even by saying what constitutes an amicable way forward. |

Sule Lamido and sons were charged to court in 2015 for an infinitesimal amount of money. Do you know how much? 1.5 billion naira. Common knowledge is that the current Governor I Jigawa state hates Lamido with passion and if the only fund he charges Lamido of having embezzled in Jigawa for 8years is such amount; then only ignoramus of your type will accept such allegation as if a proven fact. Lamido was the best performing Governor in his time and Jigawa state is the testimonial for you to feed your foolish eyes. Saminu Turaki, the predecessor to Sule embezzled over 10billion but sule did not make too much noise, rather he went to work as Governor and left a good report card for the future present and future Jigawa people to leverage upon, blind and deaf people like you won't see or hear that. I am not a PDP person, but Sule Lamido Worked hard for Jigawa state such the the current, Badaru, won't measure up to and being slammed with allegation of 1.5 billion against his sons is negligible compared to the work he left on ground. Buhari is my man. We paid for his ticket in 2014 through the then BSO recharge cards. But I won't abuse anybody, his candidate nor his supporter. Gain sense pls! |
